Being back to school shopping season is no excuse for how messy and disastrous each and every department was. The shoe department was especially bad. Prices were marked completely different RIGHT. ON. THE SHOE. from what scanned. You would open a shoe box and find a different shoe or size inside. The dressing rooms looked like someone emptied their entire closet and just threw things everywhere. The bedding department had sale signs under items that were not on sale at all. Thankgod for the Kohls app to find out the real prices of things or there would be huge issues come time to check out. My mom and I were so frustrated with all of the disarray we couldn't stand to stay very long or complete our shopping trip.

Walked around the mall looking for nothing in particular. Unfortunately this mall like so many…read moreothers has been closing stores as people shop on-line. The highlight of the mall is a store called Boscov's. It's a department store that also has furniture, an eyeglass store and in store made fudge and Carmel corn.

When in the New Hartford area we spent some time at Sangertown Square. As we walked through the…read moremall we were surprised at some of the stores they had but overall it was a generic mall. The other interesting thing about this mall was that it reminded us of another mall we frequent and come to find out, it is owned by the same company as the Hampshire Mall in Hadley. In the end we had fun at this mall popping in and out of stores, but the food court was bland, the kids running through the store were in the way, and it could use more modern stores.

We were doing some browsing for Christmas gifts. They have a large selection of Nike t-shirts, as well as hats for sporting teams. I would say that if you need "fashion" athletic wear, this would be a good place to go. I would go to Dick's if I needed actual athletic wear because they have a huge selection, but this is a good place if you need to get branded t-shirts, hats, clothes, etc, for someone who generally wears sportswear.
