Our 3 bedroom room is beautiful and so comfortable! I would add more lighting in the bathroom it's a bit dark. Only negative of the trip was that I ordered in room dining and the chicken was raw in the center. The food has been amazing other than that. The macadamia ice cream Sandwiches at the pool are a must! The lolokoi and mango smoothies at the pool made me so happy!

Breakfast service was noticeably slower, and some of the thoughtful touches we appreciated before -- like the kids club activities and special gestures -- are no longer available. The live music at the pool is also gone, which definitely changes the atmosphere. Pool service was inconsistent as well; we had to flag someone down just to order drinks, and even then the wait was quite long. On the positive side, it was great to see familiar faces still here. Eric is still around the pool and remains as welcoming as ever. The woman who served us at breakfast was lovely and had a wonderful smile, and Jenny at the spa is still here too -- she continues to be fantastic. We'll see how the full transition unfolds over the next 15-18 months.

Mahalo Christian 10/10! Quesadilla was tasty and the accompanying salsa was excellent. Mai Tai en point. Happy they served non alcoholic beers too. The French fries were delish, crispy and salty, just what you want in the heat after a swim. Use the chair tag QR code to view the menu and ask Christian to place your order. We loved the swimming pools, especially sitting under the waterfall to get a free shoulder massage, then alternating with the hot spa for a back massage. The hot then cold combo is great for the muscles. Towels are free, along with suntan cream so make sure you use them. There were so many burned people at the pool. Love the Ritz pools, adults only areas and kiddos areas to keep everyone happy. Fantastic pools, beautifully scenic views, you really can't beat it!

The pools are beautiful, the grounds are stunning and the beach is absolutely amazing. I especially loved that the beach has full service, so you can actually relax without having to constantly get up for everything. The food was also really good and I have to give a special shoutout to the photographers. We decided to do a photo shoot while we were there and they were fantastic. If you're going to splurge on photos, I definitely think it's worth doing here. My only reason for not giving it five stars is more about the location than the resort itself. Maui has so much to see and do, and I found this side of the island to be a little windier than I would have preferred. After experiencing different parts of Maui, I think I would personally choose the Kaanapali area going forward. I found it a little more convenient for what I like to do and the overall vibe for me was just better.

My experience at this hotel was absolutely terrible. When I…read morearrived, there were construction works being carried out directly in front of my room. The noise was so intense that it was impossible to rest. I had just completed a 5.5-hour flight and was extremely exhausted, but I couldn't lie down or sleep because there was constant cutting, drilling, and loud construction noise. It was unbearable. I went outside and politely asked the workers to stop or at least move the work further away from my room, but they refused. I then started recording a video to document the situation and have evidence for a review. At that point, one of the workers approached me, began threatening me, and tried to take my phone. It was a very disturbing experience. I went to the front desk and asked them to stop the situation, but they refused to help. Yes, I raised my voice out of frustration, but instead of resolving the issue, they called the police and made it seem like I was at fault. If you are looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay, please do not choose this hotel. There is no respect for guests here -- it feels like they only care about money. I struggled to get my refund back and, after a lot of effort, I finally managed to recover my money. I did not even stay there for two hours before leaving. Honestly, when I left, I felt relieved and happy knowing I would never return to this place again. As for the rooms, there was a very strong smell of mold. I did not see visible mold, but the odor was overwhelming the moment I opened the door. The photos make the rooms look spacious, modern, and well-maintained, but in reality, they are small, worn out, and the furniture looks old and used. That moldy smell is something I will never forget.

Napili Sunset was great for a short trip. The one and two bedroom apartments are literally steps from the ocean. Walk down the path to the protected Napili Beach to enjoy the gentle waves, green sea turtles and the golden sand between your toes. Grab a boogie board or noodle to borrow for the afternoon. Snorkeling gear is available if you didn't bring your own. Beautiful coral reefs with so many colorful fish. Stroll along the ocean and enjoy a sky filled with stars at night. Enjoy the garden landscaped with giant hibiscus and palm trees. Gabriel was so nice when he checked us into the room. Love the waterproof wristbands which serve as keys. Thanks for the tips to book a last minute early morning whale watching cruise. Amazing to see hundreds of whales including baby whales learning to breach. The room was simple but cute for a weekend beach stay. Fully stocked kitchen available. Oversized balcony with a peekaboo view of the ocean overlooking the pool and garden. Even binoculars were available for whale watching. Nice perks also included free parking, good WiFi and no resort fees. Fresh towels are available at the office. Studios have air conditioning, but ocean view rooms do not. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great stay at Napili Bay Beach.

It's the kind of spot that doesn't shout for attention--it just exists in harmony with the ocean, the trade winds, and the rhythm of a life that's beautifully unhurried. Mornings here feel sacred. The scent of plumeria, the hush of early waves, and that first cup of Kona coffee sipped barefoot on your lanai--it's a reminder that life's simplest pleasures are often its best. You look out over Napili Bay, see turtles gliding through turquoise water, and realize there's no need for anything more extravagant. What makes this place special, beyond the postcard view, is its soul. There's an unmistakable ohana spirit that threads through everything--the kind that makes strangers smile at you, that makes staff remember your name. Pauline deserves a standing ovation--responsive, gracious, and the kind of person who seems to anticipate your needs before you even voice them. The team here doesn't just manage a property; they curate a feeling. Napili Surf isn't the cheapest stay on the island--but that's missing the point. It's value in its truest form: authenticity, serenity, and the sense you've stumbled upon something quietly extraordinary. No marble lobbies, no pretension--just barefoot luxury, Maui-style. If you know, you know.

Then upon arriving find the pillows and sheets another bonus until it was time to go to sleep and discovering the sofabed was not functional or usable as a bed at all. I was still very disappointed by the customer service that I received and the tone of voice that was used to me when I asked the question about using the sofabed. They were accommodating and had a rollaway bed delivered the next day. I met Mike who is on the management team here at Kahana Village and explained what had happened the prior night from the woman who answered the phone. Thank you to Mike I am still disappointed by the sofabed issue but I am able to focus more on the positive aspects of the place. The location is about 6 miles North of Lahaina and in a small resort area. It is a little outdated but safe and comfortable. The amenities are the pool area which includes a gazebo with ice machines and it comes with Beach chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards and a cooler for the beach adventures. There are a couple restaurants and bars that are walking distance from the complex. I am eating it somewhere between and 3.5-4.0 and rounding up because Mike was such a nice person and made the rest of the vacation for me.

Napili Point…read morehas everything we look for when we come to Maui: it's quiet, has wonderful snorkeling literally right outside your door, helpful and kind staff, kitchen with amenities, view....and some of the best prices on the island for ocean front properties with kitchens. We were in a 1 BR + loft unit on the second floor in Napili. This was needed due to our group arrangements (two teen boys, two adults). The boys slept in the twin beds in our back bedroom, we slept upstairs in the loft with a gorgeous view out onto Honokeana Cove. We could watch sunsets from our balcony and it was an easy walk to the barbecues on the grass area of the lower levels or to the pool(s). We've also stayed in the lower 1br units and they're equally perfect. Donna will help you figure out what you need and get it all booked for you. We rented snorkel gear for the week at the shop in the parking lot next door, which makes it so easy for returns when you're done. Their prices seem comparable to the other chains on the island and they were really helpful in picking out the best size fins for my in-between feet. I highly recommend getting a float belt so you can just float without even thinking about it while snorkeling. We went out in the bay at least three times a day to swim with turtles, fish, octopus, eels...just amazing. Be sure to use the defog that the shop gives you with your rental! We stock up on groceries at costco and the market and then cook almost all our meals in the condo. The kitchen is well stocked with every utensil we would've wanted (except maybe a digital meat thermometer for the time we grilled steaks!) If you do like to eat out, Napili Point is located close to lots of great spots... The beds in our unit were really comfortable, the towels nice and fluffy, the furniture is tasteful and clean and the unit was well-updated. All in all, another perfect stay. Donna gave us her Local Girl's Guide to Maui to take with us to Maui. It's packed with unique recommendations - not the kind you find on the message boards or the tour books - lots of great tips.
