This place exploits poor animals!! DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THIS ORGANIZATION!! The carnivore section is so disheartening! The wolves were pacing back and forth along a running fence line with other wolves in the next cage over! And yes, I mean small cages! The animals are given absolutely NO enrichment. We went on a 90+ degree day and the bears were frothing at the mouth because they were so hot! They have no shade at all except for a metal box that is considered a "den"! There were little puddles for the bears drinking water that were green with algae and was disgusting. They don't wave, but they smile; for bread. There was no other traces of food anywhere in their cages. We also paid to have a "guided" tour. We were told that we can go into the petting zoo and the aquarium. When I asked when the next tour was scheduled I was told that she didn't know or really care because she was going on lunch at that time. "They'll figure it out I guess" quote the teenager. No guide ever showed up and we waited almost an hour. So we let ourselves in the barn that had their reptile room and prop room. They had a movie playing that I couldn't even stand to watch for more then a min. It was all about how they trained the wolves and how proud they are that they breed them there because the owner wants to have his daughter take over the business some day. We were disgusted! We went into the aquarium and they had 4-5 feet sturgeon in the tank that was tiny. They cram a whole bunch of fish in there with them. They also have two huge sturgeon in a duck pond, that was only about 10ft long and super thin. We went into the gift shop to check it out and they had put a whole bunch of signs telling children not to touch the toys that they have placed out for sell. We left with out buying anything because we did not want to support this place anymore. We left so disappointed and upset at the conditions of this place. It seems to be run by a whole bunch of teenagers who are rude and don't care about anything, especially the animals. And the owners are just exploiting these poor animals just to line their pockets with money. It seems that they do not reinvest their profits into the business. I was disgusted and wanted to cry by the end of this trip. Please don't give them anymore money. I plan on trying to notify PETA and other organizations to have this place closed down and the poor animals taken to sanctuaries, so they can live out their lives in peace. Shame on the owners and shame on Disney for allowing this to go in! read more

This is probably one of the hardest reviews that I have ever had to write. The mission of this place is to give these animals, many ex-movie stars and their offspring, a place to live out the rest of their days. They mean well... I adore being up close and personal with animals and have fallen victim to the lure of touching them and actually kissing them (I know, they are germy, but who can say they have kissed a yak?). It is an amazing experience to be able to be so close to these animals. I can only imagine the child that is able to experience this and get a fire lit under them and have a passion to do something for wildlife because they have been so close and it becomes "personal". I know how I felt. The laughter that will fill your car is unimaginable, and you will talk about the experience for years to come. I remember watching "Grizzly Adams" as a child and falling in love with Ben. Ben lived out the rest of his life here. I was able to see him and fulfull a live long dream. My family has been her a few times and enjoyed ourselves every time...until later when I thought outside of the box...I mean cages. BUT...when we take ourselves out of the bliss of what we are being able to do and how close we are able to be, me must truely think of the life of the animal. There are many areas of this park that make me smile, but sadly, more that make me want to cry. The bears (my passion) are adorable and they will wave to you. If you look hard, you will see a bored bear. A bear with no enrichment activities.There is no stimuli for them. The couple of makeshift "dens" are pathetic. Many have criticized the electric fences - I do not. They probably have learned well enough from getting zapped a couple of times and it make a safe environment for them and others. The cats almost brought me to tears. Many in cages barely big enough to turn around in. No enrichment, no climbing and no jumping. The problem is probably due to lack of funding. I do not think that they are intentionally cruel. I think that they are doing good for some and other animals should be transfered to other sanctuaries that would allow them to live in condions that would stimulate them and give them more natural living conditions. Maybe a fundraising campaign to better the facility, maybe raise their prices to better the living conditions of the apex predators. I would support that. Something needs to change... read more

My second visit to Olympic Game Farm in Sequim, WA -- but the first for my fiancée Jen. I was practically vibrating with excitement the entire drive there because she loves two things deeply: animals and adventure. This promised both. Now read carefully: DO NOT bring your shiny leased vehicle with temporary plates if you value pristine paint and emotional stability. The Millennium Subaru, however -- our patchwork quilt of repair jobs and questionable noises -- was born for this moment. Like the Millennium Falcon of the Olympic Peninsula, she handled the gravel roads, cattle grates, road grades, and occasional bison body-checks with veteran confidence. Olympic Game Farm is essentially ...Washingtonian Safari meets Jurassic Park: Olympic Peninsula Edition. One minute you're peacefully driving through beautiful Pacific Northwest scenery. The next minute an elk the size of a studio apartment is breathing directly into your soul through a cracked car window while demanding bread tribute. Their slogan, "Slimed, Slobbered and Kissed," is not marketing. It is a legally binding prophecy. By the end of the drive: * our windows looked pressure-washed with saliva * Jen was laughing uncontrollably * some alpaca violated our personal space * and a bison absolutely inspected the structural integrity of the Subaru The best part was watching Jen's progression: "Oh this is cute." "WAIT THEY COME UP TO THE CAR?" followed immediately by full camera chaos and laughter. Honestly, this place is weird, nostalgic, hilarious, slightly unhinged, and completely unforgettable. Exactly the kind of roadside attraction that becomes a core memory. 10/10. Would absolutely risk another bison-induced paint scratch again. read more

I am in total shock that this place is still open. How they keep their carnivorous animals is absolutely cruel, how can they be so inhuman when they state they care for these animals, all I see is exploitation for money. This place needs to either learn how to take care of their carnivorous animals or they need to find them homes where they can't be taken care of. I am going to do whatever I can in my power to get this place shut down if they can't take better care of the felines and canines that have unfortunately been stuck in this hell hole. Those animals need obvious stimulation, and a much larger enclosure to roam. Do they not know the basics of caring for predatory animals? Honestly, if it was in my power I would take the people who run this place and put them into the same conditions they have subjected those poor felines and canines too. Let's see how long they would last without going insane or wishing to die. I am going to make sure those animals are better taken care of or else they are given to a sanctuary that cares. Every single person that works there should be ashamed of themselves for being involved with that and not doing anything to save those poor animals. To start I have informed everyone I know to never go there and to spread the word until those poor felines and canines are better situated. What would be best for them would be to be put somewhere else because nobody who cared about them would ever allow them to be in that situation. Visited this farm during a trip with friends, not expecting much, but it exceeded expectations. Purchased four adult tickets and three loaves of bread for around $90. The farm is like a drive-through zoo. I drove my 2017 Ford hybrid C-max without any issues, though the roads are mostly dirt. If it's muddy, a higher-horsepower vehicle might be better, but smaller cars allow closer views of smaller animals. Animals approach your car eagerly for bread. It's essential not to stop, as they can crowd around your vehicle; we even saw park staff helping to manage llamas around another car. Be cautious of animals running in front of your car. Feeding the animals with the farm's $4 bread loaves was a highlight. Consider buying extra--it's enjoyable. We missed the prairie dogs, but the elk and deer exhibit was impressive, though a bit intimidating. The gift shop disappointed with its limited and low-quality branded merchandise. Food and restrooms were available and clean. Located somewhat remotely, it's worth the trip if you're in the area or up for a drive. read more

THIS PLACE HAS A PENDING FEDERAL LAWSUIT-LOOK AT THE SEATTLE TIMES ARTICLE IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE ME (among other lawsuits.) They clearly ABUSE their animals, which has been sited by numerous sources. No space, fresh water, and all of the animals look to be on the brink of death. We were going through part of it where it clearly said the cars had to keep moving, and the folks in front of us were fully stopped, leading to the animals coming up against our car and trapping us. AND THERE WERE NO EMPLOYEES TO MONITOR THIS. Apparently there was another "emergency" that had to be taken care of (AKA they are extremely understaffed.) Where are trained medical staff and vets??? How were these animals even acquired??? Another sad and deplorable case of animals being used and abused for human capital. DISGUSTING. Needs to be thoroughly investigated and shut down. I hope everyone who contributes to keeping this place open is charged and sent to prison-so they know how it feels to be locked up in a cage. read more

Great animals, sh***y people. No one listens to the rules to keep driving, so you literally enter the park and sit for 15-20 mins staring at nothing while the family 10 cars front of you is creating a 15 mile back up because all the animals are at their car (I get it, super fun/cool, but others are waiting and you have all day access). The security guard also sucks a** because he literally speeds around the place (going way over their strict 10 mph or under rule) which terrifies all of the animals, so they all run away. He also doesn't seem to be enforcing any security while he enjoys a cigarette every 10-15 mins. Also make sure not to go when "PETA Patty" is there causing a fuss screaming about how inhumane the place is, speeding through people trying to get to the front of the line so she can leave and almost causing accidents. That will be the 1 and only time I visit this place. read more

Ah the game farm. While other places are closing up their 'wild animal parks', the Olympic Game Farm in Sequim you to drive your own car (or a rented one, but a bad idea) through the place! Renew your auto insurance policy, bring along some baby wipes and hand sanitizer, buy a loaf of stale bread or two, roll your windows down a crack, and drive into what is the most entertaining family activity you can do in town. Once you're done, be sure to get your car washed in town somewhere, as buffalo snot mixed with bread and dirt is a bit difficult to clean off after it has been baked on for a few days. Warning: do not open your window more than a crack. My 70 year old mother had a bison shove its tongue into her ear from a 18 inches away. Wet Willy indeed. Confused by my review? The welfare of the animals is a low priority here. Tourist attraction and $$$ is what this place is all about. $40/car. Bread is not a healthy all-day snack for any animal (even humans); even the USDA advised them to change the bread to something healthy. http://huff.to/1MJHth1 The peacocks and baby deer are so low to the ground I couldn't see them when they got close to my car to ensure their safety while driving through their pen, I felt bad for the overweight zebras, huge overweight bears, yaks, big cats in tiny cages and every animal on this over-crowded farm. There were rabbits breeding and running wild everywhere. If you really care about animals, don't go there. Instead check out Northwest Trek where the animals are well cared for and you can see them living in natural conditions eating natural diets. My kids didn't like this place. read more

Unfortunately I won't be returning due to having great concern for the animals here.. Towards the end of the adventure you drive through rows of small cages additional animals are in, including tigers, wolfs and coyotes. It makes me sick to think of my own dogs stuck in a cage there entire life let alone animals such as these.. I couldn't imagine the torment these animals are facing- not being able to scream help or have a voice. I really hope one day places like these are shut down and all animals are able to roam free and live there lives the way that they should .. I really wish I would have researched this place prior to coming, they already have a law suit for these exact things. I went only once to this place. It's depressing, the cats and wolves are in small confined spaces. It should be shut down. I can't understand why this community supports it. I guess if you have no feelings towards any other species but yourself, maybe so. When visiting the Olympic game park in Sequim Washington I saw bears that didn't have any shade. The poor grisly repeatedly dunk his head in his water barrel just to try to cool off because of no shade to sit in with the excessive heat we have had this year this is so cruel and unusual punishment for this bear and other caged animals at this park.
