I've come here three times already, each time I've been given the wrong jewelry. They don't do returns or even exchanges.. even if you haven't opened it and they see you not open it. They mislabel their piercings. This time I went in thinking "maybe if I'm specific they'll understand what I want." Nope. I had the same issue last time trying to find threadless jewelry. I got the same girl so I thought she'd know what I want.. I pointed at the threadless tops for 16G and she said "they all fit" I thought it was weird but I trusted her. I love the merchandise, but after my last experience, I will never shop there again! They are over-pricing their polished selenite stones. Selenite generally is pretty cheap. The last two times I was in that store, they were selling them for a dollar, which is about the average price for that item when compared to the vendors on Etsy. Today, when I went to buy three polished selenite stones, this young clerk with a mustache wanted to charge me $5.95 a piece. When I told him that last time I paid only a dollar. He showed me the sign that said all stones were $5.95 from the spinning island of stones where the selenite stones were located. (Previously, there used to be a sign that said the selenite was a dollar.) I told him that I could get that cheaper elsewhere. He said go ahead and buy it elsewhere. So I left the items on the counter and said I will, because they are definitely overpricing their polished selenite stones. Then in a smart-ass tone he told me to have a nice day. It was the tone that was really disrespectful. Here's a Google Search that will show you how cheap selenite is and where else you can buy it if you want to avoid paying $5.95 per small item. I Love this store because of it Uniqueness, BUT DON'T buy the cute little backpacks for $35.00. Mine started falling apart in less than 4 months. I very seldom use it, so there is NO reason for it to be falling apart already. Lousy craftsmanship. And their return policy is only 30 days with receipt. They have an amazing selection of body jewelry, and some other cool stuff here and there. But that's about all they have to offer. Out of the many times I've been in this store I think I've had a good customer service experience only one of those times. Usually when I walk in, nothing about the staff impresses me, and the last time I went in, I literally stood in the same spot at the counter, right in front of the stretchers that I knew I was going to get, but it took way too long for one of the several girls to notice me...and was I greeted with a smile? Hi? How are you? Not a chance. I love this store and they're usually so helpful. But just now when I went in the old woman working there with grey hair was so extremely rude to me she was very snappy and impatient. Absolute horrible customer service, my husband and I are both people who work in customer service and we were absolutely shocked by the way she was acting. I ended up only getting one nose ring when I was wanting to buy many more. I didn't wanna waste any more of her time. I asked her what metal they were and she told me surgical steal, then I noticed every container said sterling silver, still not sure what metal I got. She also reeked of cigarettes. Bought 4 different septum rings, none of which I can wear because they were all defective in different ways. One horseshoe the balls were the wrong side, one horseshoe one ball just had no threading and wouldn't screw in, on clicker the clicker part broke, one full ring the metal "plating" chipped off like cheap paint as soon as I opened it. This store is ran mostly by teenagers who could careless about customers having a positive experience. When I called to see if I could exchange a item (lamp cord with light, I bought to hang. The store itself I will definitely give it five stars. They have tons of body jewelry, incense, dragon figurines, Egyptian style artifacts, bags/wallets, etc. Think of it as a little piece of Ashland in the mall (o: The only reason I'm giving this a three instead of five stars is because of the customer service. Which is a pretty consistent complaint I've seen by other reviewers. I never receive a greeting from anyone and it takes a long time to be acknowledge by anyone, even when you're the only customer in the store! I'll spend quite a bit of money on body jewelry when I buy them, so it's pretty annoying when you're pumped up to purchase several pairs and you have to "inconvenience" someone to do their job. Now, I purchase most of my body jewelry online but go into the store to look at the designs and go from there. *I worked retail in that mall for about three years, when I saw customers come into the store I would always greet them, ask if they needed help finding something, and if not let me know if they do need help. Came in for lip jewelry. The owner incorrectly told us the "standard gauge" for lip piercings, sold us the wrong size, didn't say anything about no returns or exchanges. We ended up with the wrong size, which is kind of our fault, however we would have never bought it if he didn't specifically tell us it was the "standard size". The real trouble started when we came back to buy the correct size. First, the owner straight up lied to us and said, "I would have never told you that was the correct size." Flat out lie. We both heard him say, more than once, that this was the standard size. Then, we asked about bringing it back in to exchange (it had not been opened). He said to come in with the receipt and we had 30 days. Fantastic. Came back the next day with receipt in hand, and they told us all says were final, no exceptions. So first, the owner gave us incorrect information. Then he lied and said he would "never have said that". Then he told us we could exchange it. Then we came in to do so, and were told we couldn't. All in all, a really terrible experience. This isn't the first time we've been burned by this shop. Will never return. My 13 year old son bought me a lamp for Christmas. He went in and I stood outside. He bought the lamp, came out and handed it to me. We then went straight home and I wrapped the present and put it under the tree. It was not touched again until Christmas Eve. When I opened the box, the glass was flimsy and cracked. Please note that this lamp was decorated with what looks like pieces of glass and the light shines through the cracks, so not really noticeable until I went to set it up. Once I noticed, I took it back to the store for a refund. They refused. They said that it was a hefty refund to give back in cash ($31.99). My son paid in cash but they refused to return it. I spoke with the manager over the phone and he basically told me that there was no way that it left the store like that, so we must hAve broken it. I informed him that this was not the case and he basically said that we were lying and must have broken it. WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!! Worst customer service I've ever seen!!
