Shrimp enchiladas. Absolutely stuffed with fresh shrimp, but the sauce could have been better.

This is a great little place on the marina. Would have to say it is more Spanish tapas than Mexican. We decided we wanted to eat at the marina and took a wander down to pick a restaurant. The guys at Ole Ole were a little less pushy than the others, the menu looked good with a lot of Mexican specialties, and they had a table ready for us outside. The waiter was a really nice guy and put in a great amount of effort, despite some challenges we had. Note that it is already hot when you are sitting outside, but then they will light the torches at the top of the restaurant and it will get really hot! They advertised one Malbec on their menu by the glass and when we asked for a bottle, the one they brought out was not the one advertised and was not a good wine. They had another that was offered only by the bottle that we ordered and it was good. Don't try and order a mimosa here, it's made with flat moscato and is not great. We started out with the potatoes in spicy sauce, shrimp in garlic sauce, and chips and salsa. The potatoes and chips/salsa came out and were both very good. They are good at tapas and I would recommend trying the tapas plates they have. They forgot about the shrimp, which was unfortunate because we were looking forward to it. Our entrees came out and everyone was happy, some more than others. A couple of people had the skewers that they advertise outside the restaurant. One chicken and one shrimp and both people were extremely impressed and the portion was so large, neither was able to finish all of it. The sea bass in wine caper sauce was also a big hit. The pasta in spicy tomato sauce was absolutely delicious, not very Mexican or Spanish, but delicious nonetheless. I had the shrimp enchiladas, they were ok but not great. They were absolutely stuffed with fresh shrimp, but the sauce was mediocre and there was an unnecessary amount of cheese on top. The Mexican combo platter was good, steak was well cooked and tender. The arrachera steak was good but not the best in Cabo (Baja Brewing Company has a good one on their combo plate). They have a paella on the menu that sounded delicious, but it requires 24 hour notice and a 6 person order. We are planning to do that next time though. All in all, Ole Ole is a great little restaurant in the marina and we will be back to try that paella!!

Lobster was outstanding! Also had quesadillas with shrimp, again outstanding! Cheese was top quality. Shrimp nice and tender! To top it all off their margaritas and michiladas were over the top amazing!

Disgusting. Don't get the enchiladas. Look at those canned, dry beans

This place is CLOSED. Now it is Las Ollas all Mexican food no Spanish tapas; whole menu has changed.

This was another restaurant we tried at the Sunset Beach resort location...and some mixed feelings…read more First of all, the restaurant had a super-cool architecture...somewhat dome-shaped. I thought it offered such great views of the beach, it was quite disappointing to learn that they're only open for dinner...when it's now too dark to enjoy the views. Anyway, we arrived via the tour bus and the golf cart (Sunset Beach is HUGE...and you basically cart around to all of its restaurants) for dinner. Again, can't recall the exact names of the foods we ordered (and too damn tired!), but we shared most of the items. Edamame was quite plain, but the Miso Soup was stellar (had a ton of Tofu and even noodles in them!). We really loved the main dishes...the Tazuna Roll and the Katsu Chicken w/ Rice and Avocado. The big disappointment was their desserts. Not sure what my husband had, but he was just OK with it...and my Tapioca dessert was just gross! It had this nasty, slimy texture (NOT the texture the Tapioca should have...should be much bouncier!). Plus, it was so plain...all same muddy green colored. Same with their Pina Colada...so plain, not even with a pineapple embellishment. As stylish as the restaurant was, the presentation of some of their foods and drinks were very basic and boring. I guess I liked the Tazuna Roll the best...the Tapiocca the least. Overall, I'd rate their foods as 3 stars, but ambiance would bring them up to at least 4 stars.

Unfortunately, I wish we had heard of Tazuna earlier during our stay so we could go back. The wait was an hour on a Saturday night - which seemed typical for the time of year and 5 weddings occurring on-site that weekend. The staff were very friendly and the outdoor area had a nice view of the ocean. We ordered an assortment of sushi and appetizers - all which were presented well and tasted fresh and delicious. I recommend eating here if you're staying at the resort!

It's right outside by the main pool, built like a "nest," which gives it such a unique and memorable vibe, especially at night. Definitely one of the coolest dining setups I've experienced. Service was great the entire time. Attentive, friendly, and made the experience feel smooth and relaxed. As for the food, everything we ordered was amazing. We went with the gyoza, oysters, jumbo shrimp, prime NY, jumbo blue shrimp, toro and salmon nigiri, and a maguro roll. Honestly, not a single miss. Fresh, flavorful, and really well executed across the board. If you're staying at Viceroy, this is a must. Even if you're not, it's worth making the trip over just for dinner here.

The beef skewers would have been good if not slathered in a sickly sweet sauce. Now the part that pissed me off: we had the all inclusive meal plan. The meal plan is not cheap and is like 1k more for a family of four than paying à la carte and yet they treat you like a leper if you have the meal plan!?! Make that make sense. Over all this resort was mid let alone the mediocre restaurants. Will never be back. For an elevated luxury experience I much rather Garza Blanca resort and any of their restaurants.
