Is the decor the best you can get? No. It's an old converted railway station and it kinda looks like it. (as someone else said it looks like a lot of wooden tables crammed into your grandmother's sponge painted kitchen). But the service & fast and friendly, the food comes in larger portions than a lot of other places, and the price is low. For $10 each, my mother & I got coffee, she got the Western Omelette (DELICIOUS) with a side of bacon; I got the 3 eggs with an add-on of a bagel with cream cheese. You can't beat the price with the portions you get. The omelette was delicious, the home fries weren't overcooked and seasoned well. I did wish the bagel was grilled a bit more, but my waitress took it back and the cook did grill it better the second time. I would definitely go back. Omelette Headquarters - home-style cooking, with reasonably good omelettes but the sides are iffy at best. Also, the ambience is from the 'cramped office space' school of downscale restaurants. Although I've given them many chances (my wife likes the place) I've yet to have a meal here where the home-fried potatoes were adequately cooked, and for me, that's a meal-spoiler. I finally told my wife that I wouldn't eat there anymore. This place is adorable. It is decorated like an old lady's house - perhaps modeled after the house of one of the customers (I was the youngest by far at 33). I was particularly surprised that the heat wasn't turned on as it was 50 degrees out, and I expected a cacophony of "it's too cold in here"s from the elderly patrons. The food was pretty good and the waitress was a sweetheart. The menu had a ton of very cheap build your own eggs options. In our eyes just barely a 3 rating. I one word...too Greasy for us. Our usual fare of 2 over easy, bacon, home fries and hash were a mixed bag. On the positive side the eggs were done to our liking, plenty of food, inexpensive, good service and clean. Now negatively speaking they should cut down on the skillet grease, keep the homes fries out of that grease and put more taste in what are dry and bland home fries. We have been coming to the Omelette Headquarters for at least 10 years! They have always been welcoming to us and our children, from when they were babies to now ordering for themselves. The food is delicious, generous portions, huge fluffy omelettes with loads of options, home fries that are well seasoned and do not have onions or garlic (a plus for our family!) and excellent French toast. The waitresses know our children's favorite foods and are always smiling. We even recognize the regulars who are dining there as often as we are! Went in for breakfast this morning, couldn't believe how great the service was! We love how it is a continued family buisness! The new owners taking over were great and very professional and also very friendly! The food was to die for! They were great as a team to serve food efficently! They never make us wait for food, its always in a good timely manner! The place is very clean and very family orientated and thats what we love about it. It's a cute little restaurant in an old train station, lots of character and locals. It's always busy and very packed. Our server didn't really pay us any attention since we weren't regulars. Older lady with tattoos and a tank top. I understand keeping your returning customers happy is important but ignoring new customers to make small talk with a table of old folks didn't impress me much. Our food was blah. This place is awesome, It's the only place I'll go for breakfast. It's a small restaurant that was once a train station, so there are under 20 tables in the place, But the wait is never long, the food is never cold and the service is never slow. Best Eggs Benedict ever! There is one bad, which is the coffee, although it's always hot, it's horrible tasting. I wish I could say it was good, but it definitely tastes like it might be generic. I would suggest that they switch to Green Mountain or anything better than what they are using. It's not exaclty a kid-friendly environment...the place is too small for highchairs, we had to settle for a booster-seat. The food was mezza-mezza, nothing to really rave about. It was a very busy Saturday morning, so it took us ahwile of waiting in the tiny cramped waiting area for someone to finally get up & leave to grab their table (plus-side...the waitress cleaned the table almost immediately for us...the food took quite a while and, like I said, it was so-so. I've been going to Omelette Headquarters since before I was born. My mother went was she was pregnant with me and continued to bring me there in a carrier after I was born. I haven't stopped going since. It is by far my favorite place to go for brunch. They have amazing food for an exceptionally low price. Throughout the years I have brought many of my friends to Omelette Headquarters and have never failed to love it. My favorite meals are French toast and blueberry pancakes. Well we will start off by saying i was the only one in the place, grabbed a seat by the window, and had made myself at home, the waitress came over shortly there after took my order, and came back with the smallest narrowest coffee mug i have ever seen, more so like a shot glass. And i also asked for water, which was tap, that was horrible. As she approached me she told me to move to a 4 person table, because the one i was at was a 5 person, mind you, i was the only person there. So as i stood up to move, i spoke up and said, i can see why you want me too move, the place is packed.
