If the theater manager (not sure of her title but that'll do) didn't move me and the group next to me, to infinitely better seats... I could complain about her brusk manner. But you can sorta tell she deals with persnickety jackasses on a daily basis, and she did me a solid with the third row center seat on a comp ticket. ::exploding fist bump:: The show itself, 3 Mics is excellent. Mine is not the only complaint about the climate control as you can see. The woman in front of me must have been a Girl Scout. She had a fan in her purse in the wintertime. I felt straight up, unadulterated envy when she whipped it out. And the fact that there's no refreshments available makes it doubly uncomfortable. I wanted a bottle of water so bad. Otherwise the seats are good, generously spaced on the risers with lots of leg room. They just need a good HVAC person to come in and straighten things out.

The service was good food also good, decor and ambience pretty nice and the throwback music was just the right accompanyment. There were charcuterie boards for us to snack on (nice touch) a five course meal and a cocktail included with the purchase. The starter was grilled shrimp, Cesar salad, for my meal I selected the salmon, it came with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Service was fast and friendly. The view were nice, seeing The City at night on the water is a great way to send the evening. The only area of opportunity I saw was the boarding process. There were no clear signs for where to meet, folks were wondering around trying to figure out which vessel was ours and there needed to be another person helping to check guests in.

You have to just bump your way in sometime eat up some place and try to grab that noodle or whatever dish you are eyeing. I like organized chaos so I didn't mind being bumped a little. This was the place to be last week, 50 hand picked restaurants serving all kinds of goodies and there were drinks and sweets to sample. I skipped most of the sweets and went down to just trying the real food. Some vendors ran out almost right away and since line was long outside I got in the spot after 730pm. I know Dough pretty much ran out first I guess each donut is expensive and all but once I got near the shelves on their carts were completely empty. Of course, so much food to still sample such as Luke's lobster (shrimp roll that I had more than twice). Line was not that bad actually, Boomwich was there, I think Fletcher's BBQ I looked for and didn't see but Ofrenda had one of my favorites. (See my pic of the taco, had that at least three times). STELLA ARTOIS was the official sponsor of the event and they made sure you were not thirsty. I had the beer and the cidre , awesome indeed. I was loving the vibe of the drink isle itself, so many beers like Southern tier and Sixpoint (multiple variations). Upstairs there were more vendors and VIP which I didn't get into but still experience was amazing. Veggie egg rolls and sliders were passed around. I was here with Monica and we both got our eats on. I was so stuffed for the rest of the night. Definitely a highlight of the year so far was to attend this event. I can't wait to come back next year.

It was an evening of well dressed people engaging in staggered gluttony and too-many-bites-to-count with over 50 restaurants represented. We made sure to have a light lunch, arrive early and choose wisely which bites we wanted to use for our stomach-retail. The Metropolitan Pavilion is perfect for so many tables. The space was spacious and clean. The plaques above each table distinguished each table and types of food they were serving. There was DJ playing 90s and 2000s songs. VIP lounge upstairs, and free whisky glasses for drinks. This year, Guinness and Stok coffee sponsored and served the best drinks. Guinness introduced a pale ale that was cold and refreshing and great break from the massive amounts of food. And the Guinness table had a tangy light red ale that was so unique! Stok coffee offered 3 flavors. The not-too-sweet cold brew offered slightly sweet smooth coffee that was perfect digestif to the multiple meals. Food: Most of the food was ok. The stand outs were: 1) Kailash Parbat's crispy corn basket. This was crunchy basket of buttercorn and beans; it was so delightfully different and offered so much contrast of textures that it really stood out in my mind. 2) Seared scallop- it was perfectly seared and although it was sitting out, it still maintained its perfect firm texture and sweet oceanic flavor. 3) Chocolate from Confectionery. This dark piece of chocolate was sweet, tart with chewy tart raspberry gel was one of my favorite desserts of the night. 4) Raclette from El Raclette. This was gooey melted semi-hard cow's milk cheese is roasted and scraped onto a plate of roasted potatoes, pickled pearl onions and cornichons. This was one of my absolute favorites! If you are a fan of melted cheese, you must try this dish! The cheese was gooey, roasted and had bits of crunchy caramelized rind. It was heavenly. I liked it so much that I waited twice in line. 5) The passion fruit ice cream- ohhh! I loved this! This was my other fav dessert! I loved the tartness of the ice cream and buttery creaminess. It was a wonderful time! Thanks to our friends for the invite!

The bus driver Levi was also very nice and friendly, (I had never met such a very friendly tour guide and bus driver compared to my previous guided tour experiences). After meeting at St. Patrick's we were dropped off at Grand Central Station took pictures and Julien took us to this hidden jewel, the Whispering Wall/gallery at the grand central terminal (in front of the oyster bar and restaurant). This was not part of the itinerary, and I appreciate how we were taken to this place. It was amazing how you can whisper into the wall and be heard by the person in another corner of the wall. We headed to the Empire State Building, where we were supposed to explore by ourselves but to our surprise, our tour guide Julien followed on the observation deck. He took very nice pictures (he is a pro) he knows where to take pictures and the right angles. We also had a delectable lunch and a nice ambiance at Paesano's in Little Italy. We boarded back to the shuttle where driver Levi patiently waited and this man had to drive around the area while waiting for us because they can't be parked in one spot for a while and had to share the parking to other shuttles/buses. We were taken to the Wall Street, Trinity Church and showed us the Alexander Hamilton's tomb. After that, we headed to the Statue of Liberty where Julien stayed with us the entire time and had an amazing time. He knew a lot of people including the securities, the workers etc. He knows what we need to do before heading to the security areas. He provided a great information about New York and we learned so much about the city in just 9 hours. He sounded like he had a sore throat on the day of our tour but that did not stop him from providing such a wonderful introduction and insight even he had to talk on top of his lungs. The last part of our tour was the 9/11 Memorial and Memorial Pools which was very emotional and touching experience. Lastly, my overall experience in this tour was wonderful. Before we departed Julien sang a song to us inside the shuttle the "New York, New York" by Frank Sinatra and we felt so special. I totally enjoyed my visit to New York because of tour guide Julian. He is a very hard working tour guide, does an excellent job!. He made sure we are all safe and no one gets lost in the tour. He even gave us souvenirs from the places we visited (postcards, etc.) Levi is a very good, safe, and patient driver. All respect for Julien who does an excellent job and also driver Levi. I would recommend this tour to my family and friends. Many many thanks to Julien and I totally recommend Julian to everyone who would like to visit New York.

He was so friendly, accommodating, funny, charismatic, and informative on everything New York. Our tour started off at St. Patrick's Cathedral and then progressed to the Empire State Building. At every point of interest, we were treated with fast access as VIPs. The Empire State Building was amazing and Julian got us in and out in quick fashion. We then went to Little Italy and a nice restaurant and canollies place in that area. The arrangements with the restaurant were great as the prices and food quality were good and the efficiency of getting us in and out in quick fashion was great. We then went to the Statue of Liberty where we bypassed a lot of the serpentine lines that circled that park area. However, the screening area was unavoidable and a bit of a delay as it was 45 minutes. Still Julian worked to make our entry as quick as possible and our time there valuable. Once getting onto Liberty Island, we went through a secondary screening area right at the statue and Julian gave us a lot of really neat information on the history of the Statue of Liberty. We then went to the 911 Memorial and the Oculus which was somber and enriching and Julian gave us keen insight on what the memorial park meant to him and shared a really touching personal story. I would recommend this tour company to family and friends as it is amazing. Try to request Julian as he is the most amazing human being I have met in quite some time. He made the entire experience quite memorable, informative, and fun.

On the day of the party, they were very attentive - again, I didn't need to do anything logistical and was able to focus on greeting the guests and enjoying the party. The show they recommended for our age group (mostly almost-3 yr-olds, ranged from 1 to 5, plus parents) was Cinderella. It was as enjoyable for the grown-ups as for the kids. Many of the kids had never been to a theater before and some got a bit scared/confused when the house light first went out, but the interactive nature of the show made it easy for the kids to get into it. They make it quite fun and accessible. After the show, they served pizza and then had a delicious customized cake for us. The whole time, the actors were around, interacting with the kids... totally blew their minds to talk to the characters :D All in all, it was so memorable. Planning was so easy and smooth, people were so helpful and attentive - as someone who usually obsesses and stresses over event planning, I was lost... everything was done well, nothing went wrong, so I was left with no choice but to sit back, relax, and enjoy!

**Review is for the Inside Broadway/Broadway and Times Square Tour.**…read more Billed as a tour by a real Broadway insider such as an actor or director, I was a bit disappointed to find out that our tour guide, Allie, was neither of those things. Yet, her love of the industry and the city was both palpable and contagious and she won me and the rest of my group over with her mix of historical (and hysterical) tales and gossip. The approximately 100 minute tour allows you to see many of the notable theatres of the area as well as some sights around Times Square. We even caught a glimpse of a Broadway star, Donna Murphy, though that wasn't officially part of the tour. It all wraps up with a group picture that makes for a good souvenir. Even better, you don't have to pay anything to get access to it online! The only reason that this isn't getting 5 stars is that the group was just too big for Allie's voice and speaker. I understand they have to pack 'em in to make the money, but it detracted from the experience.
