We appreciate their commitment to helping society transition to clean energy by flooding the grid with solar power. Hopefully this leads to more innovation in energy storage. GPE's production estimates have been conservative so far and their point person, Matt G., was outstanding throughout the process. We would recommend them.

The entire process was seamless; they provided a clear overview of each step and responded promptly to all my inquiries. After over four months of use, the solar panels have performed in line with Green Power's initial projections, which was one of my main concerns. I recommend Green Power Energy if you're considering getting solar panels. If you're unsure, request a free quote and ask your questions--they did not pressure or try to "close" me. I collected all my quotes, compared them, and then called them back when I decided.

I don't even know where to start…read more High pressure sales tactics. Installer kept rescheduling appointments, dragging it so far out that they re-ran my credit, dropping my credit score. They glossed over the fact that if we don't pay a large percentage of our total cost over a year and a half, the monthly cost jumps by $100 per month. Had it in writing that they were going to have the trees removed before installing the panels. Not honored. Once the panels were installed and "working," the most I saved on an electric bill was $1.02. NOT KIDDING. Cannot find a number that connects me to a real person who can offer any kind of answer whatsoever. If I could turn back time, NO WAY I would have gone with them again.

I had a very disappointing experience with Momentum Solar…read more After a discusison with both the sales representative and their manager agreed on a price for my solar project. We were ready to move forward, but due to technical issues on Momentum Solar's side, they were unable to generate or finalize the contract for me to sign that day. The next morning, instead of honoring the agreed-upon pricing, they came back with a new offer that was approximately 50% more expensive. Nothing had changed about my home, the system, or the project requirements. The only thing that changed was the price. This felt like a classic bait-and-switch tactic. We had a verbal agreement, and I invested my time in the process based on the understanding that the quoted price was legitimate. Raising the price so dramatically after an agreement was reached completely destroyed my trust in the company. I understand that mistakes can happen, but a reputable company should stand behind the pricing offered by its sales team and management, especially when the customer was unable to sign solely because of the company's own technical issues. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend getting multiple quotes and being extremely cautious before committing to Momentum Solar.
