Like many of the modern comic book stores, Bedrock City Comic want to make everyone who walks through their door as welcoming as possible. They have specific sections for kids and shelves that's just local Houstonian artists created works or books for new comers to start from. This store is definitely well organized and there's plenty of things to browse for. Sometimes there will be special artists event such as Gene Luen Yang stopping by for a meet and greet and signing. They certainly stock up as much of the creator's works as possible for people to buy and get it signed the same evening. This store also have a good selection for the hardcore collectors when it comes to buying Golden Age comics, statues, and special limited edition collectibles that you don't really need it but you want it just because. When I am around on this side of the town, I will always try to make time and stop by here just to take a look, who knows what I will find that trip.

So the service is fine , the selection is okay lots of good comics that are nicely price , however…read moretheir figurines and stuff animal plushies are highly over expensive. One figurine that I want they are charging 140.00 for it , where online and other shops it's literally 40 dollars , a stuffed chuckie doll that's not even like a real good guy doll just a weird looking knock off Chucky doll is 80 dollars ? The Funko pops had a good selection but all priced at 17 dollars some of them are worth that but not every one of them. It's a cute store just not something I'll come back too . But thank you for having me .

I'd never been to this new location and while it's a little different it still feels the same to me. I move that they offer free game playing. They've got video games, arcade games, and so on. Decent selection of comic books. Great staff. Themed cocktails. All-around win!

From the outside, it's a little more polished--not exactly the scrappy dive bar exterior we grew up with--but don't let that fool you. Step inside, and it's like nothing ever changed (in the best possible way). The vibe is still unapologetically nerdy and nostalgic: old video games, comic books everywhere, tournament setups, and three custom arcade cabinets that are worth the trip alone. No pingpong room though... Even the bathrooms are keeping the tradition alive--patrons have already started tagging them up, just like the OG location. It's that kind of beautiful chaos that makes Neil's special. The crowd? Same eclectic, welcoming, slightly-chaotic energy. Whether you're there for a trivia night, a game tournament, or just to grab a drink and button-mash for a while, it still feels like the right place to be.

The owner and everyone I've interacted with that works there has always been super friendly and approachable. They have a huge selection of still unopened action figures. They also have some display cases with cool statues and even some video games. Their comic selection is small but they do still have some cool trades and individual issues. I've bought a few figures and statues from them in the past and the prices were always totally reasonable. Today I was not going to buy anything as I had some things that I wanted to sell. The owner was really easy to work with and offered a fair value for my stuff. Process was quick and easy. This place is awesome and I definitely recommend it.

His honesty,to be honest, really threw me off. But at the same time, I knew that I could come back because I could trust him. And that's exactly what I did. I did shop around. I did get better offers, but I came back to Robert because of his honesty and not only did he make good on the offer he originally gave me, but he made even better on it by letting me shop the store adding additional value to the offer! I couldn't believe it! Literally, made my whole Christmas come together. Not only to mention that the store itself is easy to shop, has huge selection of Funkos, comic books, figurines, games, all kinds of stuff. Everything is reasonably priced and the staff is extremely helpful. I forgot the girls name who helped me, but she was great! I will be sending all of my friends there for their gaming needs. Thanks again, Robert and Atomic Monkey family! You guys rock!
