The transit center is divided into two areas. The bus stops are well-labeled with electronic signs with approximate arrival times shown. They added bathrooms as well, so no longer is there pee on the ground as before renovations! I also believe they added more security here. Additionally, they just opened a Metro store here where you can buy fares, ask questions, etc. in the little building. It is super easy to catch a bus here to go downtown. There is free parking at this transit center which is a plus, and it looks pretty safe. I have left my car here during the day with no problems, and I haven't seen any broken glass on the ground. That being said, please be aware if leaving vehicles at night and make sure there are no valuables in sight! tl;dr since they renovated this transit center it is much nicer, cleaner, and safer.

No restrooms unless you're a Metro employee, yet there is signage alluding to public bathrooms near everywhere. The roof leaks water, and the plentiful pigeons are not to be fed! Maybe you'll get where you need to go eventually. There are even some vending machines with outlandish Hotel prices who knows if they even work? Clearly a relic of the 80's not really in disrepair and not really well maintained, a good metaphor for Houston as a whole.

The Northline Mall used to be a big deal in Houston, when the city was a lot smaller, but now that it has expanded massively, it's one of those places that's dying and it's going to end up being converted into something completely different. You can still come here and get buses to anywhere, which is the good part.
