Brooke is a great teacher. Very experienced and knowledgeable with a wonderful teaching style. She makes one feel comfortable and at ease while going through a lot of information. You definitely learn about the safe and proper use of guns and shooting. I totally recommend her school! read more

Brooke provides the best, comprehensive and patient instruction I have ever had. She took me from a fearful person in regards to firearms and helped to transform me into a confident firearms owner who now loves to compete in action shooting competitions. A Great Start Shooting School is a great place to get started with your hand gun education. Do you have your pistol permit and need help choosing your 1st gun? Do you want to build your confidence with your firearms handing? Ready to get into competition? Still need your permit class? We offer all this and more.

History

Established in 2014.

As a mom with two small children I knew I needed training to make sure that I had the education to keep my kids safe. My education turned into a hobby. My hobby grew my confidence. My confidence made me passionate about sharing my knowledge with others. I opened my school to help people become safe and confident with firearms handling.

Meet the Business Owner: Brooke C.

I am currently a sponsored competitor in the shooting sports. Current Certifications are held as an IDPA Safety Officer, NRA Pistol Trainer and Training Counselor. I am a member of A Girl & A Gun, USPSA, IDPA, and multiple gun clubs. I have gone from clueless to confident over the last 12 years of training all across the nation. I have enjoyed training with many world class competitors and amazing tactical trainers. I know we don't all have the time to travel, so my hope is to bring what I learn, locally to you in smaller bites that are tailored to your needs.
