They sent out a crew a few months ago and it looked nice. Then the January 2023 rains came and blossomed with weeds. The ones at the side of the apartment must be 4' now. First time I called for a viewing of a home man was that girl super ghetto, that made me on edge a little bit. I decided to give this company a second chance because there was a home they were listing that I really wanted to see- same experience. O'Marshal has been handling our rentals in San Bruno and San Carlos for over 10 years. I do not have a single complaint and tons of praise for them. We currently live some 200 miles from the Bay area. It is comforting to find that any problems that come up will be attended to promptly and that we can enjoy our retirement. The communication with this realty company is the worst ! I rented a unit for a year and a half the whole time living at this unit the place needed repairs couldn't even live in peace. The landlord and realty company obviously didn't communicate to each other I had the landlord harassing me with calls. Always popping up when he felt like it .Berta who manages the place always with she'd get back to me regarding anything complaints or concerns (crickets) I called or emailed about never once did. Until it came down to giving my 30 day notice I requested that I be charged for pro rated amount of rent. Under the impression they received my request the maintenance guy Giuseppe which I won't complain about he was pretty good about getting back to me. Did the walk through 3 weeks before my 30 days were up I was under the impression I'd get majority of my rent I paid in advance for only stayed in the unit 8 days out of the month of September. Nope they played this game where clearly all emails said what I requested but since Berta has a problem getting back to people. Lacked communication I would have stayed in my unit until my 30 days was up . I feel robbed keeping majority of the rent I paid and getting the unit before the 30 days were up. To their benefit. I just had a newborn baby and was trying to save some money. Please do yourself a favor and get everything in writing with them it will save you a head ache and money. So basically I lost huge chunk of money with the lack of communication on their part or even with follows ups. I thought it was a win win they get property ready for the next tenant good luck to them hopefully they don't have to deal with the amount of annoyance we did. I worked with John Marshall at OMarshall to purchase a home. He is an amazing realtor, very patient, professional and pleasant to work with. Our family members visited the home we were interested in individually and multiple times. Each time John was happy to show us the house, explained different features and answered all our questions. We decided to make an offer. There was a gap between seller's expectation and our offer. John didn't rush and push us to buy. He worked very hard to negotiate with seller and reduce the gap. Because of John's hard work, we reached to a mutually agreed price with seller. Before closing, we wanted to purchase furniture and needed quite a lot measurement in the new home. Every time John made the effort to accommodate us in the house to do all kinds of measurement. He helped us moving out all stuff we don't want to keep in the basement of new home. John was extremely helpful during our purchase process. He always tried his best to accommodate us and address all our concerns. What's more, John went the extra mile in making sure we were happy with the new home purchase. We love the seller's outdoor statue. John ordered a similar statue for us as a gift. We bought our house a year ago and, I am not joking when I say it was the 2nd location we had ever visited (7 were planned total for the day, but it didn't matter) we were in love! As a first time home buyer, there's a lot of fear and potential rejection at stake... none of which phased Pam and so... we made an offer. First offer ever, second home ever toured and it was meant to be our offer was accepted! Pam and the team at OMarshall Realty treated us like family. We were so green to the whole real estate/home ownership process and they made it a much smoother then anticipated. We ended up with these guys by accident and our misfortune. We were with them very short time, during this short period they inflicted maximum possible damage due to their unprofessional behavior and unethical and our right lies. After multiple warnings we had no choice but the fire them. We highly recommend to stay away from them, never trust your property to be managed by them for following reasons. When the previous tenants gave one month notice they didn't advertise the property. After the tenants left they didn't even bother to look at the house. There were bugs in the fridge, extensive damages to walls &carpet, broken windows and over $300 past due utility bills. They had open house event when the house was in horrible condition and dirty. Naturally they failed to find tenants To us this is maximum loss we can possibly have. We are still fixing the house, paying unpaid utility bills and losing rental income. We lost the original security deposit from the previous management company which these guys have taken over. Overall it's a complete and nightmare for us. read more

5 Star, excellent professional service. I cannot fathom why there are multiple poor reviews - exact opposite of our experience. My wife and I rented a house from Marshall Realty in Millbrae. We primarily dealt with Maureen Davis, and secondarily Dave Thomas, along with a handful of others during the initial rental process. From start to finish our experience including maintenance needs & requests were handled immediately and professionally. Both Maureen and Dave went above and beyond to take care of requests for both my wife and myself. This is the most unprofessional property management company that I have ever experienced. There is no clear way to communicate service and maintenance issues. When they are reported it takes weeks if not months to finally be addressed. Currently the building has been without hot water since Sunday (it is now Monday night). It took them 6 months to repair a leak in my roof, which then caused issues a year later. Their lack of communication is extremely frustrating. I don't know about the company as a whole. I can only talk about my realtor - Stephan Marshall. We were looking to sell our place in Montara and move to this side of hill. My wife met Steve at an open house and told me that that was the person she wished to work with. We are both sensitive to pushy people and did not wish to be around some high pressure salesperson while making such a big decision. Stephan Marshall was a God-send for us. He is quiet, unassuming and extremely professional (I was often amused to find him in a suit on hot Saturday afternoons). He knows his business well and would point out concerns to us that I would have missed. I really felt that our satisfaction was more important to him than a sale. I can't speak to the other people in this agency (in terms of call return), but again, Stephan was very professional. He rarely took other peoples calls while he was with us which I really liked, but I know he always returned them promptly. The reason that I know this is that he always returned mine within a couple of hours and often sooner. One disclaimer to this review - my family's experience with Steve was so positive that we now consider him, his wife and daughters to be friends of our family. read more

It takes a great deal of talent for a property manager to alienate owners, tenants, and vendors all at the same time, but Berta Tover and the folks at OMarshall managed to do just that. Their communication, both verbal and written, is caustic and unclear. Their vendors are mostly of questionable quality with no visible web presence, no BBB or Yelp rankings. She was more committed to them than to her landlords, even when they provided poor service. When working with one of my vendors, her staff insulted him and caused him to quit. I had to work overtime to get him back on the job. She didn't bother collecting the move-in report from the tenant, which left us in a tenuous position. We got it only after firing them. Her management rates are slightly below average, but with good reason. Look elsewhere! read more
