Several years ago with a renovation we had our wells re-done and enlarged. Large and nice metal…read moregrates were installed but leaves and critters (birds, frogs and rabbits) continued falling in and I'd have to rescue. Looking at various big box stores and doing online searches, there were no good options. Nothing was exact size and almost everything looked cheap. Fortunately through a marketing flyer in the mail I came across Well Covered. They (Vic and Oscar) were very responsive. Based on providing rough size dimensions they provided me a quote that was very reasonable. After agreeing to the estimate, they came out and cut all 4 plastic covers to the exact dimensions of each grate. The covering is high quality and they attach each with screws and clips. Super professional look on top of our nice grates, plus they even cleaned out the existing debris (and more frogs!) while they were at it. Don't even waste your time looking at big box stores or online if you are looking for quality well covers at a fair price. Go straight to Well Covered, you will be glad you did.

Nice people, but the way they conduct business is not centralized. One person doesn't talk to the…read moreother or they send you to somebody else. For one set of windows, I got a written estimate and for another project it was verbal. When the written estimate was higher than I expected, I tried to cancel the verbal, smaller project and Joel wasn't very happy about it. But Steve, his manager was very good. I wouldn't say not to use them, but just make sure you get everything you need to make you comfortable with going forward with the project. Again, I wish they would have a single point of contact - one person, one project and better communicate internally what needs to be done. especially when they don't return phone calls.

We had an excellent experience with Window World of Joliet and highly recommend their services…read more From the very beginning, the Sales Manager Zach was outstanding. He was kind, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and took the time to explain every option we were interested in. He patiently answered all of our questions and was always reachable. We stayed in close contact throughout the entire process -- from the initial consultation, to accepting the offer, ordering, production, and all the way through installation. That level of communication made the whole experience stress-free and transparent. The windows themselves are excellent quality, solid, well-made, and energy-efficient, all offered at a very affordable price. We truly felt we received great value for the investment. The installation crew was absolutely fantastic. Over the course of 2.5 days, they installed 24 windows, one front door, and one garage entry door. The team arrived on time every day and worked with impressive efficiency and precision. They were incredibly organized, well-coordinated, and clearly experienced -- working in perfect sync from start to finish. The job was done quickly, reliably, and with great attention to detail. The final results look amazing and exceeded our expectations. A big thank you to Zach and the entire Window World of Joliet team. We are extremely happy with our new windows and doors and highly recommend their services to anyone looking for high-quality products at a fair price with excellent customer service.

Note: This is a copy and paste from my Google review…read more Thus far my experience with window world has been a mixed bag. While initially they were very communicative and proactive, once I submitted my 50% deposit, I feel like the company has almost ghosted me. No one ever called to inform me that my windows were in. I had to call after almost a month and a half to get a status update and lo and behold my windows happened to be in and I was able to schedule only after I called. Then, only a couple of days later I get a call from Paul while I'm in a work meeting that they need to reschedule. We have young, reactive dogs and need to make arrangements for them to be out of the house during installation so rescheduling for us isn't as simple as picking another day. I call back shortly after and left a voicemail of my own for Paul. Almost 4 hours went by without a response and considering there is a holiday weekend and only a couple of days until my scheduled appointment, I had to call back yet again. Over the last month, I have called the main line of Window World over 10 times and I've only spoken to a live person twice. Also, their text communication service wasn't working this week either, making this even more frustrating. Update: The poor communication continued right up to installation day. The day before my 8-10am appointment window I called at 3:30pm to make sure I would receive a phone call when the crew was on their way. This is important so that we could get our dogs over to a friend's house before arrival. I was assured I would get a call 15 minutes before the crew would arrive. I never received the promised call; the crew just showed up and rang the doorbell, leading to a chaotic situation my wife and I had to deal with that should have never happened. I cannot believe how many times I as the customer, have had to call this company to get anything accomplished. I'm beyond disappointed with how I've been treated as a customer since I paid my 50% deposit.
