I found out they have comedy nights for local comedians every once in a while...being bored with nothing to do in these parts I went. The comedy show was decent...the inside of the bar/restaurant is really old nothing is updated but it seems pretty clean and people who come in seem pretty friendly. The owners seem very nice as well. On a whim one day passing by during the day I wanted to go and try their restaurant. I checked out their menu which by the way has an a nice variety of food. Sushi is one of my fave foods and they have sushi and other Japanese type foods. Authentic Japanese restaurants are rare in this area. One sign that they were pretty close authentic (in a fast food kind of way) is they 'actually' had Unagi Donburi on the menu I was shocked! I decided to take a chance and order it. I ordered the Unagi and California rolls. The Unagi Donburi is over priced at $14.95 for the small/medium portion size although it tasted pretty good. The California rolls were priced good for their portion and size of the roll. Being from California where sushi is king their prices and portion size don't really fit. But I'm not in Cali am I? Lol! The flavor was really good on both the sushi and Unagi Donburi. I will definitely go here for Japanese flavor when I'm in the mood for it. This place is not what I'm used to but they're good... if your in the neighborhood give them a try.

We would definitely eat here again. It's not ~fancy fancy~, it's maybe not the absolute fresh freshhest, but it's definitely tasty & a decent price point. Plus the rolls mean BIG when they say big. Whatever dipping sauce is paired with the egg roll is delicious af. That might have been my favorite part honestly.

Discover is an accepted form of payment. Charlie's is the only bar in Montesano. The building is old so it was chilly inside during our visit. If you are somebody who chills easily, bring a sweatshirt or light jacket inside with you. Happy Hour is offered Monday-Friday from 4pm-6pm. Well drink specials are offered Sunday-Thursday from 6pm-close. Charlie's offers a full bar and draft beers. Free Wi-Fi is available. Charlie's does not have a kitchen. Food items are microwaved. Remember, this is a dive bar. We all use microwaves at home from time-to-time. I'm good with microwaved food and an ice-cold beer. Charlie's offers many different forms of entertainment during ones visit. Pull tabs, darts, digital jukebox, beer pong, shuffleboard and a couple pool tables. During our visit, my wife and I played a few rounds of darts 501. If I recall correctly, each game was $0.75 (wife paid). While playing darts we slurped on a couple ice-cold Manny's for $5 each. We each took turns ($10 worth) choosing the next song to blast from the jukebox. We had an absolute blast. Our server was downright cool. She was friendly, laid-back, helpful and willing to share her knowledge of the surrounding area and Long Beach area with us. Thank you Charlie's for being one of our highlights during our road-trip. We both look forward to stopping in again the next time we're passing through Montesano.

Perfect for all ages really, but our crew of ages 5+ loved it and we could've stayed much longer than we did. When we parked we didn't expect this place to be so big but it's absolutely massive. They have a full bar, a restaurant space, the arcade area, axe throwing lanes, and even party rooms. It's huge! There's a tonnnn of games to choose from. Modern day ones, old arcade machines, claw machines, you name it! My son who is the gamer of the family was in heaven here. We ended up grabbing a couple drinks from the bar and it was so cool! They have fun themed cocktails plus a you-pour-it tap wall. And they have a ROBOT BARTENDER! I got a drink made by the robot and it was pretty good albeit very sweet. I got the Princess Peach one. My husband used the you-pour-it wall for cider and they had awesome local selections. We ended up eating at the restaurant too and their menu is pretty extensive! We got a couple different types of pizzas and for an arcade, it was pretty dang solid. We got a chicken pesto pizza as well as a cheese pizza. The kids loved their cheese pizza (hard to mess that up) and we scarfed down the chicken pesto! Also, did I mention your food is also delivered by robots?! Such a fun touch for the kids! They also have tables with game consoles and tvs on the wall which is a great way to keep hungry kiddos distracted. Definitely suggest checking this spot out, with or without the kids!

I had just been in last week and been served by the usual lady bartender but the one pictured was there and saw me. He looked and found nothing and looked at the debit card I always use and still didn't understand. So I am going to talk to the manager and owner to see why this happened all of a sudden after years. I have no recollection of ever speaking loudly or rudely to a bartender anywhere let alone yelling and causing a scene. Not sure what to do. Appreciate any suggestions.
