I had never heard of this place since I'm new-ish to the area and so I decided to give it a shot. I meant Mr Joe Valera because I originally wanted someone to take a sample from my phone and do the music. However, we decided to do a fresh take on the Earth Wind & Fire song called Reasons. Not only was mr. Valera on time but the studio is stacious and it is set up to the point to where you feel as if you are dealing with a big Hollywood production. The microphones are on point the sound system is really on point but the most impressive thing that I witnessed was the fact that he is a really good engineer and he can do this with or without the artist being present. So the two of us sat down and we picked out the best aspects of the song and Not only was it better than usual, and it was even BETTER THAN THE ORIGINALl song!!!! I even got to add an extra instrument such as a clarinet on it! Armed with a great smile that is instantly warm and welcoming you feel as if you are among family. You will not find a better recording studio than this one. I guarantee it he is well worth the $65 an hour that he charges for certain services. Joel, the owner of One Music Studio, is professional, polished and talented. I came to One Music Studio to record my audiobook. I had never set foot in a studio before and feeling comfortable was a really important part of my decision process. One Studio is a relaxing and intimate setting without a lot of the pretension I experienced visiting other studios. Joel was very responsive through email and walked me through the process (he has worked on other audiobook projects so he knew his stuff). Once we kicked things off Joel had some good constructive feedback on how to improve my tonality and audio pick-ups when I had to rerecord a phrase. As with all projects of this nature, things inevitably take longer than expected. What I valued immensely was Joel's patience to work with me to make sure I was satisfied with the final product.
