We enjoy thrifting occasionally as a family. We decided to give this thrift store a try. it is certainly a large store with an extensive selection. I am sure there might be some deals to be found but all the items we looked at seemed very over priced. The lighting was dim and the smell was a bit rough as well, we felt like we needed to disinfect as soon as we left. It is crowded and a bit messy but that is normal to some thrift stores and there were some people with huge piles of clothing on their carts So there has to be some kind of value there... All in all a bit on the gross side but much room to find a hidden treasure. Might swing back if in the area but not one I would go out of my way fore. read more

Solid thrift shop with a lot of different areas and options. It's a very large store and has suctioned off the different areas well. Up front you'll find China and miscellaneous home goods. Also upfront you'll find jewelry and handbags. On the far left hand side when you enter there's a boutique area for brand name items that are higher priced than the remainder of the thrift store. Beyond this is women's and men's clothing and towards the back is more home goods and games and puzzles. If you're interested in finding really good deals you'll want to be sure to sign up for their newsletter that comes out showcasing different price tag days with deeper discounts. The staff was friendly and helpful when I asked a few questions up front. Many of them are often times busy putting new stuff out as it's received. OMG Thrift was on my list of thrift stores that I wanted to check out in Central Florida. I was finally in the area and headed over to the Market Square plaza for some thrifting fun. What first struck me about this store was how large it is. OMG occupies the space of a former antique furniture store. Another stand out is the color coordination of the clothing that looks pleasing to the eye but also helps you find exactly what you are looking for. This is especially important when there are so many clothes to go through, like the large selection offered at OMG. Sections are clearly marked with overhead signs and everything is neatly organized by category. In the back of the store is a large houseware section. I spotted some unusual items like ancient Egyptian decorative items. This store also sells books, toys, accessories, shoes, and holiday items. Favorite finds were a Patricia Nash green leather purse and a Loungefly Encanto bag. Overall the prices were a little high for me personally but they did have a color tag sale and if you live local, a loyalty program. If you are prepared to hunt I'm sure there are some bargains to be had. read more

Shopping at OMG Thrift is definitely an unforgettable experience! The vast selection of items to browse through will keep you engaged for quite a while. Thankfully, the store provides restrooms for customers, though you'll need to ask an associate for help in opening the door. The abundance of clothing and shoes can be overwhelming, but the items are well-organized, which makes it easier to find what you're looking for. I also appreciate that the store offers dressing rooms so you can try things on before making a purchase, especially since they don't offer returns, refunds, or exchanges. For men in need of a tie or belt, OMG Thrift is a great spot to check out before heading to the mall and spending a fortune. Their selection is surprisingly good. At the back of the store, you'll find an impressive variety of household items, including kitchenware, utensils, purses, bags, lamps, hats, stationery supplies, books, board games, musical equipment, toys, and more. On my first visit, I didn't find anything I needed or wanted. However, on my second visit, I struck gold. I found three piano books for just $2 each, in like-new condition with the original CDs still intact. It's crazy to think that the original owner probably never even opened them! These books retail for $12.95 each on Amazon or from the publisher, so paying just $6.39 for all three was an absolute steal. The store is generally clean, and it's clear the staff are making an effort to maintain it. However, it's unfortunate that some customers don't always do their part in keeping things tidy. In terms of pricing, I feel some items are fairly priced, while others are a bit too high. For example, the music books were a fantastic deal, but the used Yamaha PSR-630 keyboard workstation is priced at $180. While this model was once more expensive, it's now in less-than-ideal condition, with sticky keys from being played by kids in the aisle. If you're asking for $180, it should probably be kept behind the counter, where it can only be accessed with assistance from an associate. The staff are somewhat friendly. During my first visit, the young lady at checkout was very welcoming. On my second visit, the associate was more reserved--she did ask if I found everything I needed, but there was no eye contact or warmth. Perhaps she's become a bit desensitized to the high volume of customers. Overall, OMG Thrift isn't the best thrift store I've been to, but it's certainly not the worst. Good thrift shop recommended to me by a friend. I appreciate the special sales they offer every now and then. Make sure to join the email list so you know when those deals are. I have found some great books and games here for the kids as well as a couple musical instruments for students. I am a little taken back by some of the prices on the "name brand" clothes but I don't find too many clothing items for myself here. I have more success for my kids. read more

I was out killing time in the area and looking to do some Thrifting. I came across this one and went to check it out. When you arrive, the parking lot is really big but really crowded near the store. They were quite busy when I got there, but there is a lot to see. They do have a ton of clothing inside. The aisles are a bit tight, but it is mostly possible to get around. I was looking for some other items such as in housewares and the entertainment areas. The first thing you notice when you walk in the door is quite a bit of a musty smell. They had a lot of big fans running inside and I was wondering if maybe they got a bit of flooding from the hurricane. Hopefully it does not always like this. Once you get past that, you see rack upon rack of clothing. Straight to the back of the store and the media I was really hoping to find some vinyl and possibly a few other gift ideas. They had a very small selection of records and I ended up picking out a few 45s. They are fairly overpriced on their vinyl, but I was happy with my selections. They do have a good selection of items of all different types. They had a very large selection of kitchen and housewares items, but just nothing for me on this visit. As these places tend to turn over a lot of inventory quickly, I would definitely be interested in stopping back to see if maybe they get more stuff that I could appreciate. I did see quite a few employees working in the store, but the only interaction I had was at the cash register. The lady I dealt with there was friendly and efficient. Rather a nice place to shop, but I hope they can work on that musty smell. read more

This place is a hidden gem but I am gonna be honest they stock really horribly most clothing items have the wrong size to the point to where it's mandatory to use their fitting rooms before purchase on each item. I like coming here a little more than I should. It often smells like mildew when you walk in and some of the clothes have stains or holes in them, bbbuuutttt...... you can still find some pretty nice things. I tend to find some nice things every once in a while. They do not have a nice size men's selection... just be wary. Sorry men! They have about a corner of the store maybe. Very small selection. I wanna say maybe 2-3 racks of shirts and 1 or two of suits and then a few random ones and one along the wall if like tshirts. The rest of the store is women's and they have a small section of kids. They have a few toys, books, games and very small shoe selection. The kids shoe selection is separate and they have a boutique section of women's clothes, bags and shoes as well. They have an aisle of random things along the parallel front of the registers and accessories in a glass where the registers are. The boutique section is nice. They have decent sales every so often. I feel the location is convenient as well. The area doesn't look the best but it's not the worst either. All in all, I do recommend this store for thrifting. I would inquire about plus size and petite as I have not really paid attention. I usually just look at the same stuff. There are other aisles in the back I've never looked at. Next time I go I'll try to take more pics and clarify. They do have about 5 or so fitting rooms and there is a restroom towards the front of the store. Please keep in mind that they close their fitting rooms when there are sales going on. It's also final sale and no returns so please pay attention to what you're picking. I'd suggest trying to wear tight fitting stuff so you can try stuff on over it without have to expose yourself. They have mirrors around the store. A few only but they are there. The service is good as the staff are usually pretty friendly. I've never had a bad interaction. The value just depends on what you're trying to purchase. I have been to thrift stores all over central Florida and thought I would check this one out as well. Worst of the worst. I spent 10 minutes laughing at the prices...who are they kidding? I've seen the exact same items at Goodwill for a FRACTION of the price. The place smelled awful, the carpets were stained, many of the clothes were from Wal-mart, priced higher than if purchased new!! Their "boutique" area was grossly overpriced. Omg thrift is hands down my favorite thrift store I've found in the Orlando area! They have an absolutely incredible selection of clothing, homewares, books, shoes, bags, everything! The prices here are extremely reasonable, and are in line with what you'd expect from a thrift store- not marked up like Goodwill. I've been here a few times now and always manage to leave with a new treasure. Most recently, I found two paperback books for only 99 cents each! I could spend hours in here (and sometimes do). After my first visit I signed up for their rewards program, so that I could earn points for every dollar I spend. If you're looking to build your closet out with some good basics, or find a funky new set of dishes, there's absolutely going to be something here for you! read more

I just left the store and I'm furious. The service by the regular cashiers was wonderful! Kind, courtesy and friendly. We chatted and if the experience had ended there it would have been a three to four star review (prices are expensive which is why no five star). However, the manager in the store was the problem. She checked someone out and spent at least 10 to 15 minutes talking as if they were hanging out on a girls day while there was a line building. Once I finally made it to the front I asked to speak to a manager which is how I discovered this issue. I waited and waited but finally decided to interrupt since she seemed to have no interest in actually working. Let me pause to explain that I am a full time caregiver for my mom and needed adult diapers. Our income is incredibly low which is why I shop for them at thrift stores. So I asked if there was a way the price could be lowered (even just a dollar would have helped!) since I was buying about 10 of them. She immediately said no that it was the lowest price and dismissed me. Her friend had walked away and she immediately went over to continue chatting. This is highly inappropriate, rude and disrespectful. I have worked in both retail and customer service and understand that she might not have been able to accommodate my request. The problem is she knew she was going to say no before I even asked. She didn't listen much less make me feel heard. I would completely understand that if it was something I wanted as opposed to absolutely needed. There is a big difference between a cute home decor piece and a necessity for my mom. I never leave reviews but this interaction was so unbelievably upsetting I find myself sitting in my car writing. I will never shop there again and will find my mom's adult diapers elsewhere. This is the largest thrift store I've ever been to! The prices are usually cheap in comparison to other stores, minus the name-brand or unused items. Another exception are the hats, with most of them costing at least $5. When they could, staff definitely made a point to arrange things by color. This includes clothing! While it's a nice aesthetic, it also makes it hard to find your specific size. Another thing I loved are the columns throughout the store. Each of them have outlets at the bottom to test out appliances prior to purchase. In my case, we found an old slushy machine that worked great! read more

Entire place has no air conditioning to save money, everything inside has a moldy wet musty smell. We shopped for an hour only to be told when checking out the color discount only applies to clothes, yet the large hanging signs don't make any clear indication. OMG thrift has become my go-to thrift store recently. I have found that they have a larger selection than Goodwill and the Salvation Army, but the prices are a little lower. My daughter is always in the lookout for "retro" outfits and she can always find something that fits the bill here. I have found that the book and game selection is great for my classroom. They have a "boutique" section with pricier brands, which is nice if you're looking for a specific designer/style. For the most part, the store is well organized. The houseware and shoe section can get overwhelming because its almost too full. The staff is super friendly, but the line can get long because they are limited in the number of staff that are on the floor. read more

This place might as well change its name to Delusional Thrift. The prices are just too high, no matter how the owner tries to justify it. The low-priced items are all from Walmart and Target and barely cost a few bucks to begin with. The decent stuff is all priced around the same as I could go get it new in an outlet or clearance section. Some specific examples from my last trip: $30 Lucky Brand jeans. They often sell Lucky Brand at TJ Maxx and it's always on sale at department stores. $80 Dooney & Bourke small/medium handbag. This is the actual sale price if you go on Dooney's website. Even in department store clearance sections, I can buy a similarly-sized Dooney handbag for $100 and it hasn't been fished out of a trash bag. The company line (which I'm sure I'll get as a reply) is to utilize their sales. Well, go ahead and check their Facebook and see their sales. Most of them only apply to items that cost under a certain amount. Not to mention, even if the sale applies, their sale price only brings the cost down to an amount you'd pay at a consignment shop, which you might as well go to anyway. At least at a consignment shop, their aim is to make money and they'll check for stains or damage before they put an item on the floor. Sorry, but this simply isn't the place to go, anymore. Even if you want the cheap stuff, you might as well go to Target yourself and buy it because it will last longer if it hasn't been pre-worn. read more

Lots of this and that; dish-wear, jewelry, games, and a healthy bunch of movies - all decently priced. I only wish there was a way to keep it better organized, but, given those that shop there - it's a near impossible task. My main gripe; that musty smell. It's bombards you as you walk in. I absolutely love this thrift store, it's got to be the best thrift store in all of the Winter Park, FL area. Every time I step foot into this magical thrift store I always find so many hidden gems. I have never been to a thrift store where you can find throwback/current NBA jersey some of the jerseys I have found were Tracy McGrady Hardwood Classic Toronto Raptors Jersey, Stephen Curry Golden State Warriors jersey, LeBron James throwback Cavs jersey, and a signed Victor Oladipo Orlando Magic jersey. I was not able to buy any of these jesey it was just pretty lit that I was able to find them at a local thrift store. OMG Thrift is also a great place to find awesome graphic tees, I am always finding graphic tee gems when I am searching through the tee shirt section which is sorted by color which is a great way to sort all their shirts that they have in their store. They always have great deal everyday of the week no matter what day you are in the store you are going to find lots of value in what you buy. Not only is OMG Thrift great for cloths you can also some times find great electronics like DVDs, game consoles/games, great selection of CDs & records as well. They have great customer service as well, the staff is always so friendly and very knowledgeable. So if you are looking for a thrift store that when you step inside you can always find something magical or just find that one thing you been looking for than OMG Thrift is the thrift store for you come check it out because its the best damn thrift store period. read more

What fun (huge) thrift store! It's almost a mix between a consignment store & goodwill, but on the trendy side. Its extremely organized, and clean which is definitely a plus! I happened upon this place a few weeks ago while I was visiting a bookstore nearby, and noticed it because of the name. Almost all items in the store are priced below $10, but you can also find some things you wouldn't find elsewhere for over $100. They even have plants and the cleanest fitting rooms around! OMG Thrift is a place I would tell any person to be cautious of. The thrift store is very overpriced and the staff is unknowledgeable on the items they carry. For Example a old faux leather was on the rack for 50$ and another jacket was priced at 99$. The store is pretty clean, non smelling and somewhat organized which I can appreciate. I would only recommend this place is you are willing to take the 1% chance of actually finding something and it being a decent price. Lastly, at checkout, the cashier in the middle of my transaction stepped away to talk to a fellow cashier for 8 minutes meanwhile the pin pad was frozen and I had to wait till she was finished to finally get some assistance. Believing in second chances, I decided to drop by OMG Thrift again to see if anything was different, if prices were better or if the overall feel of the store changed; not to my surprise everything was the same, still insanely overpriced and not worth the gas to drive there. read more

My go to place! First of all it is HUGE!! I love finding unique items that I didn't even know I needed. This place is always super organized! It makes shopping so easy and anxiety free. Big props to OMG thrift employee Mark- working the fitting rooms like a pro! he's super patient and really gives an outstanding customer service experience. A bit decieving from the outside - looks like a pretty small store but when you walk in OMG! It's so large. They've got so much inventory. We stopped in on a Saturday to checkout stuff for purchasing (I have never donated/sold here). They've got it very well organized. Sorted out by color and sizes. A+! The racks are stuffed - literally so much inventory in this place I couldn't believe my eyes. They've got a great boutique section - a lot of the clothes have never even been worn. They've got great name brands too! We stopped in the fitting rooms to try some clothes on & it was clean and well light. There is a home goods selection in the back with kitchen wear, TONS of VHS' and kids toys. Prices are pretty great as well. Very reasonable - they've got sales going on continuously as well.
