Finding the right physical therapist (PT) was crucial. The PT team here is outstanding! Their care and hospitality made me feel truly valued. George, with his constant smile and cheerful "#welcome, welcome!" greetings, along with Dana, Hazel, Ken, and so many wonderful souls whose names I can't mention, all stood out. After two months of treatments, 2-3 times a week, my pain level went from a 9 to 0--a truly incredible result! Quality of Care / Quality of Life…read more I came to this facility because of the high recommendations. I deal with neck pain that would sometimes force out of bed at 3am and I would have to sleep sitting up to make the pain go away. Ever since I started coming to this facility, I have not had that problem any more. I am currently still rehabilitating my neck but the progress has been excellent! I can sleep until it's time to go to work. That's something I won't take for granted anymore. The staff are brilliant and fantastic! Rose and Ziba work at the front desk and are sincere, sweet and extremely helpful. They make sure you're informed of everything you need to know and are on top of your appointments. Rose also steps in to help you with exercises when needed. Very knowledgeable and reliable. Venki, is the PT. He does an excellent job communicating in the sense of seeing where you are. He'll always ask if you feel okay from stretches to make sure there is no discomfort. I really like that we have conversations on the possible triggers of the neck pain and always proposes solutions. Dr. Andrew, provides the chiropractic care of the therapy. Filled with personality. Makes you laugh while giving me major insight into my injury. Never rushes you, encourages questions and makes sure you leave satisfied. I enjoy the fact that he helps me to understand my condition better than the other doctors I have been with. He educates me on that. I truly appreciate that! Finally, Glenn works with me on training. He gives me exercises to make my neck and the muscles around my neck stronger. Very insightful and knowledgeable. He explains the purpose of the exercises while pointing out what each muscle group does while I perform them. If I have difficulty understanding something, he'll explain it to me in a different way. Overall, I find the entire staff to be compassionate, attentive, professional, intelligent and committed! From the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out. They care about helping people get better. You'll see it from how you are greeted on your first visit. So far, the quality of care I have received has led to a better quality of life because of them. I highly recommend this place! Jahn G.

I'd like you to know that I've never received PT before and I've never been in a PT office. I've been coming here to receive physical therapy for a few weeks from Dr. Patrick. It's been a painful experience but I'm feeling much better (glad that it's over!). I've asked him so many questions during my treatment and he patiently answered every one of them. The staff have a great personality and they're very pleasant. I highly recommend getting your PT done here. Everyone here speaks English so don't worry if you see a lot of Korean elderly patients in the waiting room. The location is on the second floor of the plaza and you'll find parking through the Sanford Ave. entrance. Just the elevators and go up to the second floor (or use the stairs). As soon as you exit the elevators, the office will be right in front of you (to the left). It's a small physical therapy office. The rooms are small and have two beds in each that are separated by curtains. The rooms are separated by wall partitions. You might hear other patients but it didn't really bother me. What I like about this place besides the treatment I've received and the staff is that I was able to do walk ins or I would call to find out if they were busy or not. If they weren't, I would just drive over there since I only lived about 15 minutes away. They seem to be very busy during Wednesdays by the way. If you're like me, just avoid visiting on a Wednesday! It's best if you visit before 4pm. However, the best time for me seemed to be 3-3:30pm. During the last session I've had here at KOAM, they seem to be replacing their old gowns with a thick robe-like gown. Just make sure that the open side is towards the back. Thanks again, KOAM PT!
