This place is bad for Amazon deliveries. The staffs I've met so far aren't friendly. The black lady and skinny guy in his late 40's or early 50's are extremely rude! Most of the customers or tenants here are not thoughtful as well, because in their Amazon delivery note most of them keep saying to either look them up in the intercom for them let us in or to go through the locked through, but so far since March 2026 to today 4/17/26 I have not been able to look them up in the intercom (I think management either hasn't updated their intercom database or the tenants are playing other games). Getting back to the male staff; he's rude; he never smiled at you but just pointed to his desk and said, "put it there" and looked away. Today I tried to deliver again but as mentioned, the customers didn't include their apartment's intercom calling number so I couldn't do anything but to call leasing office, and the skinny caucasian man let me in. He pointed to his desk, then I told him we had an issue again that I couldn't look up the customers. When I said that he got mad and started talking about how no one had issues but except me. I thought that was very rude of him, because even if that's the case it is the property management's fault for not updating the intercom database and for the customers not being proper with their delivery note (this place, you can almost never be able to get in since 2024 if you don't live here). So, we kind of argued back and forth as I was telling him that one of his co-workers had told me to call the customers or the tenants by the names (last names) but they didn't update so couldn't. Anyways, I don't think he should have shifted the blame onto me like he did, because I was following what the customers said and what we usually do when we're delivering packages. If they don't update the calling database (update the customers' name registry), they could've at least told their tenants to not give random orders or delivery notes to confuse us and simply just say "deliver to office" would be SO MUCH better! I've been to many places and buildings bigger than this one, but this is by far the most disorganized building in terms of delivery/receiving. And a lot has to do with their intercom being very aged and not touch-screen like many similar buildings like this in the Downtown MPLS location. Finally, if you're going to do leasing office management duties, please be professional, as well as being patient with people and don't give people bad attitude. He literally tried to debunk me when I tried to tell him that "there were some issues" with their intercom calling system (the other staff literally didn't believe me at all). This was my first apartment so I was naive picking it out but it's so bad. Water Damage: I told them I was moving here *a month in advance* to have my apartment ready because I was moving across the country. There was water damage in almost every room (plus it's all carpeted so it was squishy and smelt like mildew 24/7) and maintenance wouldn't work on it for an entire month. My mattress was propped against a wall because I couldn't put it on the wet floor but the side of the mattress got soaked and damaged anyways. Also, when they finally fixed the leaks, they never even put my vent or baseboards back on. I put in a work notice to have them put it back on but 6 months later, still nothing. Btw, they never leave a work notice so maintenance just walks into your home and you'll never know if your issues are fixed. Had to buy a security camera just to know if people were coming into my apartment while I wasn't home. Maintenance: Front desk argues w/ you about asking for maintenance or will simply never put in the work notice. Pests/Bugs: There's german and American cockroaches here. I'm a clean freak and still sometimes get them/see them in stairwells. My neighbors have mentioned them to me as well. Ive had a problem with my upstairs neighbor feeding dozens of birds and covering my balcony in bird shit & seeds for months. They killed my entire vegetable garden and flowers. **The bird food started attracting *rodents* into my place.** I reported all of this as it kept escalating for months, they still don't care. I even contacted the property manager and he said there's nothing he can do about it. Even after I sent him videos of the rodents eating the bird food/running into my apartment. I could honestly keep going. But at this point, I'm just going to contact the better business bureau then move as soon as my lease is up. Worst place I've ever lived, unfortunately. read more

DO NOT RENT HERE. Posting this now that I have gotten my deposit back and CRP for taxes because I wouldn't put it past management to withhold it. Lived here from mid 2021- mid 2025 and the building fell apart during that time. Our bedroom was freezing every winter because there was a crack in the concrete outside our unit that we were told would get fixed. I eventually sealed the inside of where the air was leaking in with duct tape but it was not a great fix. The laundry room is disgusting. I have seen some nice residents try to clean the room and machines but they are so far gone. There was a constant smell of mold/mildew and standing water in and around machines. It is so bad that your clothes would come out smelling dirty unless you used scent beads. Dryers barely worked. They "upgraded" some washers that take your money and you would have to see Geri (honestly a saint imo) to get your money back (sometimes as a rent credit but that is not helpful when you need to do laundry same day). Carpets were installed in the 80s and you can tell by the sight and smell they need to be replaced. They have a carpet cleaner that they try to use and it's not cutting it anymore. Heat and water randomly go out and management doesn't seem to be in a rush to fix it. The last few months we were there the fire alarms went off at 3AM three nights in a row. No communication from management about what happened. We also had no working shower for two weeks and had to use neighbors showers. I put in so many work orders and they didn't try to fix it until I threatened to go to court. Was not even fixed by the time we moved out and there was standing water in our tub. Writing this now because I still keep in contact with current residents and there is major flooding happening in the building (at minimum Floor 16 to level A in the parking garage) and heat keeps going out while the windchill is -30F. read more

I've lived in this apartment for 7 years, during our first couple of years, it got an excellent building services from maintenance to concierge. However, we noticed the decline of maintenance service plus housekeeping is not of what to expect in a luxury apartment like this. Further to that, the property manager is not the best to deal with, and does not have any consideration. We have a great experience in this property, they just have to watch for the complaints and request of the tenants. Another issue is the Corridor carpet in every floor, it is stained and smelly and must be replaced soon. read more

I've experienced 110 Grant as executive housing, not as a full time renter, so please keep that in mind as you read the review. 110 Grant has an excellent downtown location that is convenient for stays in the Minneapolis area. I love the accessibility to the Lite Rail as well as Loring Park. It's also a quick run to the lakes if you need some time in outdoor greenspace. I have not had a problem with parking when staying here, a definite plus in downtown Minneapolis. Staff has always been helpful and courteous when I've needed anything. Food options have recently improved with the addition of downtown Lund's on Hennepin, so I'm no longer limited to what I can scrounge from downtown Target or order from a local restaurant to deliver. Overall, I had a good experience when staying here and could definitely recommend it for short term corporate housing. read more

I reached out to ask more details about the apartments . I personally thought Angela was fast and efficient. She responded to most of my questions very fast via email . The only change I would make is making sure to answer all my questions . I believe I asked three times about what current specials the property had and my question was ignored. It was constantly reiterated that electric , rent and parking was the only utilities I would have to pay . Most buildings do have specials right now and I would be a fool not to take advantage of that . I wouldn't have to ask if rental information was transparently available on the website . I lived at One Ten Grant for nearly two years. It was overall a GREAT experience, but there were two things that kept me from giving it five stars: 1. One of the concierges was extremely rude. There's a much older woman who works there (I forget her name, but she has white hair and glasses) and we'd had multiple issues with her. Anything that required her to get out of her seat was an inconvenience and she definitely showed her displeasure. There were several times when, for example, we would know a package arrived from the carrier's tracking information, but we wouldn't receive a "you've got a package" slip. We'd have to literally argue with her for five to ten minutes before she got up to look in the package room, and when we all saw it there she would huffily say (in regards to the slip not being in the box), "Well, that's not my job!" This lady stuck out like a sore thumb because everyone was incredibly kind and considerate during our stay there - it's sort of like HR made an oopsie! 2. The building is getting a little outdated for the price we were shelling out for rent. According to the property manager when we checked out, our appliances were brand new when we moved in but they didn't really act like it. My oven never got up to exactly the right temperature, but since I bake a lot, I learned how to compensate in cook time. The cabinetry is outdated looking, as well as the carpeting, molding, and other features of the apartment. The spaces themselves are great, they're just in heavy need of a face lift if they want to stay competitive in the area with so many newer constructions. Also note that while the walls were thick, it didn't stop us from hearing a thumping bass from our neighbors' 1980s-meets-Euro club music every weekend morning bright and early. At that point, we were moving out and didn't care enough to say anything, and it wasn't heard in our bedroom - just our living room. read more

I have found living at OneTenGrant to be a great experience so far. I have lived here for over a year in a "C" unit. I have only had a few maintenance issues (oven issues, lock stuck, e.t.c.), but they have all been promptly responded to. I have never waited longer than 2 hours for a maintenance issue to be resolved. The space is great. At about 600 sq. ft, my apartment is a good size for one person. Great walk in closet as well as 3 other closets (including a great linen closet in the bathroom). The kitchen appliances are great, stainless steel oven & fridge. Dishwasher & disposal. Plenty of cabinet space. While OneTenGrant is a little spendy, I actually found it to be very reasonable when you consider the full cost of living. After looking at several comparable properties, I found my overall cost of living (internet, cable, parking, rent, e.t.c.) would be at least $200-$400 (p/month) more at other locations. I also work in downtown, so I can't even begin to calculate how much money/time I am saving on gas and car maintenance (not to mention, the value of not sitting in traffic and the 15 lbs. I've lost since I moved here because I walk everywhere!) Here are the only few negatives: It is a young building - the residents I mean. There are occasionally some loud parties with a bumpin' bass, but it is typically only Friday & Saturday nights. Sunday-Thursday it is like a study-hall. I have never complained about this because, to be honest, if you can't deal with a little noise from your neighbors, maybe apartment-style living is not for you. Go buy a house. The elevators are sometimes a bit slow, but I do live pretty high up - long elevator rides/waits are to be expected. Laundry: I actually count this as a positive! There are not in-unit washers and dryers, instead there is a laundry room on the 2nd floor. There are about 10 washers & dryers. I'll admit, I'm an early-bird, so on a Sunday morning around 9:00 am, the room is empty, and I can do 7 loads of laundry at once - so that's about 2 weeks worth of laundry, all done in less than 2 hours. Win. I'll revise my review after I move out (no idea when that will be, not in the near future at least). Among many options in the downtown area, OneTenGrant provides nice living in a great area. read more

This is an overdue review from my time at One Ten Grant from Mar 2016 to Mar 2017. From the application to the final walk through, the leasing team was a pleasure to work with. While I lived there, I loved my apartment! It was a huge 1-bedroom with beautiful wood floors. The apartment was quiet and never had issues with noise. The gym was small and a bit outdated, but did it's job well for a good cardio session. Also, loved the sauna as well. Front desk staff was always helpful- from what I remember, they were 24/7. If I ever move back to Minneapolis, I will definitely consider moving back here. read more

Our only complaint is that the elevators can be slow. But that's survivable. This truly is a pet friendly building. The management has been a pleasure to work with. Very few maintenance issues. Responsive maintenance people. The views from this building are fantastic. On July 4, from our deck, we could pick out fireworks displays from just about every suburb in 180 degrees - maybe two dozens' worth? Walking distance to Bar Lurcat, Third Bird, Caribou Coffee, Target, Orchestra Hall, Lunds-Byerly's, Market BBQ, Eggy's, Nicollet Diner, Salsa a la Salsa, and much more. We're sad to be moving -- and the only reason we're moving is because one of us got a job far away from here. If and when we come back to Minneapolis in the future, this will be the first place we look for an apartment to rent. Another reviewer talking about parking being expensive and the building being noisy, they don't know what they're talking about. Parking here is much cheaper than any other paid monthly parking downtown. As far as noise, this is a solid concrete building circa 1980. You occasionally get a little noise, but you get far less noise here than would from any 100+ year old building in the Loring Park area. This is as quiet as it gets in apartment living. read more

I moved here right when I started working downtown. Right out of college I thought this place was great, because it is a mediocre upgrade from a college apartment. The only difference is that its costs 3 times as much! For 600 square feet, I paid about $1175, and that was AFTER negotiating me rent down (with the old management). I didn't know where else to move into though out of college because I wasn't familiar with the area. For those of you who are looking - Get a condo downtown off of craigslist. You will get a MUCH better value for your money, and can get the same location benefits of 110 Grant. You do NOT have to get stuck with 110 Grant. Unit - After first moving in, my fridge stopped working. Management said they were working on it, but it didn't get fixed for 2 MONTHS! I couldn't keep any food in my apartment, and their only response was "you should have renters insurance to cover that". Management - It seemed like everything I needed to work with them on was a battle. I did end up living there for several years, but it was because managment in the first few years was MUCH better to work with. The manager that came on in 2011 (Chris I believe) was extremely rude every time I dealt with him. He was absolutely condescending and unwilling to work with me in any way. I couldn't believe his un-willingness to even speak to residents (he told me to go through leasing agents for every issue, who then always said they had to check with management!). I think he forgets that this building is home for the residents and acts as if each resident is a paycheck that he can replace at any time. I wish I could find the name of his boss, but I can't because I can't get a hold of him! Parking - I payed for "covered" parking. This is mis leading as the top level of the parking ramp is un-covered! If you drive and get home anytime after 6:00, it's nearly impossible to find covered parking as the ramp is full. So you are paying $80/month for basically street parking. They neglect to tell you that though (of course) Water - Just an FYI, it seems as though they don't have enough water heaters. They run out of hot water at 7 AM. Beware if you shower in the morning - it is cold! Workout room - The biggest benefit of the workout room is that when it's full or the machines aren't working, you are at least near paths outside to go running! They have 3 treadmill machines, but don't expect all 3 to be working all at once. Laundry Room - about 5 in 10 laundry units work. I can't say how many times I had re-dry my items in a dryer and find that, even after calling it in, the machine was not marked or fixed. And it costs $1.25 to wash and $1.25 to dry. Sound - The sound is fine, until someone makes a noise. I lived in the H unit (corner) and my bedroom wall was shared with my neighbor's living room wall. It was fine most of the time, but if he ever turned music on, I could practically feel it! And, in a one bedroom apartment, there was no where to go! The good - I did like the space I was in. But it was definitely more a function of me taking the time to set it up really nicely, than the room itself. The location is also really nice too. read more

My experience has been awful! Renters beware! Don't take anything they say to heart because all they care is about robbing you for a mediocre apartment with an ever increasing rent. They will say anything to get you off their back and then not own up to what they said. The only benefit I had from this place was that it was walking distance to school. Living close to Downtown was great but money can be better spent somewhere else. Parking is ridiculous and and overly priced. Spaces are narrow and it appears that most tenants do not know how to park. So many times the cars next to me were parked over the line making it impossible to open my doors. A female leasing agent was great and the maintenance staff is very friendly and will likely fix anything timely. The rest of the staff either needs more education or a different career path. Very rude and unexperienced. And when they do something wrong, they will ignore the fact that they in fact did something wrong. The walls are thin, you can hear full convos in the next apt or know exactly what show they are watching or what song they are listening to. Their term for "upgraded" is a joke. Mediocre appliances, outdated cabinetry, low-grade carpet, and bad plumbing. Since most people in the work world are up around 6, you need to beat them in order to have a hot shower in the morning. Otherwise you'd be better showering at 9 or at night. It is ridiculous! In my 3 awful years there, the rent increased each year, one year $200!!!! I had no other options set up, so i reluctantly remained in an apt i so desperately wanted to vacate. In truth, the rent increase did not match the market and no upgrades were evident, so in truth, they are are overpriced without justification. There are better places downtown. They might not be cheaper but you are def getting your money worth somewhere else!!!! read more

Management is terrible; amenities are mediocre; rent is overpriced. Don't expect service from on site staff. I would not recommend.

The quality of the apartment service and amenities has gone down significantly over the past 4 years I have been living here. They don't even offer full time coffee (brewed) all day and no coffee on weekends. Compared to other new apartments they are pretty low on standards now. Their hot tub used to be a great attraction for which they have closed over the past one year and a half and no updates when they intend to do so. Their gym is horrible. With the price you are going to pay there are lot of other nearby options which are newer and definitely higher quality. read more

My wife and I have lived here for two years, and we have enjoyed it. The location is perfect and never gets old. The units are fairly nice, but very average. Cheap carpet, cheap appliances, etc... We have lived in an H and J unit. The two main problems with the building is the air conditioning and the dryers - the air conditioning does not work when its below 60 degrees outside, which is a huge problem. Keep in mind we have never had to use our heater - even in the winter because the building generates so much heat on it's own. So, if it's 80 during the day and you go to sleep with the air on, and it drops to 59, hot air will start blowing and your room with heat up to 85-90 degrees - not pleasant. The other issue are the dryers, they have 16 washers and 16 dryers. Dry cycle is twice as long as wash cycle, which means there are often battles for dryers between tenants. Also, there is almost always between 1-3 dryers that are out of order, or, when you go back down to get your clothes, they are still really wet - very frustrating. In two years, we have probably shelled out about $30 and 600 minutes re-drying clothes. All in all we have really liked it here and i would recommend it to others. Management has been investing in things to increase curb appeal and attract higher-earning tenants while forgetting to enhance the experience for their current tenants. read more

I moved from NYC about 20 months ago and wasn't sure I would find comparable service in a residential building but I've been very satisfied. The staff are very responsive and the service is great. No issues with noise or anything else. I would not consider the building particularly high-end but it's perfectly adequate in all necessary respects with added bonuses like the pool. read more

Lived here for almost here, staying another! The new concierge guy (dark hair and glasses) is awesome! The maintenance team is great as well; every small issue has been fixed immediately! I have looked at almost all other buildings in the area, and but I never feel as safe and happy as I do here. Great value for your money. read more

I stayed a year in OneTen from 2014 to 2015 Nov. I liked this apartment. From my experience the good and bad about an apartment is mainly based on the management. In that case OneTen is great as it got a professional management. The management really understands your concerns and helps. I will recommend them to friends and will consider them if I have to go back to Minneapolis. My apartment was at 25th floor the view from the apartment is awesome. I think rent increase is a common phenomenon throughout US; OneTen cannot stand out from that. read more
