I was so relieved to find a small local salon that could help us instead. As soon as we got there, Sherry made us feel at ease. She checked my husband for lice and then got to work on me and my two kids. Throughout, she was so very thorough, engaging, and informative. I appreciate the way she taught me how to treat and prevent lice at home. With all the confusing and conflicting information online, it was wonderful to learn from a real live expert. Sherry's methods were effective and it felt SO amazing to walk out of the salon lice-free with a clear protocol for staying that way. She took a chaotic situation and brought calm. The environment of the salon is also very clean, orderly, and kid-friendly. My son enjoyed sitting on the chair that looks like a car, and the kids played happily with toys while other family members were worked on. The salon's pricing was very fair given the labor involved. I am so grateful for Sherry and for Magic Hands and will enthusiastically recommend this company to all my mom friends who may need lice removal help in the future.

It's not cheap, especially with multiple kids, but it works. One and done. This is our second visit after several months. Diane was fantastic the first time and helped us again. She's incredibly knowledgeable and even showed us exactly what she was finding. Vanessa is helping us for the first time, and she's been great as well, very thorough and helpful. I'm especially glad both of my kids can be treated at the same time, so we don't have to spend double the time here. Hopefully this is our last visit, but if you're dealing with this frustrating issue, I highly recommend coming in and taking care of it right away.

They took what felt like a parenting nightmare and made the entire process so much less stressful. They were incredibly thorough, reassuring, and got us lice-free quickly. After that experience, we signed up for their annual membership with monthly head checks. Thankfully, we've stayed lice-free ever since, but the peace of mind alone is worth it. If those pesky critters ever decide to make a comeback, we'll catch them early. The technicians are fantastic! Olivia was always so funny, personable, and amazing with our kids. More recently, we've been seeing Raylene, who is equally kind, patient, and wonderful with little ones. They somehow make something no one wants to deal with feel comfortable (and the kiddos get to pick what they want to watch on TV while they get checked). The team here made us feel comfortable during the entire process. It started with a head check. Upon finding out some of us had it, we did a treatment. We went back a week later to ensure it was gone. Unfortunately there were still a few eggs which they said was normal. At the third check it was clear. While this is something I hope to never deal with again, I'm glad I found a place that helped us through it. They even give a cute little crown on your first treatment. My daughter actually really enjoyed going. She liked having her hair combed, watching tv, and sitting in a big chair. I do want to say, it is pretty expensive. She told me what to look for, how to check and gave a lot of helpful information. When I was unsure, she offered to come to my house to help me check. Once I got my child to sit still and actually check, I realized it was just dandruff. I was embarrassed but Theresa didn't make me feel bad at all and continued to give me sound advice.
