The manager Dave is great and the employees too. I pulled a 280$ card. I'm trying to get the discord so if anybody knows please tell me.

We had the unfortunate idea to grab some food here as we enjoyed some games (btw it's $15 a person to play indefinitely as long as they have space for your group). We ordered the burger, chicken sandwich, Cajun fries, hummus and pita and tater tots. For such a spacious location, they must have a play kitchen because most of the food was inedible. The "best" thing about my chicken sandwich (three tenders- was not even a patty) was the brioche bread. The "best" thing about the hummus was the pita. My friend took two bites of the burger and felt sick. We thought we had been pranked but felt sad about throwing so much food away. Just don't do it. I don't want to think about this food ever again. If you must, apparently the coffee was good and they have other drinks and pastries (which they hopefully outsource!).

Not the metalheads, not the nerds, not the weirdos, just 1 kid on my block - he was peculiar so I called him Dark Mark. Quite befitting a player was he as the Satanic Panic of '83 was just upon the horizon. You just needed to point and Mark would start marching forward. Turns out you need more than two players and a Dungeon Master so dark Mark and I marveled at the dice and bought figurines and watched everything D&D available. Monsters and Mazes was just released, I think it was Tom Hanks first film, did anyone see it? Then there was the Saturday morning cartoon, it lasted 4 seasons because the kids couldn't get home, apparently they couldn't leave the amusement park. Now 2026 I am both Dungeon Master and player character in our campaign The Lost Mines of Phandalver. The name is Goreville Van Dungeon and I've amassed me Fellowship of a Rogue, a second human fighter, a Cleric and a high elf Wizard. We've battled many foes, obtained many magical potients and golf and it all started by the purchase of The Players Handbook at Hex and Co. We read it together, Althea and I that is. We bought coffee and 20 sided dice and wrote our spells and new adventures. So it's never too late to enjoy RPG's with imaginative friends at any age! Hex and Co. had many other games and accessories so please give them a try. Enjoy the Superbowl y'all.

The guys working here are very friendly and entertaining, and seem to care a lot about guests having fun and asked us for feedback near the end as well. Parts of the rooms do seem a bit dated, and there were certain puzzles that did not make much sense to us even after we solved them. That being said, I think overall they were well thought out and enjoyable to work through. I'm still not sure which room I enjoyed more. I think the laboratory had more interesting puzzles to me, and the penitentiary had a lot of moving parts/puzzles that made it a bit confusing in terms of chronology, but that's a part of the fun of a lot of escape rooms. I would come again if I'm in the area, and look forward to future improvements under the new ownership.

The escape rooms here at OMEscape are very fun, challenging, and a unique activity for a night out. You get 70 minutes to try to escape, and are able to ask for hints if you get stuck. This is one of the more intricate escape rooms that I have done, with unique puzzles that you probably have never seen before. Matt is very funny and plays a good character, and definitely makes the escape room experience way more enjoyable. The price is very worth it as you get 70 mins to escape, while most other rooms I've seen only give 60. There are multiple different rooms to try, so I know if I come back I will get an entirely new experience. Looking forward to coming back here when in NYC!

I love board game cafes! So I was excited to try out this place after finding it listed on two…read moredifferent NYC blogs. First, if you're planning to come here on the weekend, RESERVE YOUR SPOT ONLINE AHEAD OF TIME!!! And I'll tell you why... My friends and I decided on Friday afternoon that we wanted to come here the next day (Saturday). Me, being the planning-type person that I am, immediately hopped onto their website. I found a tab for "reservations", so I checked it out as I had a feeling that they might be pretty busy on the weekend. Sure enough, for our group of 6, they only had availability between 11am and 4:45pm or at 9pm. That was it! We were hoping for an evening slot, but we all decided to settle on the 4:45pm slot and just go have dinner afterwards. Before continuing, it's important to note that each person pays $17 for unlimited use of the board games for a 3-hour duration. When booking online, you have to pay for the entire group's "game time pay" up front in order to get the reservation. So, since it was 6 of us, I went ahead and paid $102 to secure our spot. **They are clear that they do NOT do refunds so make sure you can actually make the time slot you are booking!! Upon arrival, we gave them my name and they showed us to our reserved table. They gave us some quick instructions on what to do with the games when we were done with them, then they left us to have fun! So why is a reservation important? Because I can't tell you how many people we watched get turned away because they showed up and the place was already at max capacity! Our table happened to be right in front of both the door and the counter, so we watched a constant flow of people walk in and then immediately walk back out. Another important thing to note is that they don't allow outside food or drinks, but they also don't serve food... They have coffee drinks available to order as well as a few smoothie options and bottled/canned beverages. Additionally, they had some bagged chips and a few pastries, but that was it. So if you book a slot during dinner or lunchtime, you might want to ensure you eat beforehand as you won't be eating a meal here. The setup inside was a little chaotic. Very crowded with little space between the tables. Also, the staff seemed to not really care to want to be there. They weren't really attentive to the patrons there nor to each other, for that matter. At one point, the trash can was overflowing and I watched one staff member struggle with it and yelling for help but no one came to assist her... Final verdict: If you love board games, definitely come check this place out!!! Reserve your spot ahead of time and bring at least 3-5 people with you for maximum enjoyment!

So, I wasn't really sure what to expect walking into a place dedicated entirely to them, but wow, I'm officially a convert! The minute we stepped inside, the staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful. Since I'd never been to the store before, they took the time to explain exactly how everything worked, which I totally appreciated. If you're paying with cash, there's a machine right there to grab your tokens, or if you only have a card, they have an ATM or a staff member can easily help you out. Each game is around three tokens per turn. They have a fantastic selection of games and the prizes including adorable plushies, cool little wallets, fun socks, keychains, and more. But here's the feature that really made my day: if you actually win a prize, you have the option to trade it out for another prize that's in that specific machine! It removes all the guesswork and guarantees you walk away with something you genuinely love. I ended up walking away with several prizes, and honestly, it was so much fun! It totally unlocked my inner kid. If you're looking for a great, cheerful way to spend an afternoon or evening, I loved coming here and I'd happily come back again any time. Five stars!
