I took the Pistol Permit class today with Giuseppe. It was a very disappointing experience. Not only did he handle the weapons quickly so that we couldn't tell what he was doing, he didn't give us an opportunity to handle the guns during class like other people who took classes elsewhere. He was sloppy in his teaching except for the warning to be careful to keep your finger off the trigger. For the range part of the course, we were supposed to have to full magazines, but I only had about 6 cartridges in each magazine. He didn't give much explanation, and didn't reiterate about how to aim. I had maybe 3 minutes with a gun in my hand. I do not feel prepared to handle a weapon, and I will need to take another introductory class. I wish I could get a refund, but I doubt that they would do it. I'm sure it isn't refundable. Do not take your Pistol Permit here unless you already are quite familiar with guns, the law, and shooting. They also had a representative from USCAA trying to sell us insurance for at least 10 min which took away time from the class. read more
