I've been using acupuncture for more than 40 years and have been treated by many practitioners over the decades. After a total knee replacement in May 2025, I continued to experience daily pain, especially at night. For 15 months, I accepted that pain as my new normal. Then I had a treatment with Dr. Mackenzie. For the first time in 15 months, I was completely pain-free. It felt nothing short of miraculous. More than a week later, the pain is still gone. Waking up without pain and sleeping through the night has been life-changing, and every day I find myself grateful for the relief. I also saw Dr. Mackenzie for a migraine. In my past experience, acupuncture would ease the pain during the treatment and perhaps for a couple of hours afterward, but the migraine would always return. This time it didn't. The migraine was gone and stayed gone. Dr. Mackenzie combines deep knowledge, skill, and genuine compassion. Her treatments have produced results that exceeded anything I thought possible. If you're considering acupuncture for pain relief or migraines, I wholeheartedly recommend her. Finding Dr. Mackenzie has made a tremendous difference in my quality of life.

What a lucky find! Jyoti is great in what she does - she truly cares about her patients, is personable, very knowledgeable, and her acupuncture is both gentle and very effective. Her office is an oasis of calm, breathing serenity and peace - a great place for a busy mom like me to come rebalance (and even take a great nap while the needles are doing their work!) . She helped me both with stress issues and with pain in my hands. I was also pleased to find that she uses common sense in respect to client privacy (in contrast to some more aggressive providers in our area.) The only downside for some might be that she does not take credit cards - only check or cash. But that is a very minor thing. Overall, highly recommended!
