Falsifying information and reversing her anger management onto tenants. Changes her mind at any given time and expects for you to go along with it. Don't even think about asking her a question. Constantly threatening to evict. Literally does whatever she wants if she doesn't like you including keeping your deposit. I repeatedly asked to be part of the "newsletter " because my vehicle almost got towed. Fortunately I had a friend who lived in the complex and informed me before it happened. Even after that, sounds of silence. I have no idea how she legally gets away with it, but landlords in this valley seem to have that reputation, and she is no exception. As a Mexican American I truly felt discriminated, and I haven't felt like in a long time. Many people in this valley informed me how whacked out she can be. So fair warning if you want to have a conversation in the morning with this "winner." Sad how common it's become for people to abuse others because of a job title.

She is very effeicent, knowledgeable, caring and organized. I was nervous about moving during Covid-19. Shelly took extra precautions when viewing the unit, all paperwork was done online, the unit had been professionally cleaned, and the carpet was replaced. Shelly was tremendously helpful while filling out the application and then the lease. I would email her and she would immediately get back to me even after 5pm. I also set up a phone call to ask questions about the lease since we couldn't meet in person. The property is immaculate, well cared for, clean, and community oriented. My apartment is quiet, peaceful, well maintained and the location is awesome. You can catch the bus or walk into Vail or Lionshead Village

Each bedroom had its own full bathroom which was perfect! There was even a half bath on the main floor by the kitchen. One bedroom had bunk beds, while another had a queen bed and the last room had a king size bed. The decor was updated and the kitchen was very nice with built in dishwasher and refrigerator. They even had a Wolf oven. The kitchen was totally stocked with all items anyone could want- cutlery, plates, silverware, cups, cooking supplies, etc. The patio wasn't overlooking the main mountain but that was fine because we didn't spend much time in the room. The patio did have a grill and small table. The unit also had a nice workstation with computer monitor, printer and webcam. This would be great if you were able to work remote. The downstairs floors even seemed to be heated. The pool and 3 hot tubs were a nice addition. Parking was free and the location was walkable to the slopes. The lobby didn't have coffee ready until about 9am everyday but that was the only downfall. The lobby was clean with games and a nice fire. The location was exactly what we were looking for.

Each Vehicle or Guests who has a Vehicle has to go thru at the Front Desk and when you check-in you will receive the instructions on how to open the Door to each property etc.. and you NEED a VALID written tag which allows you to park your vehicle at the designated parking areas AKA Parking Lots. The "rented" Condo is located on the TOP Floor aka the 3rd Floor. There arent any elevator what so ever so hence you need your POWER MUSCLES to go thru all those stairs with your Luggage or all the stuffs you need like SKIs/Snowboards during the Winter. The organizer who run the weekend activity, opt to "rent" or have 3 BED and 3 BATHS, and since both my friend and I came earlier than the rest of the guests, we get to choose the "biggest" room, with the "biggest" TV in the room. All in all its doable. YES, they have "amenities" in the premises, but we did not get the chance to use it due to the hectic schedule we have for the weekend. In conclusion, we don't mind returning, though its a bit of a drive from Beaver Creek and Vail itself since this property is located in AVON itself. Perhaps a MAYBE... The complex had a great lower level with air hockey, shuttle board, billiards, hot tub, pool, fireplace, etc. This lower level is large and spacious so you do not feel like you are intruding on others if they are also in the space. The view off of the lower level is of a gurgling brook -- just gorgeous. Location is excellent as it is just outside of Vail. Easy to get to Vail, but not as many people in Avon. We found the location to be a great blend between a visit to Vail for people and activities and calm, quiet evenings. We hope to be back.

We chose to stay at The Ascent Residences based on the photos and prices, and reserved our stay through East West Resorts. I was very happy to see that the photos matched those posted on the internet, and our condo was extremely clean and spacious. As it is a newer unit(A108), it featured hardwood floors and a kitchen with Stainless Steel appliances and granite countertops. The bathrooms were done in marble and the master has a whirlpool tub. What really made the trip special was the customer service provided by Annique the property manager and Greg, who takes care of the grounds and runs the shuttle. They both went above and beyond to answer every question we had, provided recommendations for places to go, and generally cared about making our stay as comfortable as possible. We will return to The Ascent!

The building is beautiful with a cabin type feel offering seating areas with a fire place to hang out and watch any weather going on outside. (At one point for us it was snowing and absolutely beautiful outside) The rooms are large with 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms, a nice sized living room and dining space and every appliance and kitchen utensils you need to have meals right there in your room. This saved us a bunch of money from having to go out to eat all of the time with 10 people. It was large enough for us to have breakfast and dinner all together in one of the suites. Worked out perfectly. We noticed that one of the remote controls was missing batteries, so we used the one from the living room and all went well. Notified the front desk and they were on it immediately to get us those batteries. Great service! We did take advantage of the hot tub a couple of nights. They have an indoor hot tub and pool and an outdoor hot tub and pool, along with a sauna and a steam room. So many options and all free with your room. This is a great place to also bring a family. They have a playground and a free shuttle every 30 minutes to take you in to town for shopping and dining. This is a great property and I highly recommend then for a weekend or a week stay.

There could sometimes be a kind of long wait for the elevator though. I had a two bedroom, two bath condo, and it had all of the basic kitchen necessities I could've needed. I was a little unclear about housekeeping as they gave me a flyer which I thought said I wouldn't get housekeeping, but I actually did. The one frustrating thing was trying to add a name to the reservation. At hotels, you can just call down to the front desk and get that taken care of. Here, I had to go to an owners portal (I'm not even an owner.... Just booked it direct on the Marriott website) and fill out a bunch of information about the guest, including their email address and address. It took them a long time to process, and I wasn't sure if the second person was going to end up having issues checking in. So, make sure you have all of your names right on the reservation to begin with! The shuttle was very quick both heading to Vail and leaving Vail. I was a little confused as to where to pick up the shuttle though at the hotel. I stayed in Evergreen and they said the shuttle would pick me up in front of the building, but I didn't know exactly where that was. It turns out that the front entrance is between the third and fourth floors of the hotel.
