Another company on the list of potentials from the Realtor was taking a longer time to quote. When a family member recommended Brightway for their service, I gave them a call. The problems began after agreeing to the quote. In the process of signing the documents, I discovered the policy had stipulations that conflicted with what I asked for. I let the agent know I was only getting the policy to close the purchase and expected to make a change. When it was time to requote, the agent sent significantly disparate quotes that 1) did not reflect information I had specifically provided and 2) again had stipulations that didn't mirror how I wanted to use the property. When I questioned the agent, she indicated the insurance company "wouldn't know if I didn't tell them." Seriously? Isn't that fraud? I just could not engage further under these circumstances.

After I had a really bad experience with another insurance company (several failures to follow…read morethrough and an incident suggesting fraud was "ok"), I reached out to Collier Insurance. However, they…read morerecommended her friend's 'company' for my glass claim, who not only put in the wrong glass for my car but broke my rear view mirror assembly, which was very expensive due to the camera and sensors required for my luxury car. This doesn't even include all the mistakes they made because the glass did not fit my car, which was proven when I took a picture of the part number and called the glass company. They not only refused to replace the mirror or the glass, but the owner called and screamed, swore and insulted me then proceeded to say 'I don't care about you or your car, find someone else to fix it' then said they would just call Kathy (on their speed dial) and have her cancel it. Needless to say, I'm stuck with covering the $1165 for replacing the mirror and had to do a new claim for the glass replacement. I got a new agent and had to start all over again - all the while my windshield is leaking water from the horrible job T&C Auto Glass did as I listen to the alerts from my car from the lack of calibration for the sensors and camera because the glass does not match up so it could not be sealed. She could have fixed this by calling and reporting her friends but chose not to so I'm still dealing with this over a month later. Be careful who you trust.
