She recommended a hair mask so i did that after the wash, and then she went straight to applying products, curling ad diffusing. I love the way it came out! Naomi is absolutely wonderful! Lo voy a escribir en español a ver si se hace sentir. Ayer tenía cita a las 5:15pm, llegué un poco más temprano para asegurarme de estar a tiempo para mi cita. Esperando, noto que el tiempo de mi cita pasa y clientes que llegaron antes que yo fueron atendidos y yo aún esperando sin una razón del por qué. Luego de una hora, decidí levantarme y dejarle saber a la recepcionista y lo único que me preguntó fue cuál era mi nombre. No se paró a buscar a nadie , no me dijo nada; en fin no hizo nada. Pasaron 15 minutos y alguien me buscó a lavarme el pelo, pero tampoco se disculpó o dijo algo sobre mi larga espera. Después de media hora, con el pelo mojado y esperando en lo que la persona que me hiba a recortar, la estilista se presentó, me preguntó que quería y se disculpó brevemente. Cuando comenzó a cortar, la interrumpen y ella de nuevo para de recortarme a asistir a la familia. Pasó más tiempo y regresa a cortar. Con el apuro de ya era tarde y tenía una persona esperando, otra persona que estaba haciendo uñas fue la que me secó el pelo. La estilista comenzó a cortar otro cliente. Al rato regresó a ver si mi pelo estaba seco pero no me preguntó si quería cortar más, si estaba bien o mostrarme la parte de atrás. Me cortó un pedacito que no cogía vuelta y me despachó. A lo que vine... yo fui a ese lugar por que he ido anteriormente y el trato ha sido excelente. Quería consentirme y pagar por un buen recorte y eso fue lo menos que pasó. La experiencia fue incómoda y frustrante porque se supone que sitios como este sean cómodos y confiables. Entiendo que hay días donde pues el estilista se tarda más o tiene clientes como la mamá imprudente que de repente se le olvida cómo usar tik tok y Amazon, pero hay que saber a este nivel de experiencia como esquivar o lidiar con estas situaciones. Un recorte de 45 minutos duró tres horas y un total (con propina y 33.00 de reserva) de 113.00 dólares. Creo que deberían buscar mejores recepcionistas. Ps. BEWARE I had my hair colored, the person left it on longer than required, it burn all my hair shaft, which means theres no way to repair, my beautiful that I used to have, I told the person, that she ruined my hair, she played it off. I tried to talk to the owner also was ignored... SO GUESS WHAT YOUR GETTING SUED. read more

My girls love the place which is bad for me because they are NOT cheap. But, I don't mind paying up for quality.

Waiting was a problem, finding the stylist that I booked the appointment with was a problem, the catty staff and owner had many problems. I've to admit going to this salon was definitely not the best decision. It was recommended by a local, this salon is very hyped, but it's obvious they are not very skilled when it comes to hair or coloring; omg and the hostile ambience is so filled with negativity that I've no idea how this woman talks about lifestyle. The coloring job was mediocre at best, gone after the first wash. They really don't know how to cut hair or color really, they proud themselves on working with curls but in reality they really just put so much product (each dab will cost u $$$) and the curls are flat by the time you leave the salon. It's expensive it's best to just go home and do it yourself. Be ready for the owner to insist on selling you her crappy products, and then be bullied if you say no. I was 1 of 5 clients and we all left disappointed. It's ridiculously expensive for what they do, and it's obvious the o only cares about money, don't waste yours here. read more

Pretty place!!! Bad experience! $248 for a haircut and a bad coloring job. Told the owner Laura Om that I was not satisfied with the results literally my roots were one color and the ends other ( no! I did not asked for it ) , it wasn't even and she told me that "sorry" no refunds or anything I can do" ....if you go to her fb page there are other people complaining about the same. Cam back 2 days later and have to change to 2 stars. Here's why. 1. My haircut looks ridiculous. I specifically said I didn't want to lose any length, as I had a haircut last month. It's at least 3 inches shorter and looks like a mullet. She completely disregarded what I asked for and the texture of my hair. I'm pretty disappointed and I don't think it can be fixed. I'll have to style it the way she did, which I didn't like, every day indefinitely, adding more damage to my hair and at least 30 minutes to my day. I did not want that and I'm unhapoy, to say the least. 2. The color she got into my hair was gone in 2 washes...without even using shampoo. I ended up going to Sally and buying my own color and redoing it about 24 hours after I left the salon. So basically I paid $265 for a bad haircut and hair that i had to redye myself. Pretty disappointed. I thought I'd found a new salon here on the island, but must keep looking. ***original review*** Came in for a consultation with jet black, box dyed hair. Laura greeted me when I arrived..Claudia was my stylist and was realistic. I wanted chocolate mauve. She got me there and it looks fantastic. Deducted 1 star because they charged $55 for a haircut that took 10 minutes and that I didn't really need. Other than that, great shop. Highly recommend Claudia. read more

This place is fabulous!! I am in town on vacation and decided I wanted a change. I decided I wanted to go blonde from a dark brunette. I looked online and read the Yelp reviews for OM and decided to call. The staff is bilingual and they scheduled me for a same day appointment. The salon is eclectic and stylish. It has a great creative vibe. Claudia colored, cut, and styled my hair. I'm used to high end salons in large metropolitan areas and this place can compete in that market. Their prices are really reasonable if not underpriced for the quality of their work. My hair looks and feels like a million bucks! I HIGHLY recommend them! If you're in town and need a blow out, a cut, or do what I did and change it all, you can't go wrong here! read more

The studio is really pretty with high ceilings and fun art on the walls...a really hip and welcoming vibe. Laura did my hair and it was such a fun and easy experience. I got beautiful subtle pink highlights that looked just like I saw them in my head. Laura's talent is only matched by her experience, and professionalism. She is incredibly friendly and caring and I really felt listened to. OM salon is a celebrity salon in a warm, reasonably priced environment, I got so lucky finding this place and have already recommended it to friends. read more

This place is awesome! I moved to PR a year ago from a big cosmopolitan city where my bar for hair stylists was high. I FINALLY found a place that meets my needs. I change my hair style and color often, and like a creative, sometimes edgy look. Laura at Om was amazing and might even be the best colorist / stylist I've ever had (which is saying a lot since I'm 45 and have been getting my hair done for a long long time). If I understand correctly, Laura (the owner) trains the other stylists there. That, plus the colorful, artsy, and eclectic vibe of the place suggests that you can also expect high quality from the other stylists. Their prices are costly but worth it. Definitely a gem in PR! read more
