He was extremely patient answering our group's many questions and educated us on numerous aspects of the ecosystem. The camp itself goes back six generations, which gives a very personal touch to the experience. Marshall went above and beyond "just" an airboat ride, making a necklace for us out of a river plant, stopping at a private island to allow us to explore, and introducing us to the people and animals that are part of the camp. Marshall was in constant communication leading up to the tour, professional, and accommodating. This excursion should be a must-do for anyone visiting the area.

Like I was worried then she scammed me and said already rented spot but wanted to keep money anyways after cashier check was already mailed to her. I reported her to attorney general and bbb. This lady was the worst form of a human and lies about everything. Huge scam. Avoid her. Don't fall for sweet old lady trick. She's definitely not sweet. I hope government shuts them down.

Once I did decide to call I was greeted very friendly and pleasantly over the phone. They were able to give me a reservation on short noticed. Once I arrived, management was very professional, they made me feel comfortable and gave me a RV pad. The park is very clean, the bathroom and shower are very clean as well. Moreover, when I drove to South Beach the next morning it was a quick 25 min trip. Obviously don't make the trip during rush hour. Furthermore they are very informative and gave me great suggestions about the local area. Without a doubt I will be staying here again on my next trip to Miami. So, they earned my official statement; Without Hesitation nor Reservation I highly recommend Embassy RV Park!!

It is the closest one in the area to Fort Lauderdale Beach. And they offer "primitive" camping, i.e. in a tent, as well as RV/Camper camping plus all the related facilities. But it's been quite some time since I actually visited this park. Located just west of Powerline Road, you wouldn't have any idea that this 40 plus acre park exists unless you were looking for it. There is no entrance fee during the week, so we were able to come and explore for free. The driving road is one way in a big circle around the park. The park is packed with so much to see and do. For nature lovers, it is part of the Birding and Wildlife Trail. The woodland trail entrance starts from the road. It had been raining a lot recently. We decided it might be a bit muddy to walk as we hadn't come prepared to do so. There are lush green grass areas and shady trees in the main area of the park. For the sports enthusiast there is disc golf, volleyball, horseshoes, basketball, and shuffleboard. For the kids there are wide open areas to run around in and playgrounds. We know a family who lives locally who recently visited here one weekend for a mini vacation with their new RV and had a blast here. And one of our fellow yelp elites visits often for disc golf. It's a place that can be enjoyed by locals as well as tourists -- whether you're looking to relax or for recreation. We had a lovely leisurely visit here. When the weather is nice, it is a quiet and peaceful retreat from the traffic and city distractions.

After checking in its a a small drive around the whole park to the parking for the 1st hole. I was there before the others so I was able to get some practice throws in on their practice hole first. once everyone was there we started the round. There is about 3 water holes, and they are all at the beginning. They arent hard though, it's really about going around the lake. We made it through there fine. after that its a mix of open field joles and others that go through the woods. Almost every hole is doable. I'm not good and I can par most of them. In fact I had 2 birdies that day. The whole course is well maintained. Nothing too fancy but it's taken care of. There are other amenities like a playground, camping, basketball court, and more. But the central attraction to me is the course. Oh, and they have a bonus 19th and 20th holes! Can't beat that.

We dropped off the bike during the week and even though it was in the shop for a week it got fixed at a VERY reasonable rate, and it got fixed right. I felt that if you don't swagger in talking the Havana way, your service experience may be a little different. If you walk in with an attitude then you will receive service with an attitude. If you walk in with an understanding that this business is one mans dream, one that has been built up from nothing, and has had some rough patches, some dips, and some highs, then you will receive the overall best service ever, and you will come out raving as much as we did.
