Wine at fire pit
Cyndi C.

Wonderful local winery with cute relaxing tasting areas (indoor and outdoor options) and solid wine offerings! The old barn is massive and a cool site to see in itself, along with an historical wooden bar inside the tasting room. The 3, 2 oz pours for $10 are served on a cute wrought iron holder that you could take outdoors if you like. We liked the covered comfy seating by the fire pit table, there were heat lamp options as well. In summer, the lawn will be open for picnic shows. The Reds- we only tried reds and I really enjoyed their seasonal Pinot Noir, as well as the fuller bodied Dungeness blend signature wine that tasted perfected as well. We were impressed and hope to bring guests to this wonderful spot, right off the 101... that we all drive by a million times, so glad to have finally stopped in. Kind staff to boot, so check it out!

We saw this little winery on our way to Olympic National Park, so naturally we had to stop by before heading back to Seattle! They have a small selection of wines but they are all very good. For $10 you can taste 3 wines of your choice (2 oz pours of each). They also sell wines by the glass/bottle and snacks to go along with your wine. Their seating is outside and they even provide cute little glass carriers to get your tasting glasses to and from the shop. If you're in the area and enjoy wine, I'd recommend at least a quick stop here. You won't be disappointed!!

Wonderful wine and view to unwind after hiking Olympic! We loved all the information they gave us about each wine!

Well worth the tasting fee, as the ladies make fun and tasty wines. It just before you arrive in Port Angles, WA, You arrive to a very picturesque wine factory and warehouse south side of the highway. Plenty of parking at this winery. There well versed tasting room attendants; fun and entertaining wine facts as well as the knowledge of the wines they are poring. The wines have fun names as well as fun wine collateral is for sell as well. Plan on a must stop here on the way in or on the way out of northern Washington peninsula, but do not have to drive very far after the visit. You will definitely have not fun if you do.

We finally had a chance to stop by this tasting room after passing by the cellar many times on US-101. Wine tasting $5 for your 5 choices from selected wine (as of May 2016) was pretty nice and the selection were from Red, White and dessert. Wide varieties of choice as about 12+ or so. I had some my favorite and purchased 2 bottles. Only one star down from 5 was because the tasting fee was not waved even you purchased a bottle. Many tasting places I have visited were doing this with a purchase but did not happen here, so that was bummed. However $5 for 5 tasting was a good deal so I was OK with this at the end. You can see their tiny cute vineyard on site.

This winery is located in a historic 1800's barn, featuring Working Girl wines - only one or two of their wines from local grapes. We shared a block of cheese as we tasted our 5 wines for $5. Loved the many barrel-aged reds - the wine was good. They also carry lovely gifts, trivets, and novelty trinkets. Their landscaping is beautiful, decorations were exquisite - a truly enjoyable experience. I also hear they have live music on the patio occasionally. My only complaint is that their prices were totally out of range for my pocket, but definitely an enjoyable experience.

My mom was out visiting from Southern California and I had to take her to a winery on the peninsula to commemorate her visit. That trip took us to Olympic Cellars, and I am so glad it did! When we first arrived, we immediately fell in love with the barn exterior. When we went inside, we were warmly greeted by one of the women that worked there and she began our tasting($5 per tasting). I tried their Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Dungeness wine, Petit Verdot, and My Sweet Syrah. My mom tried all the same with the exception of the Chardonnay, which she tasted the Working Girl White instead. All wines were very delicious! The woman conducting the tasting mentioned the Dungeness wine has been around since they opened 40 years ago and it did not disappoint! Following the tasting, I recommend enjoying the outside of the property and a glass of your choice. It is a very beautiful winery. The experience was amazing and we will definitely be back!

We were in the area to visit Olympic National Park and our car navigated us to Camaraderie Cellars as they have a charger on their premises -- and that's where the incredible hospitality began. As we pulled in, the owner came out to greet us. We waved, got out of the car, and introduced ourselves. We shared a bit about our journey -- a retirement road trip from St. Louis through the western United States, visiting as many national parks as we could along the way. For many weeks, we had been sleeping in our EV, embracing the freedom of the open road. Don, the owner, welcomed us with genuine warmth. He told us about the history of the winery and gave us a personal tour of the beautiful grounds. The place had a peaceful charm, and the curated snacks they offer pair perfectly with their wines. After hearing our story, Don said, "I have an idea. It's getting late -- and since you haven't had dinner yet -- why don't you go enjoy a great meal at a nearby restaurant called Yodelin Broth. It's healthy, delicious, and close by. Then, come back here. I'll show you around some more, and you can charge your car while you sleep. In the morning, you'll be fully charged and ready to take in all the beauty of Olympic National Park in the daylight." At first, my wife was understandably cautious. These days, you never know -- we had never been to Washington before, and Don was a complete stranger. But something about his kindness felt truly sincere. While having dinner, we talked it over. Was this too good to be true? Was it safe? My gut told me Don was genuine, and I'm so glad we trusted that instinct. When we returned, he met us in the tasting room and continued to share stories, letting us sample some of his excellent wine. We spent a relaxing hour chatting, then headed out to our car for a peaceful night's sleep. The next morning, we woke up to a fully charged vehicle, ready to explore the wonders of Olympic National Park. Of all the breathtaking places we've seen on this trip, our unexpected stop at Camaraderie Cellars remains one of the most unforgettable. If we ever return to Washington, we will absolutely visit Don and his wife Vicki again, the incredible owners of Camaraderie Cellars. Their kindness and hospitality were truly unmatched -- a shining example of the goodness still out there in the world. Camaraderie Cellars: Hospitality at its finest.

I noted this tasting room was close and could satisfy the cravings of both the cider loving husbands and their wino wives, so off we headed. It's a small little tasting room with a bar and some outside seating. We walked in on Saturday around 3 and there was noone in the tasting room or at the bar. We waited about 15 minutes before two people came in from the side door and were rather unfriendly in asking us what we wanted. We were a bit put off but already there so we tried a cider and wine tasting. Our cider loving husbands were fans of the raspberry cider but neither of us cared for any of the red wine we sampled. The pourer was saying she takes them home as cooking wine, but a wine that's only good for cooking with wasn't exactly what we were looking for. The tastings were reasonably priced and apparently the raspberry cider was memorable, but other than that it was a bit average overall.

My wife and I each had two ciders, a mead, and a wine. The ciders were the best of their offerings, and I particularly liked their berry and hot pepper blend. The mead was, frankly, quite disappointing. The wine was just okay. We did have a little sticker shock: the four tastings were served in shot glasses (at most half full) for $15 pp.
