We had spent a lot of time and created speciality drinks (one a spicy margarita, and one a whiskey drink) and the bartender did not shake either drink (I guess I could've told him that they needed to be shaken, but I thought it was self explanatory for someone who is a true mixologist). This was a huge disappointment as we were really excited about perfecting these drinks. The bartender was very nice and friendly but only hire them if you want/expect VERY simple drinks.

While they respectfully explained why they were not able to give more than 2 beverages to a person, they assisted our age- appropriate younger guests, who were tasked to help our vintage guests, in bringing the beverages to the elders. On the business side of things, Amanda was professional, friendly and expedient from getting the contracts ready to being readily available to answer any questions. We hosted an event in late February for about 75 people. The level of professionalism from Nichole,…read moreculinary sales manager, was second to none. The experience was seamless and stress free throughout, from planning the menu to logistics. We had inclement weather the day of, and last minute accommodations were handled gracefully and efficiently. It is clear that the passion for hospitality flows throughout the entire organization. Lily and Margarita served us that evening and were an absolute joy to interact with. Their presentation was beautiful, food always fresh and they were always present and of service to our guests. The bartender Antonio was also great, kept the energy going all night and kept our guests well "hydrated!" The food, décor and staffing was all first rate! Every person from the True Flavors staff was always helpful from start to finish with all three of our events. They helped us create the most amazing custom menus, had servers dressed in theme and provided décor that further enhanced our themes. Each of the 200-300 guests at each event, were delighted with the food and service, feeling personally catered to. This resulted in us receiving extremely positive feedback about how fabulous the food and service was. I would highly recommend them for your next catering, big or small. ~ Melissa Aguillon

Pre-event communication and coordination was easy and efficient. She arrived an hour before the event and worked hard to assemble, prep, and decorate to have everything looking perfect before the first guest arrived. We showed her where the location of refrigerators, extra alcohol, cups and all were kept and she handled the rest. Other than getting a drink and seeing her behind the bar we wouldn't have known she was there. One less thing for us to worry about. Love it. Seems Nicole had her own fan club going aside from the normal 'your the bartender therefore my best friend' situation. Oh, wait, am I the only one that thinks like that?! Her personality and energy couldn't have been better or more engaging. I'm sorry but I'm remiss in that I have no decent pictures of her set-up but know it's great. (yes I suck) If my guests send any good ones I'll edit the review and add them. Her set-up is attractive and inviting but not overly flashy and ostentatious, which is exactly what we wanted. We aligned on a menu of drinks and she made a really nice menu board and every single drink was made to order right in front of you. No pouring out of a pitcher, no shaking/stirring 4 drinks at a time. That drink is just. For. You. We will use her again and recommend her to anyone that asks.
