    Yesterday I entered the store maybe 10 minutes before they were closing. I knew they were closing soon, so I was looking for a specific item to see if they had it also checking on the price of the item. If they had it a young lady approached me and told me they had six minutes before they were closing. I told her no problem I wasn't buying anything anyway after she told me that me and my daughter proceeded to head to the front stopping to look at a few items before we left the lady behind the counter. Excuse me, can you leave we're closed "Older White lady " (Rude) you know who you are when you read this review, then proceeded to tell me again, me and my daughter can we leave that they are close. I stated to her that the young lady behind the counter already let me know that we only had six minutes and so as we were getting ready to leave then she again proceeded, to ask me can we leave that they were close! I told her she was Rude and she argued back with me about how she wasn't rude, I have purchased a lot of items from the store over many years and many locations, I've never been to an once upon a Child where I was treated so unruly and spoken to as I didn't have good understanding that they were getting ready to close ! and like I told her the young lady behind the counter, had already told me I had six minutes and I told her that I wasn't purchasing anything. I was just checking on something and we were headed out. it's not what you say is how you say it and she was rude. I will never go back to the store again thank God they have many locations in the Houston area you have lost my business. I was parked across the parking lot at one of the eating establishments there after I left the store and walked back to the car. It was just now 6 o'clock and they close at six. Sorry this review was a little lengthy, but it really irritated me how the lady spoke with me and handled me yesterday at once upon a child, so now I will once upon never

    Until today, I'd only left two reviews in my life. One of them was a five star review..I had received exceptional customer service and I felt like that retailer deserved to be acknowledged for that. The other previous review was a negative review. See I believe that the public at large deserves to know which businesses (based off customer reviews) they are likely to have a good experience at, and vise versa. I wish I could say something good about this retailer, however, this was truly the worst retail experience I've ever had. I've dealt with rude cashiers before, but I've never had one LIE straight to my face, until today. I've never felt prompted to publicly complain about the rude cashiers, because everyone's entitled to have a bad day, right? Allow me to explain. I recently took several totes clothing in. The clothing ranged from newborn size through 12 months. MANY of the items were new with tags. EVERYTHING, with the exception of the new items, was FRESHLY laundered as well as steam pressed, and none of the items had any rips, tears, or stains. All of the items had been purchased new within the last year. The clothing was laid flat, in clear plastic covered totes. ALL of the clothing was sorted by size, and each tote contained only one size. One tote contained size newborn, one tote contained size 0-3 months, etc. All outfits were complete. The totes of clothing I took in belonged to my granddaughter. My daughter has a small car (and a baby), and I have a truck, so I volunteered to take the totes of clothing to the store for resale for her. I quite literally picked the totes up from my daughter's home, loaded them (and only them) into the BED of my truck, and brought them directly to the store. I received a text 30 minutes after I dropped the clothing off. When I went in the store I was told "we can't accept any of this clothing." "Why." I asked. The woman told me it was because "they had a slight odor." Bewildered and confused, considering they were all freshly laundered, I asked her "of what?!?" She replied "of cigarette smoke." She went on to say "we took some of the shoes though." I immediately responded, "no, I don't think you will!" I told her to put back anything she'd removed from the totes(the same totes she just told me "had a slight odor"). Common sense should tell anyone that, of all the items people may bring to the store, shoes would probably be the items most like to carry an odor. However, oddly, THOSE are the items this clerk stated she was willing to accept. Hmmm,... I'll be honest, I am a smoker. However, my daughter is NOT, neither is anyone in her home. To clarify, she doesn't smoke, her husband doesn't smoke, and she does not allow anyone else to smoke in her home or around the baby. I picked up totes of clothing from a non-smoking household, loaded them in the bed of my truck, and brought them directly to the store. While the young quite possibly did smell smoke on ME, to say that the BABY clothes I retrieved from the bed of my truck smelled like smoke is not only absurd, it's a complete and utter lie.... and that's disgustingly offensive. I would NOT have been offended if they'd have simply said we don't want them. I'm offended by the fact she lied to me. This is what's wrong with America. She looked at me (smelled a cigarette) and automatically assumed a negative stereotype. Shame on you! I will never shop here again.

    I'm a fan. First time selling here and the system was smooth. Lay items open and flat in a basket, check into the black kiosk which shows who's ahead of you, they can text you when it's ready. They pay cash, and if you find things to buy, you don't pay sales tax up to the cash payout. I only waited about 15 min; by the time I had looked thru the boys clothes they asked my name. I liked the items I chose and they were reasonably priced. $4.50 long sleeve tees, some at $2.50. I'll be back!

    I searched for this discontinued toy for months and it's perfect except now it has sticky stuff all over one side!

    I always make money when dropping off baby items. The staff is friendly and professional. Great store, good selection, very organized.

    Service was terrible at this location. The employees worked very slowly, weren't friendly and didn't understand their own system.

    This is for the 4/4 debacle. I arrived and got in line around 5:55am. The line was disorganized,…read moreand bunched up all the way wrapped around the building. Up to 10 people were grouped up on the entire walkway while other civilized people lined up single or double file. At some point people started bum rushing their way to towards the store so a bunch of people cut and left lots of folding chairs behind. They allowed the people in front to buy 34 needohs each. For about an hour or more we saw big bags full after big bags full walking out and we knew they would run out. Not one time did we see any employee come out and walk the line to see how long it was. When one of the ladies near me went to ask the owner why they aren't limiting she was supposedly told that they tried but the people were saying why can't we buy 34 when the people in front did. When I went to cypress the IG post said 2 per style but the owner walked the line before the door store opened and let us know it was 2 total per person and everyone understood. It is your business you can change the policy at any time. Have a backbone. Instead of pleasing all of those scalpers you disappointed hundreds of people including kids who wokeup early on a Saturday. Eventually when the owner told everyone they were sold out she caught flack for it and cried and walked back into the store, locked the door and turned the lights off. Literally was crying. I've seen you respond to reviews saying this was your first shipment of needohs, we know that's BS just by looking at your IG posts. You also follow other learning express accounts on IG and can see the lines they had during drops. If you didn't then that's your failure as a business owner and just a lack of awareness on your part. Overall the Cypress location is the most organized out of the Houston area learning express stores. The town and country was pretty good too because they limited to 6 per person total. I hope you learn from this experience.

    What a fantastic addition to the Woodlands! Sweet little store, with so many toys in stock, from…read moresquishies galore to Legos and crafting toys. They even let you put together a gift registry for birthdays, AND they wrap gifts for you! The staff is always kind and pleasant and ready to help. We need more locally owned stores like this!
