Incompetent service and shady billing…read more Problem Misdiagnosed: My crossbow wasn't cocking properly. This shop incorrectly told me the trigger mechanism was the issue, charged me $50 to decock it, and claimed they couldn't do the repair. The actual problem was later fixed easily by a different, more professional shop and was unrelated to the trigger. Overcharging Issue: After paying, I found they had overcharged me by $31 on my card. I had to drive back to the shop to get the correct amount charged. The fact that this happened at all, combined with the misdiagnosis, is very concerning. Poor Outcome: I paid $50 for a service I didn't need and a diagnosis that was wrong. The hassle of correcting the billing mistake was an added frustration. You can by ammo for literally any type of rifle or shotgun and their selection of handguns is phenomenal. One of the things that really sold me on this place is the knowledgeability and professionalism of the staff. I walked in to get a scope mount put on my Mosin that required drilling and tapping. The guy who does most of that work for ProGun was mature and professional enough to tell me that that particular mount he is not very good at mounting and has screwed a few up, but it didn't stop there, he actually recommended me to someone that is good at this sort of work on this sort of rifle. That to me speaks volumes about the type of business this is and the type of people the owners and staff are. Even though there are gun stores closer to me (liberty gun shop....yuck) this will be my go to gun stores for as long as it remains open. Highly recommended.
