This guided tour was way beyond my expectation!!!. Upon arrival in front of St. Patrick's Cathedral we were welcomed by an excellent tour guide Julien, our names were mentioned and Julian addressed us with our names throughout the tour which provided a very friendly and very welcoming atmosphere. The bus driver Levi was also very nice and friendly, (I had never met such a very friendly tour guide and bus driver compared to my previous guided tour experiences). After meeting at St. Patrick's we were dropped off at Grand Central Station took pictures and Julien took us to this hidden jewel, the Whispering Wall/gallery at the grand central terminal (in front of the oyster bar and restaurant). This was not part of the itinerary, and I appreciate how we were taken to this place. It was amazing how you can whisper into the wall and be heard by the person in another corner of the wall. We headed to the Empire State Building, where we were supposed to explore by ourselves but to our surprise, our tour guide Julien followed on the observation deck. He took very nice pictures (he is a pro) he knows where to take pictures and the right angles. We also had a delectable lunch and a nice ambiance at Paesano's in Little Italy. We boarded back to the shuttle where driver Levi patiently waited and this man had to drive around the area while waiting for us because they can't be parked in one spot for a while and had to share the parking to other shuttles/buses. We were taken to the Wall Street, Trinity Church and showed us the Alexander Hamilton's tomb. After that, we headed to the Statue of Liberty where Julien stayed with us the entire time and had an amazing time. He knew a lot of people including the securities, the workers etc. He knows what we need to do before heading to the security areas. He provided a great information about New York and we learned so much about the city in just 9 hours. He sounded like he had a sore throat on the day of our tour but that did not stop him from providing such a wonderful introduction and insight even he had to talk on top of his lungs. The last part of our tour was the 9/11 Memorial and Memorial Pools which was very emotional and touching experience. Lastly, my overall experience in this tour was wonderful. Before we departed Julien sang a song to us inside the shuttle the "New York, New York" by Frank Sinatra and we felt so special. I totally enjoyed my visit to New York because of tour guide Julian. He is a very hard working tour guide, does an excellent job!. He made sure we are all safe and no one gets lost in the tour. He even gave us souvenirs from the places we visited (postcards, etc.) Levi is a very good, safe, and patient driver. All respect for Julien who does an excellent job and also driver Levi. We recently visited New York City and had a whirlwind tour with this company. Our tour guide, Julian, was the most amazing and engaging person I have ever met. He was so friendly, accommodating, funny, charismatic, and informative on everything New York. Our tour started off at St. Patrick's Cathedral and then progressed to the Empire State Building. At every point of interest, we were treated with fast access as VIPs. The Empire State Building was amazing and Julian got us in and out in quick fashion. We then went to Little Italy and a nice restaurant and canollies place in that area. The arrangements with the restaurant were great as the prices and food quality were good and the efficiency of getting us in and out in quick fashion was great. We then went to the Statue of Liberty where we bypassed a lot of the serpentine lines that circled that park area. However, the screening area was unavoidable and a bit of a delay as it was 45 minutes. Still Julian worked to make our entry as quick as possible and our time there valuable. Once getting onto Liberty Island, we went through a secondary screening area right at the statue and Julian gave us a lot of really neat information on the history of the Statue of Liberty. We then went to the 911 Memorial and the Oculus which was somber and enriching and Julian gave us keen insight on what the memorial park meant to him and shared a really touching personal story. I would recommend this tour company to family and friends as it is amazing. Try to request Julian as he is the most amazing human being I have met in quite some time. This IS NOT a bus tour as stated all over website. We did not skip lines as listed either. Due to a restroom break and standing in line for a water at Empire State Building our guide Marc left us because we were 5 minutes late! Again we waited in line for elevator both up and down. He told the group "oh well they aren't here let's go". Didn't even bother to call. Once again at the Status of Liberty he lost my party and another in security where we waited in line for over an hour and a half. Left multiple phone messages and emails with no response. We had an amazing trip to New York. And it started with our tour guide Julian. He was AMAZING! Totally New York style and full of information. He was super funny and made this 9 hour tour great. I highly recommend doing this tour for your first visit in New York. What they show you and having a real New Yorker show you subway is worth admission. It's a lot of walking so I wouldn't suggest for younger kids. You have to keep up. We did this our first day and glad we did. Went on this tour for my 25th birthday, & it only made me fall in love with New York even more. Ive always wanted to live there, visit there, JUST BE THERE! We had a retired Police officer by the name of Mike as our tour guide,he knew like everything! he was wonderful, and sooo nice he helped us off the bus each stop and he gave me a hug at the end of the tour! The bus was clean, comfy, and had air conditioning! lol The Price of the tickets were more than reasonable... esp for everything we did! The tour is legit and it's everything it claims it is....IT IS! you will go to every site they say, some you get to see while in the tour bus the major sites you will be walking. & you will have the time to enjoy every part of it. At each spot we had some time to walk off and explore a little more on our own and shop or just bask in the great views. They were very professional and prompt, the tour guide made sure everyone was together every time we had to get ready to go to another site. And they had all of our passes and tickets ready for the empire state building, lunch in lil Italy, Statue of Liberty and the Water Taxi to get to and from the island. I thought it was very informative, and beautiful, it was a blessing to have a wonderful tour guide & tourist with us everyone was lovely it also helped the tour guide shared cool little facts like where some celebs live and the types of movies filmed on certain streets, police stories & more! This tour is no joke 9 hours long, and im sure it could be way longer there is so much to see and its worth every minute it goes by really fast! trust me don't come here trying to be cute and prissy wearing high heels and mess you will regret it. You will be walking alot, & you will learn to love the tour bus by the 6th hour. I went in the summer so it was scorching hot out there. I took this tour in 2016- it was fantastic!! I returned to NYC with my family and decided it would be a great opportunity for them to enjoy the city as i did. Boy was i mistaken! Since 2016 the company changed ownership!!!! The tour we took September 2019 was extremely disappointing. Our tour guide Jeffery was nice but had a physical disability which slowed our group down, also didn't have much knowledge about the city. We waited for long periods of time to receive tickets for the empire state building and the statue of liberty. We only spent 15 mins at the memorial pools when on the website it says 45 mins. We spent a lot of time on the shuttle bus and didn't spend much time walking or seeing the buildings. We drove by, not able to take pictures. We didn't follow the Ticker-Tape Parade Route, nor wall street, or Trinity Church and was dropped off at Time Square. Lunch in Little Italy was just "okay". Nothing a typical Italian restaurant cant mix up. This was a huge disappointment and i would save your money and plan to enter the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty solo. That was all this tour covered. I contacted the owner Levi to share my disappointments and request a partial refund. After several follow ups and sending him an email, he responded with an instant denial to refund our group and didn't even reach out to discuss the matter further. As a returning customer, you would think he would have some interest. Save your money, the tour has changed due to management and they don't follow there itinerary on there website. read more

What an awesome day we had yesterday with our fun and knowledgeable guide Julien! We loved it so much and now have great memories of our first trip to the Big !!!! Thank you- thank you- thank you! We took the 9 hour main NY City tour because it would get us to see pretty much everything we wanted all in one day. We did go to all the locations listed, but we didn't go IN to all the place they said we would go in to. We did not go into the following locations: Saint Patricks Cathedral (just drove by), Federal Hall (we were there on a weekday) or Trinity Church, We did not hear anything about the Ticker Tape Parade route, not sure if we drove it or not. The 'walking tour' of Little Italy can't really be considered a walking tour. It was just a few facts while we stood outside the restaurant and then walked back to the bus. The food was OK, but didn't seem any more Italian than what we get at home. I might suggest taking them up on the option to eat elsewhere. We were supposed to have 45 minutes at the 9/11 Memorial Pools and really only had about 20-25 minutes there. That was a real disappointment. The bus was about 15 minutes late to arrive and then at the Empire State Building we waited at least 30 minutes past the meeting time for 1 person who hadn't returned yet. I wonder if those 45 minutes would have allowed us to get all of the experiences we missed. I can see waiting 5, maybe 10 minutes, but it's not fair to the rest of us to miss out on things because people don't pay attention to the time. (the Empire State Building wasn't crowded so it wasn't an issue of him not being able to get to see it all). Overall, it was a decent tour in that we got to see a lot, but definitely short-changed us on a few things. read more

My wife and I booked two bus tours through this company. The first went off without a hitch although the company was vague on the pickup point which was simply stated as St. Patrick's Cathedral. Since the cathedral sits on a city block, the pick up point could have been on any of 4 streets. The tour itself was informative and overall was worth the cost. After a day on the bus, however, we were dropped off in the Times Square area. The dropoff location was never mentioned beforehand. The second bus tour we booked went far less smoothly. The initial date and time were cancelled on short notice by the company and pushed to the next day. The pickup point was again scheduled at St. Patrick's Cathedral and we assumed at the same location . The bus never showed and after 30 minutes of calling the tour company and getting a busy signal we gave up and decided to have lunch. After a few more calls, we reached the tour operator and were told that the bus had been at the pickup point waiting for us. After this assertion was challenged the company admitted a different pickup point had been set and that they had been unable to reach us. All we had to do was run a few blocks to catch the tour bus. When we refused to do this and requested a refund, the company cited their no refund policy. Eventually we had the credit card company reverse the charges. Overall, the experience was disappointing. The company's policy seemed to be company first, customer second. For anyone interested in taking a bus tour of New York, I would not recommend this bus tour operator. read more

I have been to New York City a lot of times. First time doing a tour with some friends. Learned so much about the city, buildings, and history. Julian yo was the man!! Dude was energetic the entire time and knew a lot of history about nyc. He was great for the kids too. He kept them entertained and engaged. I highly recommend him if you take this tour. The only bad part of the tour was there isn't enough time in the day to really explore everywhere we went. The company puts on a great tour. Jack our tour guide was funny and very knowledgeable of NYC. Chris did a great job driving the medium size bus around the city. If it's your first time in the city, I would highly recommend it. It was a 9 hour tour and yes, I know what you are thinking, "wow that is practically a whole day" but you are skipping long lines, have transportation to each location and did I mention, skipping the long lines! We were there 4 nights so we had a lot to cover in those 5 days! The best part was our tour guide, Mark! He was hilarious and kept all of us entertained through out the entire tour. Julian started with what sounded like a well rehearsed "I'll treat you like my family" speach.... he lived up to that, he was amazing! We had our 11 year old daughter and 7 year old son with us and Julian included them a great deal in the trip, he interacted with them so awesomely. he showed us great spots, was super friendly and helpful. On July 2, my party of four had the worse experience of our lifetime, and the worse customer service ever. The horrific events started with a late delay at the start of our tour due to the company only provided one bus for two groups of people to share. 1. So for the first few stops we had to wait for the bus to drop the first group off and then come back to get us. 2. When we arrive at grand central station we were promised a bus of our own, we had to wait there for almost 2hr before the bus to arrive in the hot sun and once the bus came it didn't have air conditioning. 3. When we called customer service about this situation while we waited they were unapologetic, and really not accommodating to anyone and multiple people were all calling about this situation because the tour guide kept telling us it was 15min away and we waited a total of almost 2hrs. When I asked customer service could we be compensate for our 15$ lunch, they said no. 4. The restaurant where we paid additional for our lunch the food was horrible, no water or anything was provided for the people, I have been on tours that was more than half this price that at least offered bottle water. I was also traveling with my 5mon pregnant sister. 5. Now this is where the already terrible day turned into a horrible situation, we arrived at the the ground zero observatory where we was supposed to have Fast pass, no waiting in line tickets. We were told by our tour guide to be back by 315pm. When we got our tickets we still had to wait in a long, slow moving line, about time we got to the front of the line to start the tour it was already 250pm. We still had to catch an elevator up to do the quickest look and then wait in a long line to get on the elevator (102 floors) to get back down, so the time we got on the elevator it was already 315pm. So when we arrived at the meeting spot it was 325pm. We didn't see our tour guide but we started to see other people whom was apart of our group so we thought we didn't get left. what is the most frustrating part is that we waited for your delay in the beginning of the tour and waited again for hours for a bus, no fault of ours but due to poor planning and preparing of the company, and you couldn't wait 10min for 11 people. Unacceptable. 6. To say the least 11people in total was left by the tour guide and when we tried to contact him he didn't answer (called and text). So again we call customer service and we were told we need to get our own way to the next stop which was the statue of Liberty, and there is no guarantee that we will be able to go and the tour guide was not going to wait, we tried to explain that the lines was long and that it was a group of 11 people, in which people was told to leave their belongings on the bus, so people didn't have money, passports or other valuables because they were left on the bus, when ask if they could at least have the bus come bring people belongs we were told no, so we all walked to the SOL. We asked if they could contact the tour guide to let him know that we were coming, they said no we need to find our way there. Now during each stop the tour guide would call off everyone's name to make sure everyone was there, and he also had everyone's telephone number , but no calls were made to any of us, when we called him no answer. 6. We arrive to the SOL to find no tour guide so again we called customer service to ask about getting our belongs, still there was no assistance provided, we were told that we would have to wait until when the bus comes to pick up the rest of the group which would be at 6pm and it was 4pm. After several calls and threats to get the police involved then we were provided with the bus driver number. 7. We contact the bus driver who said he would be there in 30 min to bring us our belongs and take us back to the start of our tour and he took almost 1.5 hours. It was 530 at this time. 8. We got on the bus, and one of the other people asked about our empire state tour ticket, and we where given those, so we ask the driver could be drop off there instead, he said yes and then he forgot and then drop us off no where near the empire state building or our starting location because he was told that he needed to get back to pick up the tour guide and the remaining people. So we had to walk further to get back to our hotel, again unapologetic. Remind you I was with a 5mon pregnant women, the other family the mother had a bad foot so they had to catch a cab. 9. Customer service told us if you are unhappy, write to an email address. 10. Therefore I'm writing to this email and every other website that promote this company and the other are planning to do so as well. There have been no refunds or appolgizes provide to us for this horrible experience. read more

My husband and I were visiting New York for the first time to celebrate our first anniversary. We had many friends give us suggestions on restaurants, activities and shows, but since we were unfamiliar with New York we had no idea where anything was located. We came upon the 9 hour tour and decided to book it - we figured it would be a great way to help us acclimate ourselves with the city and see all the tourists sights right off the bat. This was the best decision! We booked the tour for the first full day we were in New York and couldn't have been happier about the decision. It truly helped us get a feel for the City, learn uptown from downtown and experience all the great tourist attractions without the hassle of booking/paying/standing in line for another ticket. Our tour guide, Mark, was phenomenal! He was very knowledgeable and we greatly enjoyed chatting with him. He was personable and even suggested a fun bar for us to head to after the tour. For those of you going when we did - in the middle of winter, while it is snowing - it was great! The bus was covered, heated and the driver was great too! I would give them more stars if I could! This tour is awesome!!!! Our tour guide Derrick was very informative, really nice, made us laugh, n was an excellent fuide. Gotta give jus as much credit to our driver Nadine... driving in NY is crazy, but she kept us safe n the ride was smooth despite all the traffic and she was always smiling! 9 hr may sound like a long time, but u see a lot n the time flies! Not a boring tour n these 2 really timed everything perfect again despite all the traffic, roadwork, n unexpected lane closures!!! LOVE IT n highly recommend it!
