The Durham Management Team (ALL of them) have been SO helpful and caring! They have been in communication and working with us for this entire journey of 6 months and our residents have been so happy with their care. I highly recommend The Durham Apartments in Edina. As a renter myself I appreciate their attention to the care of their residents.

After touring over 10 apartments, I made my mind immediately right after walking into the unit that Megan presented to me. I was very happy to see a more efficient and reasonable arranged space comparing to other apartments I have visited. The living room, bedroom and walk-in closet are a lot larger, not mention the lovely balcony, indoor swimming pool, saner, cinema room and lots of nice public space for all the residents. Finding an apartment that can meet one's expectations won't be easy! Durham Apartment has almost everything that I am looking for. I really appreciated the great help and wonderful service that Megan provided to me. It was such a pleasure working with her and her team. I am so looking forward to starting a new life at Durham Apartment in Edina, MN.

This area has great walking during the warm months. Garage is interior, underground which guarantees a warm parking spot in the winter. Management is very friendly and responsive. i have really enjoyed living here. There is a very active (100+) Facebook group for the residents so we always know what's going on. Pool: 17 Meters Gym: 6am-10pm Indoor hot tub They've got a couple of party suites that can be rented for parties plus four BBQ grille kitchens on the pool deck. North side has views downtown to Minneapolis. Interior views look into the pool deck.

Although it is always a plus to have incredible neighbors, it doesn't make up for the living conditions! This residence has many faults! We experienced so many issues in the first few months at Aria, that it ended up effecting our entire experience here. We first moved in on September 1st and some of the amenities that were most important to us, were still incomplete, like the dog oasis! We found out we had a gas leak about a month after moving into our apartment! Our hallway on a daily basis smelt like weed and over-powered our unit! We also had many small issues, such as tub cracks, wall cracks, water pressure issues, and our door never fit correctly, which let in an unwelcoming amount of noise! Some of these issues many units experienced! It was such a disappointment to experience these type of issues, especially when we had such high hopes for Aria! We feel as though it was rushed to be completed and due to the rush, many of there standards fell short! We even had blue tape on cupboards and walls where they were damaged or had issues and were not fixed before we moved in! We have decided it's best to cut our lease short and pay the penalties to get out and move past this unfortunate situation!

Novo Apartments - Pool

Novo Apartments

Novo was the last of a dozen apartments I visited in the Twin Cities (out of dozens considered)…read more The location just east of Southdale Mall and west of I-35W on the Richfield-Edina border is ideal in my opinion. I was surprised at the relatively low occupancy level here, especially compared to how few apartments are listed as available at all of the other places I considered. It could be because of new management taking over back in 2021. The cost of the larger 1BR units seemed very attractive. The building itself is of a more modern decor. A small pool (and a putting green!) are positioned on the interior of the U-shaped building, with a common room and fitness center on the first floor facing the pool. Oh, and they have a lovely virtual golf simulator available on a first come basis! Assigned underground parking spots and *huge* storage lockers are available at a reasonably monthly cost. There were numerous 1BR floor plans to consider, ranging from 600 to almost 1000 square feet. Units facing the interior would likely get noise from the pool area and service vehicles. If I had selected this facility I would have opted for a unit facing north onto a quiet residential street. The east-facing units overlook a strip mall and parking lot, while the south-facing units overlook 66th Street and seem like they would be harder to keep cool in the summer. While I cannot provide a long-term review of Novo, I encourage folks to check them out as part of their search.

Everything was handled over the phone and when I got there everything was better than advertised. I had a few minor issues pop up initially and the staff responded timely and efficiently. Rueben, one of the maintenance men, did a great job taking care of one of them and the maintenance supervisor is taking care of the other. I cannot state how responsive their team is. Location and amenities on site as well in the area are fantastic. You will want to live here too if you visit. Thanks Shelby, Heather, Jan and team! Grateful! John C

The main thing this apartment has (HAD) going for it is the location. It's so close to so many…read morefabulous things. However with the massive construction right next door, along with the issues that the management won't address, this apartment complex is one I cannot recommend. My husband and I lived in this apartment for 3.5 months over the summer. Here are the things I would be cautious of. 1. This apartment is now 10ish years old and is definitely showing its age. We were without a washer for 10 days (ours broke) until a new one was installed. The common area was without air-conditioning when I had an event with friends due to the thermostat being out of order. Our bedroom carpeting was old/dirty when we moved in AND i was charged $80 for cleaning when we moved out, despite showing photos of how dirty it was the day we moved it. I asked for a credit of the $80 and was refused. We literally lived there 3.5 months... no way we dirtied the carpet to the tune of $80 2. The pool didn't open until the middle of June due to maintenance issues. 3. The coffee machine which they always show on the tour worked maybe 10% of the time that I tried it. 4. I paid over $200 to reserve the party room and the management team couldn't be bothered to put up a sign indicating to the rest of the residents that the room was reserved .... or ensure the kitchen area was clean and garbages empty. 4. Importantly, there is a massive construction project next door that is heard very very loudly throughout the entire building. The noise makes the pool / grill area unusable. Constant banging and beeping can be heard inside the apartment at all hours . This project is scheduled to continue for the next 3 years. There are a lot of great places to live in the Edina area.... this place isn't one of them.
