I discovered the salon randomly when I used to work in the area. I no longer work nearby, but I still make the drive from Fort Lauderdale because Lorena is that good. This is a Spanish-speaking establishment; however it's never been an issue for me as, Google Translate is a great tool, and the receptionist I wish I knew her name is amazing. She always answers my texts promptly to book appointments, speaks English, and is great at translating if needed. She is typically there, which is helpful in this appointment-only salon. The salon is small but always clean, and they are constantly busy, so be sure to book ahead. Prices are very fair for the quality of service you receive. I get a gel manicure and regular pedicure, and my nails typically last three, sometimes even four weeks, which is crazy. My nails have never been so long and healthy. As an extra touch, they serve Cuban coffee, which I absolutely love. If you are looking for an affordable, clean salon with great customer service, this is your place.

Unsanitary & poor quality. I hate leaving negative reviews,…read morebut I don't want anyone else to go through the unsafe & unsanitary experience I did. #1: Don't double dip the wax stick!!! When you consistently use the same stick to wax an area and then dip it back into the wax pot, you can transfer bacteria & disease into the wax that will continue to live as it is a warm environment. This it is possible to transfer herpes from someone getting a bikini wax onto someone's lip from using the same contaminated wax pot. The solution: use a new wax stick each time you dip into the wax pot! No cross contamination!! (And yes, I got off the table with only half a lip wax). #2: Cutting open skin while getting a pedicure. Ok, it can happen, but clean it & disinfect it when it does. Don't continue to pour chemicals (callous remover, exfoliating scrub, lotion) into the open wound! It burns & hurts & again, can lead to infection! All of this is assuming the instruments used during the pedicure were sanitary to begin with. In hindsight, I would have happily paid double the price, somewhere else (and I will next time), to avoid the discomfort, pain, and exposure to bacteria & infection due to sloppy practices. The thing that caught me the most off guard - they all seemed like it was no big deal or concern. Scary!! Someone could get very sick or worse because of their practices and conduct. If you don't know how to properly protect your clients from infection, bacteria, or unsanitary conditions, you need to further educate your team. Beware if you come here - keep your eyes open and stop services before you end up sick or hurt!

However, the place is pricey, even for basic designs they were +$25 (set in the system so they cant adjust). I was spending over $200 for my refill plus basic design and gel pedi. The receptionists dont communicate with the techs--I had two services done incorrectly because they didnt tell them what I booked (or the tech assumed/changed my service on their own idk). My acrylic fills would lift or pop off like a press on the week I got them done. Never would last 3 weeks, had constant breaking and hurting my nails underneath. They were not curing them to the nail properly. Each time they would charge me for the new nail an extra $10 so it was adding up when it was their fault for bad application. They set me up with the master tech when I told them what was happening. They said she would figure out what happened and they would do my next fill half off. I thought that was reasonable so I gave it one more shot. They never told me what had been done wrong. I had half my nails still intact when I showed up expecting a fill but they said they would do an entire new set acting like they were doing me a favor for the bad set, but charged me more again at the end instead of what we spoke about --also making my appointment longer than I expected. I feel like I'm 2 weeks in on a Botox appointment. I got some of the vitamin c products she recommended too for my dark spots. I loved every service I got, but what I loved most of all is how it felt to be there. It's CUTE, clean & everyone is super friendly, you can tell that they're happy to be there and it made me want to stay there all day (and I kind of did lol)
