If you like hiring an attorney who files to have your house sold a year after it was sold, and a junior attorney who perhaps ruins your entire life because they are upset about their own lack of accountability, then go with Jonathon. Ask why you cannot leave a voicemail. Ask why there is no mechanism to make you aware of filings. I very strongly suggest due diligence. I think there are decent people here who may have indecent personal matters going on, but those were never disclosed to me and forced me into a financially untenable legal position. Withdrawing a day before he told me--and before the trial was complete--is client betrayal and unacceptable.

# A Devastating Failure of Advocacy During the Most Critical Time of My Life…read more I am writing this review under my own name because people deserve to understand my experience. My litigation has now been ongoing for over two years, and since my representation by Jonathan Marks, I have consulted with multiple highly respected attorneys in Missouri regarding the events that occurred during my case really before it even started. The consistent concern I have heard is not simply about the outcome, but about the process, the lack of preparation, the lack of communication, and decisions that I believe were made without my informed consent. I hired an attorney to protect me during one of the most financially and personally catastrophic periods of my life. My companies were under attack, my financial world was unraveling, and I was navigating an extremely complex divorce and business matter involving significant assets and consequences. Despite the seriousness and complexity of the situation, critical decisions were made before a full financial record had even been developed before the court and before substantive divorce proceedings had truly begun. A temporary arrangement was entered that, in my view, mirrored major settlement terms and impacted significant rights and claims without the level of analysis, preparation, and consultation I expected from my counsel and in a hearing that it belonged. What remains most disturbing to me is how those decisions were reached. Negotiations and conversations occurred outside my presence and without my express authorization. My civil attorney, who was present and actively involved in related matters, was not brought into those discussions once. When I expressed that I wanted to address my concerns directly before the judge rather than simply accept what was being presented because. everything changed, I did not feel my position was advocated for. in fact I was yelled at while my entire life was on fire. Instead of receiving guidance and protection during a moment of extreme fear and distress, I felt pressured, unheard, and overwhelmed and expressed so. I was facing the potential loss of millions of dollars and years of work that I had built, and I needed an attorney who would fully explain my options, and aggressively protect my interests. No attorney can guarantee a perfect result. That is not my criticism. My criticism is that a client should never leave a critical proceeding feeling they did not understand the consequences of what they were agreeing to or that their own concerns were dismissed. He was fired shortly after I should have ran not walked away from this horrific attorney. The consequences of those decisions have been enormous. I continue to document what I believe exceeds seven figures in financial and business-related damages connected to this period of litigation. The professional, financial, and personal impact has been profound, and years later I am still uncovering and working to repair the damage and my case is not done due to this very event. Based on my experience, I would never retain Jonathan Marks again. If you are considering hiring him, I strongly encourage you to ask difficult questions, demand complete transparency, ensure all significant decisions are thoroughly explained, and make sure your own voice remains central in every major decision affecting your future. He only care about billing you and threatening you if you question his attitude.

The food delicious and the music fantastic. We did not feel out of place. Bev and I were the only ones using scooters but we wandered throughout the whole ballroom many times. I returned to the party. Our Hearts are so full having been able to travel to St. Louis. The Marines were there collecting Toys for Tots. We had our photo taken with them. I saw them load many boxes of toys throughout the night. It seemed every time I rolled past the front they were filling another box. This was the first time we came to the party. I hope we can do so in the future. This is a fantastic event. Staying at the hotel is well worth the money you spend. It is worth the trip. See review on Four Seasons St Louis. Thank you Mr Onder and Ben for your kindness Willie and Bev. I remember the first day I contacted your office about my case. The office reached out to me. A few days after I signed on I received a brown padded pocket 3 ring folder with lots of important information in it. ONDER LAW in bold letters. I read every word sent me. Every page. When I received a Thanksgiving card in the mail I added it to my folder. This was over nine years ago. I've been walking the walk and fighting next to you all the way. Supporting the team whenever I could. The office has always treated me like I'm special, unique, and the only client on your desk. Each time I called someone had time to answer my many question. So my friend, for now just take second by second and do your best. No stress no worries. Breathe and know I'm smiling and sending good energy your way. Fantastic! My lawyer is all over everything. If there was an injustice Onder law is the place to go. The communication is easy, they all make me feel special and like I am the only client. Phone calls are returned as well as texts and emails. Very impressing group. They are my chosen family. I get monthly updates on long term cases. It is the best of the best. Good people work there. They care with their hearts. Special thanks to Karla ! She called me back. Karla was very patient in dealing with my handicap and my losing my train of thought mid sentence. My questions were answered clearly and in a way I could understand. She took time from her busy day to help me. Thank you Onder Law.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I feel like people should know what to expect. This lawyer came…read moreoff as really condescending and unprofessional. The way they communicate is more like they're talking to a friend, not a client-definitely not what you'd expect when dealing with serious matters. They didn't take the time to actually look into things and seemed quick to jump to conclusions instead of understanding the full situation. Also, don't expect a free consultation--it's not clear upfront, and there's a big discrepancy when it comes to what they charge. Transparency should be standard, but that wasn't the case here. I'd suggest going with someone who takes their time, communicates professionally, and is upfront about fees. Update: July 10 2025 Hi Sheila, I am the individual who left the review. First, I want to make it clear that I am not a woman, and your assumption and repeated misgendering are not only incorrect but highly offensive. It's inappropriate and unprofessional to make such personal assumptions in your reply to a customer. Second, your claim that I was paid or hired to write a fake review is completely false and defamatory. I stand by my experience and the feedback I shared. If you believe the review is inaccurate, you're welcome to provide clarification or request mediation through the platform, but attacking someone's identity and credibility without evidence crosses the line. I encourage you to handle criticism with professionalism and care. Accusations and disrespect toward potential clients reflect poorly on your practice.
