Recently my house kept getting cold and thermostat would read 4 degrees below the set temp before the furnace would turn on and when it did, the air flow was weak. So of course I called M&R for service, (Late on a Friday afternoon) . The person who took my call was very pleasant and knowledgeable (Trish). She said she would have someone call me back. Tony B called me right back and asked what was going on, when I explained the symptoms, he thought it might be my Nest thermostat that I had installed a few years ago. I told him I could replace it back to the original thermostat M&R installed 5 yrs ago. He told me to try it and call him back to let him know how it turned out and said they would send their tech out if I ran into problems, or if the fix didn't work. I replaced the Nest thermostat over the weekend and sure enough, it was the Nest giving me the problem. Furnace was immediately back to 100%!... My plan was to get the snow out my driveway monday morning and then call Tony to let him know how things turned out. When I checked my messages, Tony had already called me and left a message asking how things turned out . My opinion is this company is the Real Deal and NOT transactional. They have earned my respect and business. My suggestion to anyone who reads this is give M&R a call and continue to build a relationship with them because they really do care about their customers!!

About 10 years ago, on a cold December morning, we woke up to no heat. I called Thermo Heat, and Mark showed up within hours, and by mid-afternoon, we had a new furnace installed. Yesterday, my daughter and her husband came home from work to a 50 degree and dropping house. With temperatures expected to go to 5 below zero, I told her to quickly call Thermo Heat to have the furnace checked out. After spending 20 minutes on the phone with my son in law, walking him through possible quick fixes, Mark went to their house after 5:00 PM, found the problem, had to go home for a soldering iron, came back and had the furnace fixed and running by 8:00 PM. In between these two incidents, he's come over several other times for new hot water tanks, broken toilets, broken refrigerator water line, and has also installed another emergency furnace for my sister-in-law, saving her $500 on an estimate from another company. Nothing but good things to say about Thermo Heat. Extremely reliable , dependable, fast, reasonable prices. Back in May their employee notice a serious problem, something I would not have noticed and could have severely injured me, apparently there had been an arc. Since then…read moreI've needed their technicians to come repair it on 12/11/2024, 12/31/2024, 1/2/2025, and have had technicians from other HVAC companies (Isaac and Holbrook) come out to attempt get it working on 12/5/2024, 1/16/2025, 6/6/2025. Today (1/27/2026) we woke up to no heat once again. There are no repair companies in the area besides Chiodo (who don't seem to be able to get it working) willing to work on this unit and, based on the eror code, the the control board has failed so all I can do is replace it with a new boiler after only 3 years...would not recommend.
