Love her she was super sweet! Con: I did originally go in with hopes on the massage being more foot massage focused but was recommended the full body and accepted which I am not upset about at all but my feet were def left out and that's really what I wanted. Next time I'll ask for more feet, but my shoulders feel great! I'm also not too big of a fan of being asked to leave more of a tip than the 20% I was already leaving. But overall I enjoyed the service and will be back

Book Tony. That's it. That's all. That's the review!!!…read more I typically visit every three months for an 80-minute hot stone massage and was previously seeing Gabe (unfortunately, he's no longer with Woodhouse). Gabe was fantastic--he always listened to my needs and paid extra attention to the areas that needed it most. This time, I was paired with Tony and OMG--he was amazing! You know a massage is good when you catch yourself snoring? That was me, LOL. Tony provided the perfect amount of pressure and, like Gabe, really listened to my concerns and focused on the areas I needed most. I left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. Highly recommend!

I visited Woodhouse Spa Walnut Creek on Sunday, July 19, with a friend. I had a facial, and my…read morefriend had a massage that I had purchased as a birthday gift using an online gift card that I purchased in October of last year. Both the facial and the massage were enjoyable, and we were happy with the services we received. Unfortunately, the experience at the front desk completely overshadowed our visit. When we checked out, my friend was told she owed the full amount for her massage. I explained that I had purchased the online gift card in October of last year. The front desk immediately asked for the confirmation email. I explained that the purchase had been made months earlier, I no longer had the email readily available, and that when I called before our appointment, I had been told we did not need to bring the confirmation because they would be able to look it up. Instead of trying to help, I was told that wasn't how they handled gift cards and that they had no way to look it up. Rather than feeling supported, the interaction became unnecessarily uncomfortable and felt more like I was being questioned than assisted. The staff came across as rude, disorganized, and unprofessional, showing very little interest in finding a solution. Ironically, after insisting they couldn't look up the gift card, they eventually searched under my name, even though the gift card was for my friend, and found it. Then, after processing everything, they initially told my friend she still owed $100. When I said I would pay it, they responded, "Oh, sorry, correction, you actually have a $100 credit." That level of confusion only reinforced how disorganized the checkout process was. When it came time to pay for my facial, I was then asked, "Would you like to just do the customary 20%?" Rather than presenting tipping options or allowing me to decide for myself, the question felt presumptive and added to the uncomfortable experience. To top it all off, immediately after everything we had just gone through, we were asked if we'd like to rebook another massage. After the experience we had at the front desk, it felt completely tone deaf. There was no genuine apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. The treatments themselves were good, but customer service is an important part of the overall spa experience. Unfortunately, the disorganized, dismissive, and unprofessional interactions at the front desk overshadowed what should have been a relaxing day. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because the quality of customer service did not reflect the quality of the spa treatments.

This is still one of the cheapest places for reflexology in the area. They do have cash pricing so use that. I just get the 30 minute foot/30 minute body, which is in a communal massage area. It's ok for me. I'm not complaining since this is usually how reflexology places work and you're fully clothed. I usually have good experiences here. Usually I have a male massage me, and they tend to be super heavy handed, just the way I like it. There was a massage I got once that I felt was on the really light side on the foot part, but once we got to my hips and glutes, definitely didn't know I had some tightness there. As for tipping, I haven't really experienced issues myself, but I did hear them kinda judge on tips when the customer was gone in Chinese. Mainly asking how much she got and said the number. I would say it's better than getting a pedicure, so I much rather spend $55 on a foot massage (cash price in June 2026) than a pedicure.

I paid for 1 hour $70 (cash) and they make you pay BEFORE service. My massage was 40 min, but really 35 because the lady giving me my massage stepped out for 5 min trying to help a customer who walked in. Which I would have been fine with if she was mindful and not let that run on my massage time. When my massage was done I asked if my massage was 30 min or 60 min. She said 60 and I said it was only 40 min (I wasn't even going to bother mentioning the 5 min). She shrugged her shoulders and said next time don't come when busy. Mind you, when I got there they NEVER mentioned that they were busy and were more than happy to take my money. Then I thought she asked if I wanted tea, but she was asking for a tip. I said I paid for an hour, in cash, how much is 40 min? Her body language said forget it and proceeded to walk me out. I don't know how long this place has been open... but this was not the best experience, nor the best experience for a grand opening. I want others to beware. If you choose to come here I hope your experience will be better than mine.
