Don't let big Bertha catch you looking at any of the ride on toys with your kid. Wanted to see if he liked it and sat him down on it to reach the pedals and she yelled at us to stop playing on them in the rudest, snarky voice ever when we weren't playing. We were looking to see if we wanted to buy. Never left a store so fast, rude as can be. Hope this gets back to her. You work at a kids store don't be so rude when kids want to try things out, their children. The store was scattered with toys that obviously other kids have played on, but it wasn't OK that mine wanted to test something out when we put back everything that he was looking at. This used to be one of my favorite places, but if she's working there when I come to shop,I'll turn back around and walk out if I ever do go back. read more

I have visited this Once Upon a Child location twice now since we moved to the area and it was well staffed and well stocked both times we went. The isles are a bit tight to get past other shoppers, but that's because they pack so much into their building. They have a good selection of clothing for every size it seems, I walked away with clothes in every size I was looking for both times I went. You won't get much by selling your items to OUAC, but I figure it's more than the $0 I would have gotten just dropping everything off at Goodwill. I am a fan of the prices. I prefer to buy clearance from stores rather than full price and I can get items in good condition at about the same cost here only I have a bigger selection to choose from. Kids grow out of clothes so fast, I like to save money on what I buy when possible. read more

Here is my problem with this OUAC location. The clothes they advertise they have are name brand. This location has very few name brand clothes. They stock the same brands Walmart does and charges $1 less than what you can buy it brand new for at Walmart. I don't understand. What is the point? They used to stock name brands like Polo, Tommy, Nautica, Levis, etc. but that is over with. Almost everything is faded. I have seen people have nice, name brand clothes to sell them and they refuse them but accept all the other "crap" that is faded and not name brand. I don't bother with this location anymore unless my kids need belts. They had some nice plain brown belts last time I went there for $2. read more

While overall I believe that Once Upon a Child pays out too little for sellers and charges a bit too much, I do still occasionally need to go to find something in particular. When I do need to go, I highly prefer this location. It's large, organized, and has the best selection. So, the time in my life where I review baby/child stores has arrived. It seems like just last week I was passing out in an alley, but people grow up I guess. Anyway, I love this place. Baby and child accoutrements for cheap; R bought several (sigh) pink onesies for our soon-to-be-existing-outside-of-R-herself little girl, and all were brand new (tags still on) and priced dirt cheap. We'll undoubtedly be back for more stuff for her to excrete substances on (the baby, that is.) Their inventory is massive and the hardware is dated corresponding to when the item was sanitized, which I found useful. Also, the place reeks of rubbing alcohol, which is one of my favorite smells. Although I like shopping at this location because I like their items, I will shop elsewhere because of the customer service. The cashiers are very rude, and when asking questions about buy backs and amounts they treat you like you're an idiot. I'm unsure how people with customer service positions forget how to use manners. Especially as grown adult women. I am also sick of hearing about their personal lives when they should be checking people out. read more

Really enjoy coming to this location. The prices for clothing can be too high for some things, but I just skip over those items. Every visit I have found some items we have needed for fair prices. Took 2 tubs full of clothes in and they only took a few outfits. They said they can't accept anymore clothes because have way too much.

I love love love this company!! Amazingly run and you seriously hire some the nicest people!! I had one issue, however, a not so friendly, obviously very overwhelmed employee first thing in the morning. It was not her fault. A lot of people knocking down the door at 10am, it seemed maybe a bit understaffed, and I would suggest opening another store or two. People obviously love the way ya'll do things, especially me. I used to shop and sell clothing at this OUAC all the time in the past & never had a problem. However, recently it seems like they are being cheap and not being fair with what they are willing to give you for your clothes. Today, I went in to sell two pairs of snow pants (never worn), 2 sweaters (never worn), a coat (gently worn) a baby elephant Halloween costume and 3 pairs of Abercrombie jeans. They offered to buy the snow pants, sweaters & elephant costume but were only willing to pay me $10 for all of them. That is ridiculous! Especially when you consider that they would put those clothing on the rack for triple (or more) that price. Sorry, but I'm done shopping at this and any other OUAC. I can go to Old Navy and get a new pair of pants for what their charging for a used pair of pants. The point (at least I thought) of OUAC is to provide nice clothing for a reasonable price. That is not so. I'd find just as decent clothing at my local Goodwill store. Oh. And the employee could use a little pep. No "Good morning" or "Thank you. Please come again." read more

Used baby Clothes, toys, strollers, accessories, etc. Prices are usually higher than you'd expect to pay buy still within the range of acceptable. Always plenty of clothes to pick from. Prices seem to be half to 60% of new...but, hey is cheaper than new for sure. Don't think I've ever gone in and spent less than $50 so there is definitely things there that you want at a price your willing to pay. I've never tried to sell anything but I've heard that the amounts they pay are stupid low. The misses got fed up with the low payments and now just gives the too small items to Goodwill...many of which is Northface and other bought new items, we originally paid a lot of money for. read more
