Joel is super awesome. My son's friend was turning 7 years old and wanted to lay down a track for his big day lol. Joel was patient enough to allow two six year olds and two seven year olds to fumble around his studio and give it their best shot. It was all of their first times being able to experience time in the studio and I'm glad it was here. His prices are reasonable, he was polite, and professional. I'd definitely recommend One Music if you're looking for studio time. read more

I was in a hurry to finish my musical project. I was referred to One Music Studios and Joel Valera. My first impression was very good because of the studio location and nice presentation of the studio. As soon as I entered the recording room, I realized that I was in the right place. In the past I have recorded at Kirio's Studios in Spain and Entourage Studios in North Hollywood and this experience at One Music Studios is just as satisfying as the previous ones. Joel is very talented as a Musician, Sound Engineer and as a Producer. I am very hapy to have crossed paths and confident for future projects together. Congratulations to Valera Legacy, High Five and well deserved FIVE STARS!!! read more

I came to Joel for a special project and he did not disappoint! I looked up local studios and One Music Studios the one that caught my eye. I reached out to him a few months in advance and finally stopped by the studio for my appointment this afternoon. I 100% agree with the rest of the 5 star reviews. The studio is gorgeous and very neatly kept. Joel was nothing but kind during our 1 hour session and helped guide me to execute my vision. We only had 1 hour together but he worked efficiently to get the results I was looking for and I am absolutely pleased with the final product. I highly recommend this local studio for any music projects that you have. He will help give you confidence and make you sound your best! Thank you so much, Joel! I couldn't have done it without you. read more

My son had a last minute audition to submit and we needed to record in a studio. One Music Studios was quick to respond and was readily available to assist in what we needed. The engineer Elias was kind, courteous, and easy to work with. We were fortunate to have met the studio owner Joel. He provided feedback and helpful suggestions to bring out the best of my son! The studio itself was recently renovated and looked professionally done. Spacious and clean. read more

Extremely professional! Joel is an expert at what he does. Not only was our song produced with absolute care and percision, but his customer support and hospitality really made the whole experience. I'm inexperienced with recording, but Joel took me through the process step by step and was very patient with me. You're not gonna find a better producer. One Music Studios is a home run. What an amazing studio!!!! I was looking for a place to record my vocals in the Fontana area and came across OneMusicStudios in Rancho Cucamonga. I had never heard of this place since I'm new-ish to the area and so I decided to give it a shot. I got in touch with Joel, who was genuinely interested in my project and began to ask me questions about what I wanted to accomplish. Professionally, he explained in detail what he offers and gave me a straightforward breakdown of what to expect based on my project and was very upfront about cost. I think I speak for almost every musician, songwriter, arranger, etc., when I say that when we think of recording our music, we would like a product that sounds phenomenal, especially if we have audiences we would like to target. Joel delivered and exceeded my expectations, along with being very professional, kind and patient with me. I would recommend this studio to anyone and everyone, especially if you're located in the IE, this is the place to be!!! I have a few short term follow-up projects that I want to tackle and I will not second-think about going to another place. OnMusicSudios, I'll see you soon!! read more

Great gear! Great room. The prices are very reasonable as well. My friend recorded some drums for an indie artist and we were very pleased with the sound. I believe now it has an ssl board! Don't wait! Go make some music! The engineers are very helpful and not full of themselves, which makes for great working environment. read more

On Joel Valera and One Music Studios... Older musician Thad Bouchelle writing here (I'm 60 years old). Joel's skills (excellent) rival the work of the best in the business from the Southern California Music Scene of the 1990's when I was doing the bulk of my music. Technology has advanced quite a bit since then and Joel is an expert at his craft - amazing me on more than one occasion on a couple of projects we've musically worked together on over the last four years. - I've worked with Partick Woodland (composer/ producer for the soundtrack for network television's Mohammed Ali story), and also- Richard Bredice (studio work for the Rolling Stones), and also- Todd Robinson of the Luis Miguel Band, and much work with the late, great, Brian Asher (of San Pedro fame), among others. I can honestly vouch that Joel knows his stuff with bringing out the sound you want with your project; Joel does it skillfully as some of the best of the best from when I was heavily into it back in some of music's better days. Joel would go toe to toe with the best studio men of the 1990's- and again-- with his expertise in technology advancements that have come along since then. Joel works hard to achieve what YOU want with your work- and can give you ready, honest advice. He knows his stuff. Without question. If you don't want the headache of going all the way out to Los Angeles, Joel will do just as good a job on your sound - if you're closer to the Inland Empire. This is a genuinely decent, considerate and musically knowledged, good Christian man who makes studio work a creative pleasure. He's a man who is fully capable of helping you to achieve the best sound you can get with your project- possibly beyond what you expected. I highly recommend. - Respectfully and sincerely, Thad Bouchelle read more

Joel at One Music Studios was AMAZING to work with. He really works with you to find out what you want most from the song and keeps working on each part until it's perfect. I have recently had the opportunity to work with Joel Valera on three occasions to record our gospel songs. He is amazing! Not only does he listen to what you desire in creating your music for your songs, in my opinion, I now have a master piece! The experience was golden, excellent, second to none! Very clean studio, cleaned all equipment between clients. I will definitely be going back! Thanks Joel! read more

Joel Valera is a true professional, right along with his crew. One Music Studios is affordable and the team there cares about the quality of the product, They really took the time with our music and offered awesome feedback, helping my band's (Leap Year Fiasco) songs become radio ready. It definitely wouldn't have come out as good as it did without Joel and the One Music Studios team. Big thanks! read more

We booked for a live three-piece band recording, and our schedules were pretty tight. However, Joel was very lenient and accommodating for our situation, and got us a booking at a really convenient time. During the session, we loved how straight forward and honest Joel was with our project, and gave us enough time to think it through whilst it not being rushed. We were able to feel satisfied with the finished recordings thanks to Joel's awesome direction, and we recommend anyone either on a budget or not to definitely give this place a booking. read more

I have been working with Joel on a project for a few months now. We have worked with many others in the music industry with varying levels of experience, and I can honestly say Joel has been one of the best to work with. He has great equipment in the studio and an extremely talented ear. Every time we go in, Joel is ready to go with set up and quick to change and select the right equipment for the next track. The studio is a great atmosphere, and Joel's expertise is perfect whether are going in with a complete album and just looking to record it, or you are going in with an idea and open to creative suggestions in production. Would definitely recommend. read more

First time recording and I'm addicted! I came to Joel as a solo artist who never recorded before. Joel methodically sat down with me and analyzed my music. He made some excellent recommendations that enhanced my music. Throughout the recording process, Joel provided outstanding advice and musical input that turned my solo guitar work into a masterful piece of art. I am very pleased with the outcome and will continue to recommend One Music Studio to others and as soon as I get my next playlist together I'll be back to record another EP. Thank you One Music Studio for the pleasant experience and professional output. read more

Joel was kind, courteous and genuinely interested in what I was working on. I meant Mr Joe Valera because I originally wanted someone to take a sample from my phone and do the music. However, we decided to do a fresh take on the Earth Wind & Fire song called Reasons. Not only was mr. Valera on time but the studio is stacious and it is set up to the point to where you feel as if you are dealing with a big Hollywood production. The microphones are on point the sound system is really on point but the most impressive thing that I witnessed was the fact that he is a really good engineer and he can do this with or without the artist being present. So the two of us sat down and we picked out the best aspects of the song and Not only was it better than usual, and it was even BETTER THAN THE ORIGINALl song!!!! I even got to add an extra instrument such as a clarinet on it! Armed with a great smile that is instantly warm and welcoming you feel as if you are among family. You will not find a better recording studio than this one. I guarantee it he is well worth the $65 an hour that he charges for certain services. Oh, and as a side note I will be doing all of my recordings in the studio. read more

Joel, the owner of One Music Studio, is professional, polished and talented. I came to One Music Studio to record my audiobook. I had never set foot in a studio before and feeling comfortable was a really important part of my decision process. One Studio is a relaxing and intimate setting without a lot of the pretension I experienced visiting other studios. Joel was very responsive through email and walked me through the process (he has worked on other audiobook projects so he knew his stuff). Once we kicked things off Joel had some good constructive feedback on how to improve my tonality and audio pick-ups when I had to rerecord a phrase. As with all projects of this nature, things inevitably take longer than expected. What I valued immensely was Joel's patience to work with me to make sure I was satisfied with the final product. At the end of the day, Joel wants everything that comes through his studio to be excellent and his drive and attention-to-detail reflect that mentality. read more
