Went into my local store today to pay some money into the Post office. There were 3 customers in front of me. When I got to the counter, the staff member, said next please to a customer who had joined the queue behind me.
I said excuse me, I believe I am next?
She rudely replied telling me that their customers take priority over the Post office customers, as that is their bread and butter!
So after she served the customer behind me, chatting along, as she clearly knew her, she then decided to serve me. Another customer had joined the queue and I said. "Did you not want to serve this customer before me, as they take priority to a Post office customers?" She said No! He came in the store much later and the woman she served before me, even though I was next in the queue, "had been longer in the Store" than me!
I said oh sorry I thought it was a queue systems?
She ignored me and started to count out my money, that I wanted to pay in, and barked at me the amount...YES?, which was incorrect and I said no, and corrected her.
She seemed to make up the rules on which customer should be served and not follow the normal queuing system!
Very rude with such a bad attitude!!! Won't be visiting my local store no longer, so they have lost over £20 a week of "bread and butter" from a local, regular customer!!!! read more
