While I understand charging and paying for a service the insturmm was instrument was not worth that I in cleaning and it was disappointing to have the owner give you a quote and then tell you it was more because he was told he was not charging enough when you pick it up. It may be a great clean but should you be up charging at the time of pick up when you were quoted a price and there were no problems at the time of service?

Will you be getting the personal customer service from knowledgeable employees while supporting a wonderful small business in Black Mountain? I think not. Stop by and take a look. They sell 5A and 7A drum sticks, the most popular Evans heads, and drum thrones. - As of now they don't carry drum sets, cymbals, or accessories of any kind, but they did in the past. - The clerk was quite personable. Musician's Workshop might be great for guitarists, but being a drummer, I have to rate this store based on my needs. If you're a drummer too, you'd be better off going to Guitar Center.

Fast forward and I've really been wanting an acoustic electric guitar. On our most recent trip, we decided to stop in again and see what they had. The staff were amazing and helped us choose a guitar in our price range. They "fit" us so that the guitar wasn't too big or too little and they hooked it up to an amp so we could hear it. It was an amazing experience and now we're budding guitar players. We'll stop back in next time we're in Asheville when we've practiced more and are ready for an amp, capo, etc. Musician's Workshop has the nicest, no-pressure staff we could imagine!
