DO NOT GET ME STARTED ON THE OWNER!!!! HAS NO RESPECT FOR HER CUSTOMERS, Worst once upon a child EVER!. Staff is RACIST, rude and completely unprofessional. They literally don't even go through all your clothes brought in a bunch of things that my daughter was too big to wear with tags on them and was told that they were too old and stained! Literally have never been taken off the hanger. DID YOU EVEN LOOK THROUGH THE BAG? Then offered me $4.00 for three pairs of shoes and a outfit. Knowing they was going to make a $20 profit by offering me not even a tenth of what I paid for them individually. Owner is a complete shit storm. Never there, has absolutely no idea how to run a store. OH AND IF YOU'RE ANY ETHNICITY OTHER THAN WHITE THEY WON'T BUY YOUR CLOTHES read more

Maple just a couple of blocks from the Hartville Flea Market is a huge thrift store. Open Monday through Saturday, Hartville Thrift is always fun and worth the time. The first thing to check out is the video screens which show the colors of the week: one is 50% off and the other is 99 cents; even without those colors prices are very reasonable, mens shirts are $3, sportscoats are $8, suits are $10. It is also worth checking out the items on the silent auction as you enter the main room, there are usually some cool more expensive items and large collections available. In the main area you will find a ton of clothes, jewelry, shoes, art, toys and assorted other stuff. In the room to your right as you enter there is kitchen items, knick knacks, Christmas items, electronics, sporting goods and more. You will also usually see a couple of tiered carts with items just being brought out, just be ready for people to swarm to see what is available. Further back and further to the right is an area with furniture, hardware, lamps and garden stuff. I have found all kinds of values at Hartville Thrift, from Suit jackets, shirts, masks, figurines and most of those were very cheap. In addition the staff is great, they are friendly and helpful. The selection changes not just daily but can be supplemented at any time. There are going to be times when you don't find anything, other times when you come away with a very nice haul. If you are interested in a unique thrifting experience, it is well worth the trip to Hartville to check out Hartville Thrift Shoppe. With most of the major Thrift Stores reducing the discounts they offer and raising prices it is refreshing to still have a place with a great assortment and offering real values.
