We rented a boat, gassed up the boat, parked in the lot, used the facilities, and ate a lunch here…read more Boat rental: super smooth process. Boat was exactly as advertised, clean, and comfortable. Upon gassing up for return, they pulled it around to the slip saving us the trouble. Refueling: they have long enough pumps to refill in any orientation against the dock. Staff were quick to provide pump service. Car parking lot: some concrete, some gravel, minimal shade, short walk across a concrete dock to the marina Facilities: bathrooms are tight, but I'm guessing that's so they could fit in two stalls instead of just one. Main door + curtains on stalls. No baby changer (no space). Lunch: We ate around 12:30, after breakfast was over (over at noon I think), menu was basic, but there were enough options - wings, tenders, sandwiches, pizzas, nachos, etc. Drink service was prompt and our water pitcher was refilled as needed. Our food came out and everything tasted just as described, no complaints! (But lets be honest, you come here for convenience, not the food, nothing to rave about) Dining area was as clean as you can expect from an open air atmosphere (a few stray gnats, but that can't be avoided). Biggest downside to the marina: No WiFi and no cell reception. (Download any maps you need before you head out for the day!)

The girl running the front desk, who continuously struggled to coherently articulate words into sentences, who appeared to be abusing anti psychotics/depressants gave me an option between 3 different boats. I chose a white tritoon and told her I would be there in 10 minutes (we are staying at a house directly across from the marina). My friend drops me off at the marina less than 10 minutes later with the jet ski we also rented from them the day before. I get there and check in with the manager to check out my boat and he tells me they are all booked up and can't accommodate us. The manager offered us no accommodations and told me, "sorry you're out of luck." For whoever is reading this it is important to understand they run their reservations for their watercraft on a computer system. There is no possible way they honestly messed this up. They 100% gave our reservation away to another couple in front of me who was complaining about not having any inventory. After begging the manager to figure something out for us so we could salvage the weekend, Sugar Hollow Marina then told me they have another boat they are picking up soon and maybe we could grab that one when it got back. They took my number down and promised to call me. Hours go by with nothing. I call multiple times asking for an update and the airhead front desk attendant continued to sell me a dream that we were gonna get a boat. I call back for the 4th time and I ask since they overbooked me, I cancelled another boat on the lake and ate a $450 deposit so I could rent from them, and now I'm not getting a boat at all, could they do something at all for us. I get put on hold and then she hung up on me. Never called me back. I will never give these people business again. Has to be owned by private equity at this point. Customer service doesn't matter. Absolute disappointment. Figured I could have fun and escape the transactional sad society I'm used to in the big city. I was deeply wrong.... DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE. Some areas of the road could only fit 1 vehicle at a time, with a drop off on one side and a mountain on the other. Thankfully, we didn't encounter anyone on our way in or out. I had seen someone saying they had a hard time getting in and I had called ahead of time to ask if we could easily get in and the lady that answered acted like she had no idea what I was talking about. Once we arrived, I immediately didn't want to stay and went to look for something else, but there was no cell service. The signs were all faded, so not sure where to go to check in. We finally figured it out and went to the marina to check in. If you have any mobility issues, you will not be able to get down the ramp to get to the marina. One of the reasons we chose to stay at this place was because they had an on site restaurant. Once I saw the marina, I didn't want to eat there. Everything is run down and seemed dirty...Maybe it was just run down and old. They are listed as a resort...I can't imagine what part of this place is resort like. The pool hasn't been usable in years or maybe even decades and is fenced off. There is no where to swim or enjoy the lake, other than with your water toys. The lady (I think there's only 1 person and she may be the owner) that checked us in said we may or may not be able to pull through in our pull through spot, but that we can back in. There was a small ditch in front of the spot, so backing in was not possible. By the way, there are a few full time RVs and a few cabins and only 1 spot open for overnight guests. So, it's really not a campground or RV park. We squeezed in and lost a couple trim pieces along the way. Then when we got parked, our front door is just steps away from the back of a cabin. So there was no sitting outside and enjoying the lake or the scenery. Only 4 good things about our stay...They had a nice, wide ramp to put your boats and skis in. The person that maintains their grounds does a pretty good job. They have gas and good WiFi (our WiFi didn't work, as there was no service). I really don't like leaving bad reviews, but this place did not feel restful and vacation like. I wanted to save others from the same experience.

Full service bar and restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating for large groups. Live music on the weekends in season. Great spot to sit on the dock after a full day on the water, have dinner and drinks and listen to live music. We rented a double decker party pontoon from Twin Cove which was perfect for our group of 12 people. One of the owners, Brad Bardo, and staff made sure we had everything we needed and couldn't have been more helpful. I highly recommend you look into renting your condo/boat from Twin Cove if you are planning a trip to Norris.

The water hose for the slide was broken, which was especially disappointing for the kids since the slide is the main reason we choose this particular type of pontoon. On top of that, the front of the boat was taking on water throughout our trip. When we returned the boat, we mentioned both issues to the guy at the desk. Unfortunately, he simply said he was sorry and brushed us off. We expected a little more concern or acknowledgment, especially given the issues we experienced. We've rented from Twin Cove in the past, but after this experience, we won't be going back. There are plenty of other marinas on Norris Lake to try, and we'll be taking our business elsewhere next summer.

No wonder so many people call these boats their permanent full-time homes! And what a "neighborhood". Everyone talks to one another - about their boats, about the weather, about what they're eating, or who's coming to visit. There's also a restaurant/bar near the large boat dock, which is convenient upon exiting from the boat parties! I've been here a few times, and love it more each visit. I hope to see it stay quaint and pleasant and quiet, and I hope to be able to return for many years to come.

They damaged my new wake boat several different times, each time I brought it to their attention. Corey threatened to kick me out of the marina stating my boat was too big. Yet he has other wake boats on there as well. They actually ripped a large hole in my $1,900 boat cover and refused to pay for a new one and again threatened to kick me out. As we know spaces are limited on Tellico lake. Well today I got a random call from Corey stating I need to pick up my boat immediately that it's just too big after a year. No notice, no 30 days, he gave me until the weekend to pick it up. Stated the boat will be in the water Saturday and they are done servicing me. It's important to note I paid to get my boat repainted and all the damage they caused at no charge to them! Apparently this marina has like 11 owners and no way to reach someone above him to complain to. Now I'm left scrambling to find a place to even store my boat in the middle of the summer.
