My experience at this hotel was absolutely terrible. When I arrived, there were construction works being carried out directly in front of my room. The noise was so intense that it was impossible to rest. I had just completed a 5.5-hour flight and was extremely exhausted, but I couldn't lie down or sleep because there was constant cutting, drilling, and loud construction noise. It was unbearable. I went outside and politely asked the workers to stop or at least move the work further away from my room, but they refused. I then started recording a video to document the situation and have evidence for a review. At that point, one of the workers approached me, began threatening me, and tried to take my phone. It was a very disturbing experience. I went to the front desk and asked them to stop the situation, but they refused to help. Yes, I raised my voice out of frustration, but instead of resolving the issue, they called the police and made it seem like I was at fault. If you are looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay, please do not choose this hotel. There is no respect for guests here -- it feels like they only care about money. I struggled to get my refund back and, after a lot of effort, I finally managed to recover my money. I did not even stay there for two hours before leaving. Honestly, when I left, I felt relieved and happy knowing I would never return to this place again. As for the rooms, there was a very strong smell of mold. I did not see visible mold, but the odor was overwhelming the moment I opened the door. The photos make the rooms look spacious, modern, and well-maintained, but in reality, they are small, worn out, and the furniture looks old and used. Golden sand, turquoise water and magical sunsets. Napili Sunset was perfect for a couple of days in Maui. Finding a reasonably priced hotel along the beach in Maui can be a challenge. Napili Sunset was great for a short trip. The one and two bedroom apartments are literally steps from the ocean. Walk down the path to the protected Napili Beach to enjoy the gentle waves, green sea turtles and the golden sand between your toes. Grab a boogie board or noodle to borrow for the afternoon. Snorkeling gear is available if you didn't bring your own. Beautiful coral reefs with so many colorful fish. Stroll along the ocean and enjoy a sky filled with stars at night. Enjoy the garden landscaped with giant hibiscus and palm trees. Gabriel was so nice when he checked us into the room. Love the waterproof wristbands which serve as keys. Thanks for the tips to book a last minute early morning whale watching cruise. Amazing to see hundreds of whales including baby whales learning to breach. The room was simple but cute for a weekend beach stay. Fully stocked kitchen available. Oversized balcony with a peekaboo view of the ocean overlooking the pool and garden. Even binoculars were available for whale watching. Nice perks also included free parking, good WiFi and no resort fees. Fresh towels are available at the office. Decided to celebrate my 60th with a staycation in Maui at Napili Sunset. Reservations--quick and easy with Frederick. Very personable Checkin was ok. Napali Sunset is an older hotel but theres some remodeling being done. Prime location. I noticed that there was no AC. I called the front desk, she said the ocean view units has no AC. Units overlooking garden has AC. (Keep that in mind AC or oceanview). In a few minutes I receive a call back. Napili Sunset has a few portable AC units and they found one available for ME. We stayed over night here and I was unexpectedly please with these accommodations. We got in late so we were informed of the processes to get the door sensor from the lock box located in front of the office. The room was very spacious and clean. Everything inside looked new and it was better than I expected for the price. We had a king size bed and a fold out for me. The room comes with a full size refrigerator, flat screen TV, rotating fan, nice view of swimming pool and garden. The bathroom come with amenities and a walk in shower. Everything was good about this place. Staff is nice also. Very pleased with the price as well. read more

Napili Sunset are 2 story condo buildings. Napili Cove resorts and condos are all low profile buildings that really adds to the charm.I have only stayed in the beach front units, which I recommend, but friends have stayed in the garden/pool units that are very reasonably priced for Maui and you are just behind the beach front building and a little access road. I can see in the future our group booking both condo types for our trips. The grounds are nicely maintained. There is housekeeping service, but I don't know what the current status of that is post-covid. Our recent trip was enjoyable in an upstairs loft. There is a downstairs bedroom, 2 baths (up & down) 2 twins in the loft and I think the sofa can be a foldout. We were perfectly comfortable without air conditioning. The lanai looks over Napili Bay and we spent a lot of time there from coffee to evening drinks and meals in between. The kitchen is fully stocked. We enjoy eating out and having the option of cooking meals in. Napili Bay is exceptional. We didn't use the pool this time spending each day in the ocean. We just walked to the lawn, left our towels, which they provide, then a few yards right down to the beach. Its pretty amazing, really. Staying in a decently priced condo beachfront is really a perfect Hawaiian vacation. That is why we return to Napili Sunset. read more

Definitely a more affordable option on the napili bay. The "pool and garden" views are across a small road but we didn't mind at all. Less than 1 min to walk to the beach. Grilling facilities and lawn area by the beach are a great option to escape the sand a bit. Staff was friendly and room service is provided by request every 3rd day of stay. Rooms were spotless. My only down fall would be that the AC was not turned on when we got there so it was like 80 degrees in our room on arrival. Thankfully only took about a day to bring it down, but it would have been nicer to start a bit cooler. read more

After staying in time shares for a week my husband and I needed a room for one night we remembered loving the snorkeling in-front Napili sunsets. We got lucky enough to get a room on the water here walking up and walking on to the beach was so lovely. The bed was the best I've laid in on the island. You can tell they try to make you comfortable they had shampoo, lotion, coffee, beach towels, a air conditioner in the bed room. The room was cute it was decorated like a home would be. This is a nice resort that has three buildings. Two buildings are on the beach and seem to have larger rooms, but the third building is across the road with smaller accomodations. The room we were assigned was across the road. The main bed in that room was a Murphy bed (folds into the wall). I don't believe the bed is operable for folding up, but the hotel has left the walls around the bed (see photo). This prevents having a nightstand or lamp needed for phones, clocks and CPAP. Uncomfortable situation. That structure around the beds should be removed as they have no function. The description I received from the booking agency stated the room had a queen bed and a fold up bed... totally wrong and misleading. On a positive note, the bedding was comfortable. It had full kitchen with absolutely all appliances and kitchenware you can think of. Also, very spacious bedrooms and bathrooms with two big balconies that face the ocean. Everything in the apartment is very neat and clean. The Staff of the resort was extremely helpful and accommodating, but without annoying pretentiousness, which is common in other resorts. Stayed here in a studio. It was a great location across the street from the beach. Studios are along the pool so get a bit noisy. Also, someone decided to go swimming at 11:00pm and no one stopped them. Loud and no way to lock up the area from late night swimmers. Would stay here again though. read more

We discovered this place by accident more than 20 years ago and have been coming back ever since. If you stay in one of the two front buildings, the beach of Napili Bay s 50 feet from your room. If you stay in the back building (which is considerably cheaper), the beach is across an alley, but the back building is air conditioned; the front building is not, although the front desk indicated it's coming. I'm not sure it's necessary, with the ocean breeze coming through the screen door all night. One year, we put our sons in one of the back rooms, and they used that room only for sleeping, hanging out in our front room during the day. Napili Bay is less crowded than the beaches elsewhere in Maui, so it's almost like having your own private beach. Though less modern than some other hotels it has all the amenities, including full kitchens in every suite, and free parking, and the place is kept spotless. There are gas grills you can use for free and a pool next to the back building. Washers are $1.50 a load, and dryers are $1 a load. The staff is friendly and helpful. Each room has its own wifi router right on the premises, so you can boot it when it acts up, which does happen on occasion. Cell phone reception, at least for AT&T is almost non-existent. It fades in on occasion for text messages but can't be used for calling. All told, you get a lot for your money, which is why we keep coming back. read more

A bit dated (at least my unit), but this place far surpasses the touristy hotel/resort part of the island. Napili Sunset didn't need all the amenities of a hotel to make this experience a lasting one. The water is calmer in the bay and the area is much less crowded. Even the locals will respect you more if you're staying in Napili, as they know this is where seasoned visitors or semi-permanent guests usually stay, and not the newbie tourists. The oceanfront units are what makes this place amazing, so don't skimp and take the poolside ones. Pay for the ocean. You're in MAUI. Drinking coffee on your lanai in the morning while watching the sunrise is worth it. Plus, in the spirit of Maui, we saw a full rainbow across the bay not once, but twice. read more

This is now our favorite place to stay when visiting Maui. Last time we were at the Kea Lani - a lovely upscale resort but it doesn't even come close to comparing to the Napili Sunset Beachfront Resort. We had a beautiful 2 bedroom ground floor unit which made walking out onto the patio and grass area just delightful. I see questions about upstairs or downstairs - honestly it's probably just a personal preference. While we were extremely happy with the downstairs unit, I read reviews stating how beautiful the views are and the great ocean breezes from the upstairs unit. Either way you can't go wrong. This was probably the most comfortable and relaxing place we have ever stayed on vacation - the only downside is that we only planned 3 days here before moving on to Oahu. I am getting ready to book for next summer as this is now our go-to place on Maui. The staff was also amazing - so gracious whenever you needed something. read more

Amazing location! Laid back atmosphere! Great Aloha attitude from staff and locals. Love it way better than the big resorts. Napili Cove is a beauty with great snorkeling and protected water. The beach is a little steep into the water but only geezers will care. The property itself is not swank but it is very clean and has everything you need. We stayed in a beachfront one bedroom on the lower level which I highly recommend due to the nice patios that open up onto a beautiful green lawn overlooking the cove. You are literally steps away from the sand and with a fully equipped kitchen, boat drinks are close at hand! It's better than staying at a hotel since the ocean is just steps away from this beachfront location. Their front counter staff are great and helped me send some things back to the mainland. If it's your first time in Maui I would recommend this place for families since the waters are still and no high surf when we went there in August. The only surfers we saw were paddleboarding. 02/02 She then decided to go on a 20 minute tangent about Emily breaching quarantine, and said that the security footage "may or may not" be sent to the authorities. This seemed like a threat. Briane also stated that other hotel guests were aware of Emily's quarantine status, and said the guests passed by the until and looked inside and didn't see anyone and were alarmed because they knew someone was supposed to be inside. I told Briane that was a huge invasion of privacy and I didn't feel safe that other hotel guests were doing quarantine "check-ins" on Emily by peering into our ground floor unit. Briane also said that other hotel guests spoke the same language as Emily and they are informing the hotel staff about conversations our party was having. I was so confused by the information, because Briane didn't say what was said but more so informed me of this as either a subliminal message or to "read between the lines" which didn't make any sense, only that more hotel guests were invaded my group's privacy. At this point, I was beginning to the question the legitimacy of anything Briane was saying. Briane then fought with me verbally saying Emily had to go back to the ground floor unit IMMEDIATELY, when Briane mentioned the day before that Emily could go to the second floor unit and it wouldn't be a problem. I explained that the upstairs unit was bigger (2BR) and that's where we had the groceries and did the cooking and ate our family dinner there and that's exactly what I was on my to do when she stopped me. I told Briane that Emily could go back after we finished eating and she said "no". When I confronted her and said that she told me different information the day before, she said "now I'm saying Emily's not allowed to go to the upstairs apartment." I was so upset and told Emily she needed to leave immediately since Briane was threatening our group with calling the authorities on Emily. So Emily, left back to her unit as instructed and without eating. After this unfortunate situation happened, Briane texted our group later and said Emily was approved to be upstairs. But again, the damage had been done and Emily and her three year old son were shunned away from the other 8 members of our group despite not being a liability and having a negative covid test. This created a major divide among our group. It was nonstop bombardment the rest of the trip and our group eventually couldn't handle the texts/calls/visits so we decided to not respond as that was essential for sustaining our mental health and the enjoyment of our first trip to Hawaii. After this became so unbearable for Emily and her three year old son, she decided it was best for herself and her child to leave. It was a painful decision, but that was our only choice. The morning she left, I got a panicked call from one of the members of our group saying the authorities arrived because a hotel staff member notified them (most likely Briane) and the authorities were asking several questions about Emily's whereabouts and the Covid test results of the others in our party. Keep in mind, Emily had a negative Covid test but was the only person in our group that needed to quarantine. After Emily left it was unfortunately a sense of relief to everyone but that's only because the hotel staff (Briane namely) made our stay intolerable. But even with Emily gone, we still received texts and calls regarding different policies and our group was never given peace or any time to relax. It was impossible to be on the premises and be at ease. We didn't get to enjoy one day due to repeat information being drilled down to our group. We did not feel welcome at Napili Sunset and none of us will not return to the hotel again. It seemed our group was an inconvenience to the hotel when we were simply trying to enjoy a quality holiday in Hawaii and the staff had taken that from us due to the overload in stress. Even on the very last morning, after receiving approval for a one-hour late checkout (12:00pm), we were notified and said we needed to be out by 11:00am the standard checkout time because the hotel had "something to do in our unit". I explained we made plans to go to the beach since we were given the extension, and the staff member negotiated and told us we can have a 30 minute grace period. I accepted that, just so we didn't waste anymore time. By the time we got to the beach, we got a text from the front desk saying we had to be out of the unit before 11:00am. I was in disbelief. I immediately texted back and said we were just given a 39 minute extension from the manager. The hotel staff responded and said it was an automated message but failed to apologize for the added frustration. And that was the lasting impression this hotel made on our entire group's first trip to Hawaii. read more

One of the most amazing views I have ever seen in my life. Beautiful and breathtaking to say the least. We had a great stay and the beach was awesome too! Got a lot of great pictures just from our patio alone! The only downfall was the pull out beds. I don't expect much from pull out beds but these were just horrific. Cardboard would've been better and less squeaky too. You couldn't even move a toe on those suckers without it sounding like a chihuahua attacking a chew toy. With that being said though, everything else was amazing and it was kept up nice and clean. Would stay there again in a heart beat. (Even if it meant sleeping on the pull out couch). read more

The hotel did not honor our requests for a ground floor unit. We were given an upstairs unit that required us to haul all of our beach gear up and down stairs every day, sometimes needing to take multiple trips. The upstairs units have a small balcony (ours was in direct sun), while the lower units have a large lanai big enough for outdoor dining and all of your beach gear. In the unit, there was only a mobile air conditioner in the bedroom. The living area, kitchen, and bathroom were unbearably hot. It was so hot at night that my children could not sleep because they were on the pull-out sofa in the living room with no AC, in an upstairs unit where it was hot all the time. There were ants in the kitchen and bathroom. The ants got into our food, requiring us to throw out newly purchased food. We had to store food in the microwave and refrigerator (which dried out many of our baked goods). When we requested fresh towels, the wet dirty towels were left behind in our unit. The pool hours are not posted in the pool area or entrance to the pool area. It closes at 8pm. If you stay past that time, the hotel sends you a warning text message. While the area was beautiful, be aware that it is about 20 minutes to most restaurants, which is outside of most delivery areas to the hotel. read more

We went to Maui in April 2019. It was sort of a bucket list trip. Quite by accident we discovered the Nipili Sunset Beach resort. Wow! We had an ocean view room. A fully situated condominium with a large full kitchen and a separate king size bed room. The staff were amazing to work with. And all of the Filipino women who were attending to us were delightful. The swimming pool was a disappointment in that it was tiny. But we had access to the open sea and it happened to be a part of the coastline with a natural coral reef there for snorkeling was a premium activity. We love the Nipili marketplace that we had to drive to and had everything we needed. There was a wonderful coffee shop there too. All in all I highly recommend this place to others because it's in an amazing location! I would go back there in a heartbeat. In fact I left a bit of my heart there when we left. read more

Extremely disappointed. The room was clean- the staff is great. General manager lacks understanding and severe lack of leadership. The website clearly states "Bath and shower" and to our surprise and disappointment, there is no bath. We spoke to the general manager about the problem, and instead of understanding our small problem, he chose to treat us as if we were in the wrong and that there was a misunderstanding in the "terminology". I may have English as a second language, but bath means bath. I will make sure to tell all my friends and family never to come to this place EVER. I'm extremely disappointed in the manner in which our inquiry was handled. I plan on coming back to Maui frequently as this is not the first time to the islands, and I will never return to this place again. If I could leave a negative value review, I would. The beds were absolutely terrible too and they only gave us two extra pillows when we needed at least three more. Any small inquiry seemed like we were pulling teeth when we paid to be there and are not bad customers at all. I repeat: I will NOT be returning here again. read more

Awesome amenities no one can ever complain about. Stayed in the studios and beach front rooms. Beach front rooms which I do recommend for those who want the ocean sound, more space, sunset views that you will never experience anywhere else in the world. They have a Full kitchen (utensils, cooking pans, baking pans, microwave, refrigerator, lots of counter space) full living area dinner table, sofa/sleeper, drawers flat screen tv on top, desk to write, and of course the bed. Couple things I thought was highlights. 1. Cleanliness-this place not only looks clean, it actually feels clean. 2. Air Conditioning- specially summer time, we need it. 3. Bathroom- is very spacious, shower looks great. 4. Service- friendly people front desk to room services. new sheets, new towels, beach towels all the time. I recommend this place for any vacationers. Hi, I've stayed here twice before and got the ground floor poolside studio both times. Looking forward to going back for the third time in Feb '10! Its a great location (just steps to the beach) a bit of a drive (45 min+) from the main airport, but a nice drive. The place is clean and recently renovated. The only downside is the bathtubs have been replaced with walk-in shower, but very nicely done. Kitchen is great and fully stocked. There is a small store next door which is a bit pricey. Stock up at Costco near the airport or nearby grocery stores instead (if you go to the plaza near the highway be sure to check out Maui Tacos, yummy!) Also the BBQ next to the pool is great to cook up a feast! The staff are so nice I can't rave enough about them. In the basement of the poolside building is coin-laundry which was nice. They also have a little bit of things you can borrow. (Some books, sometimes coolers, boogie boards, some snorkeling gear, etc..) The beach is really nice with good snorkeling and body surfing fun. This hotel is Hawaii without the haughtiness. We were here for my sister's beach wedding in Sept. '09, and the condos couldn't have been better. Our corner ground floor unit was absolutely perfect. We were steps from the beach, and in the perfect location for nightly sunset views and shore-side star gazing. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the condo was well stocked and spotless. There's no air conditioning, and the 2nd level rooms (and upper lofts) can be sweltering--even with a fan. We were there 10 days and encountered one really warm night, but with the Hawaiian breeze made it was bearable. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel; it's no frills--all Hawaii. read more

I found this quaint Napili resort on Google after much searching. I knew I wanted to stay in Napili, I wanted to be near (but didn't necessarily want to pay to be on) the water, I wanted a reasonable price (I'm n ot cheap) and the reviews were all quite positive. The website indicated a seven night stay in a studio (perfect for the two of us) would only cost about $1,000 ($140/night). The staff is super friendly and helpful. They hooked us up with beach chairs and boogie boards. The Napili beach is literally 100 yards from our second floor balconey - which gave us a (narrow) view of the bay. The studio was better equiped than most of the 5 bedroom ski houses I've rented in Tahoe. This is a perfect, romantic get-a-way spot.and comes highly reccommended by this very romantic couple:) We are ready to book for next year already!! You will love it!! read more

This is the 2nd time for my stay in Napili Sunset. The last time was back in 1999. This is a great place for the price. They situate right on the Napili Bay Beach. The studio is big enough for 4 people with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. They have renovated the place which makes it even better. For $119/ night (excluding tax) was much better than the suite we stayed in Orlando trip ($164/ night). The owner and manager are great. They actually stay on the location and both of them are very friendly. There is a grill right next to the pool, and it is free to use. My wife love it and use it very single night. Great kitchen with all the kitchen wares you need (just don't break any plates, because it will cost you an arm and a leg). They offer free beach towels, and you can exchange them whenever you feel the towels are dirty. They have house service every day and do a good job in keeping the place clean. The heated pool is always warm and clean. I'll tell you...we'll visit this place again if it wasn't for the time share we invested!! It is worth the stay. Lovely people and really cheap for the value around it, other accommodations are really expensive and you still won't get the same quality and deal as Napili Sunset!!! read more

I cannot say enough good things about this place. 6 stars if i could. From the moment of checking in, there was the personal touch of a welcome sign in the window with my name on it! We were warmly greeted and taken care of and explained how everything worked and a quick run down of all the near by activities and shops. There was free parking, free wi-fi, a snorkel shop and convenience mart across the parking lot, private beach access... what more could one ask for? We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo room #110. Ocean front bottom floor, corner unit. I was blown away by the unit and the location and the view. I didn't want to leave. Large spacious rooms, walk in closets, his and her sinks, 2 full bathrooms, granite counter tops in the full kitchen. All appliances were available, all kitchen utensils and plates and silverware. A locking safe, full living room... it was AMAZING! the back patio lanai even had a BBQ grill and plenty of lawn chairs to enjoy the beach. Only minor gripe would be no A/C units but with the slider doors open and ocean breeze blowing in - Napili Sunset is hands down the definition of Paradise. They also have a laundry room and plenty of ocean toys (i.e. floaties, boogie boards, etc) to borrow while on the private section of the beach! Amazing views and a short walk away from The Gazebo (best breakfast spot in town!) I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this place and will definitely be staying here upon my next visit! Also the staff is awesome! Being that both my wife and I worked at Waikiki Hotels on O'ahu, we know already know great weather and beaches, however we had expectations mainly on the accommodations i.e. clean hotel room, parking, etc.. should look like and we were amazed. The bedding, kitchen, bath was well stocked. Everyone from the front desk to housekeeping was friendly and easy going. Finally, the awesome setting right on Napili Bay was WOW!! Sunset was truly special (very romantic) each night we were there. We checked in on Sunday & are thrilled with our super clean room, location, and endless amenities along with a friendly, engaging staff. AHHHMAZZINNNG is not a good enough word to perfectly describe and depict this place. This little gem of a place far exceeded my expectations. Napili Sunset was recommended to me by a friend. I checked it out online prior to booking and was impressed, but nothing prepared me for how blown away I was going to be! I would rather stay at Napili Sunset than any other fancy schmancy place. This place was down right homey, comfy, and had a very "home away from home" feeling. I stayed at Napili Sunset for approximately 5 days this past March 2015, and this was my first visit to Maui. Safe to assume that I will be coming back, and booking with Napili Sunset again!! The cleanliness of the place, the updated bathroom and kitchen, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the washer and dryer they let guests use for $1.50 each load (they provide laundry detergent and fabric softener sheets), the decor (appropriately Hawaiian), the BBQ grill for guests to use to cook your own dinners (should you chose to) far exceeded any expectations I had. The best part about this place? THE USABLE BEACH THAT WAS RIGHT OUTSIDE OF MY DOOR (we had a beachfront room)!! There are a few other hotels that are along Napili Beach, and Napili Sunset is ONE of the FEW hotels along its coast that actually had USABLE BEACH! The beach was literally steps away from our room. Napili Sunset is right across the street from a little shop that rents out SUP boards, boogie boards, surf boards, etc.., and along the same coast, a cute little restaurant that has Happy Hour 7 days a week. The location could not be any more perfect! I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Maui. The manager, Fred, is wonderful, and so is his staff! DON'T WORRY. You can still go to Maui! Not every hotel on the island will cost you an arm and a leg! After many, many Expedia searches and hours of Yelping I came across Napili Sunset. Most all of the hotels on Maui are on the beach- including Napili and were beyond my price range. The "main" city on Maui is Lahaina. Napili Sunset is just a ~10 min drive from there. Definitely worth the drive since it's a couple hundred dollars cheaper to stay here! Napili has one market, a coffee shop and only a couple of restaurants. However, the beach here is better than Lahaina. Napili sunset, along with the other Napilis are on a private section of beach that is quieter and prettier than the beaches down in Lahaina. Definitely get an ocean side view! You will be within 20ft of the beach and the balcony has a nice soft foamy flooring so you can do yoga or enjoy breakfast and drinks barefoot while you watch the waves. Out of everything I loved about Napili Sunset and about my trip in general, was the ocean view balcony. The garden side will give you a view of the pool and isn't as fun, worth the extra money! There are multiple Napili branches, all in the same area. Napili happened to be the cheapest for the dates I chose and I won't be bothering to check out others because I had such a positive stay here. The front office is only open from 9AM-11PM, if you need a late check in make sure you let them know ahead of time so they can leave the key in one of their lock boxes! Also they were extremely accomodating for me with my early check in! Each condo has a kitchen with every tool, utensil, appliance you can think of and the room itself was extremely clean. The bathroom has an amazing shower with perfect water pressure- really, really important for me! There is a water sport rental shop across the parking lot, however there is one that is a 5 minute drive away that rents them for a quarter of the price. Napili Sunset doesn't have a restaurant on location, however walk down the beach and there are 2 restaurants that are highly rated/affordable to visit. Such a sweet/quaint hotel. Loved every minute of my staycation there. Less than a minute walk to Napili Beach!

Location is ok. Though it's in the main neighborhood, there are no restaurants within half a mile. The roads are somewhat narrow and parking is tricky. The room itself is clean and the amenities we're perfect. Check-in was quick and staff were helpful. read more

This place is amazing! We were welcomed warmly by the staff and I love that they have signs with your name on it when you arrive. The condo was very cozy, had a view of the ocean and had everything we would need to make our own meals in the kitchenette. Napili Sunset will forever be a special place to us. My fiance proposed while we were in Hawaii and the Concierge service at Napili Sunset helped make it extra special. This entire trip was amazing and I know that any future trips will be hard to top. This is a wonderful place to stay and we will definitely be back. Hopefully for our first anniversary! read more

Beautiful property! We stayed in one of the one bedroom oceanfront rooms and it was fantastic! The rooms are practically ON the beach. Incredible view as well! Wonderful restaurants within walking distance including Gazebo (banana pancakes ftw!), SeaHouse and our all time favorite, Merrimans, where we enjoyed the best meal of our lives (bold claim, I know! ;)) The lack of air conditioning wasn't a big deal for us and the temperatures reached 90 a couple days. The breeze and ceiling fans somehow manage to keep it reasonably cool and comfortable inside. The only downside about not having air conditioning is that you MUST sleep with the windows open and around 7am, the parking area can get a little noisy in your bedroom. Naps can also be a challenge due to the noise. We don't have any children but our travel partners do and the baby was awoken a time or two. If that's a concern, you can request one of the upper units. We were situated on the bottom floor which I personally, loved. The rooms are a bit dated but still extremely pleasant and very nice! The pool is small but nice and very enjoyable. We were also the only people there most of the time! Overall, this property is absolutely beautiful and you can't beat the price. We stayed at a ritzier (and far more expensive) property right by the SeaHouse and I prefer Napili Sunset by a mile! read more

By far our favorite condominium in Maui!! Absolutely, the best location with ocean front access to the beach. Mica and Mae are so welcoming and accommodating to guest. Customer service was above and beyond! I can't say enough wonderful things about Napili Sunset. Plenty of parking for guest, great access to the beach, free chairs, towels, umbrellas, books and wifi. Great for families or couples. Very hospitable! We will be back. read more

The Napili Sunset is the best place to stay on Maui! The location could not be better - it is set right on the most amazing beach that you are steps away from. I had my 50th birthday party (mom's 70th) right on the grass area overlooking the beach. Monica, the concierge helped me plan an unforgettable family party with a mixologist, catered dinner, leis, photographer - everything. She also set up all my rental needs for the family and had it all ready to go once I got there. The entire staff was so helpful and friendly including the manager who made sure we all here having a good time. My kids said after "this was the best family vacation we have ever had" and we have been lots of places. read more
