At the start of my session, I sat down in a chair so they could do a closeup examination of my scalp using a little microscope. It was so cool seeing my scalp up close. This is so they can tailor each session to address dryness, dandruff, oiliness and other scalp and hair issues. We then went to the back to begin my essential oil floral scalp treatment. This was the most relaxing experience ever. Their team of experts provide a full scalp and upper body massage that will give your body the rest that it needs. The shampoo, conditioner and oil treatments helped moisturize my hair and the circulation and steaming helped promote better absorption in the hair follicles to get rid of the dryness. This felt like the most luxurious and revitalizing experience. I definitely needed this! At the end they blow dry your hair and then show you your scalp up close after the treatment and wow what an improvement afterwards. My scalp looked and felt hydrated and so much healthier. I wish I could do this all the time! Please keep in mind, they do not have a private parking lot so give yourself time to find public parking in the street or in a nearby public parking lot. The staff were so friendly, welcome and nonjudgmental. They really want to make your experiences relaxed and to help improve your scalp issues! Excellent head spa in the area! This was my first time doing a scalp treatment and I'll definitely be back! They started by using a camera to look at my scalp, which I was able to see the dryness. I chose the floral head scalp treatment and it was such a relaxing and great experience! I loved the smell of the oils and shampoo they used. I was able to select my shampoo to target moisture and hair growth. The upper body and scalp massages were added bonuses. I also enjoyed the stream. We made a mistake and booked a groupon for the spa on a weekend. When we got there, they would not honor it. They said we could apply the amount to the full price treatment but then they said we would only get 40 min instead of 60 even though we would be paying full price! I got a refund from groupon. Just visited Omay Head Spa and it was such a great experience! I booked the signature head spa package online, which was quick and easy to do. As soon as you walk in, you're warmly greeted by a staff member and the experience starts right away, setting a relaxing tone. The person doing my treatment showed me a magnified view of the roots of my hair, which honestly wasn't looking great--I had a good amount of buildup I didn't even know was there. Right afterward, I was led to a treatment room where I got settled in a super comfortable tanle and the experience began. It was beyond relaxing: the soothing scalp cleanse, the gentle steam, and the massaging of the head and hair was fantastic. My hair felt amazing during the treatment, and the neck, upper back, and arm massage was so good that I could have easily fallen asleep. After the treatment, they blow-dried my hair (no styling, which was completely fine) and checked my scalp again--my roots were so clean and refreshed, and I could feel the difference in my hair's softness and lightness right away.
