We are novices to boating but were very pleased with the boat provided. The lake had several coves to have fun in. We aren't use to not being able to drop an anchor, and there was a learning curve to successfully and safely stopping in a cove. They had decent food available and karaoke going that evening. I would do it again and definitely recommend.

We decided to stop in Dandrige overnight and catch some zzzs before making the final leg the following day. It was the 4th of July and we came across the Dandridge dock while searching for some dinner. We got out to take a look and wow, the view of Douglas Lake was so beautiful that evening. It has a long walkway and at the end of it, there are Adirondack chairs for people to sit on. There were several people taking their boats out or coming in, families fishing, and other people like ourselves taking in the view. Definitely worth taking a few minutes to take a peek when staying in or around Dandridge or simply passing through. Stay safe, Friends!

The staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs and went out of their way to make this an enjoyable day for us. In terms of accessibility, be warned that there is a VERY steep incline down to the dock from the parking area, and even from the unloading area. Staff provided yeoman's assistance to get my wife's wheelchair down to the dock, but we elected to drop her off at a nearby dock and driving one of our cars to pick her up there to avoid having to push her back up that incline, which was difficult enough for 3 out of shape 69 year old men to climb without a wheelchair to push. That said, everything else about the outing was excellent. Thanks to the group for giving us an outstanding day! The boat was just as advertised!
