This place is amazing! Over the years, they have been so consistent when it comes to their customer service, print quality, pricing and overall experience! As part of the board member for one of the schools in the high desert, they have definitely lost our business and future endeavors for 2025. As a photographer myself, the quality is novice and their lighting structure and post editing skills is poor. If I had the time, to take the photos myself, I would. Secondly the cost of digital is outrageous. I get we live in a world of capitalism where making above margin is law for the survival of business but $50 for digital is predatory. Thirdly, for that price you'd expect the turnaround time to be at the latest 3-4 weeks at the very latest. It's been nearly 3 months and parents still haven't received their pictures. Lastly, their communication is terrible. They don't reply to emails, nor do they answer your phone calls Sad to say, the high desert is a small world where everyone knows everyone. Best believe I'll will use my connections to spread the word around to other districts to choose a different photography vendor. read more

When I took my daughter to get her senior photos, all the staff had terrible attitudes and were not helpful whatsoever. We eventually had to go home after it took 1 hour and 30 minutes of waiting. Don't suggest this photography company! read more

We had my daughter's senior session Saturday. Upgraded to the middle session, however I'm not sure if the photographer Jason was new but he did not know how to photograph ladies. He kept moving her hair rather than allowing her to fix it, did not place the cape on symmetrically. "Personality" pics did not showcase her personality at all, but included the graduate year and/or something saying "Senior." We both left the studio sad because we had high hopes as she's the last to graduate and the only girl. read more

Worst costumer service I've experienced in a long time. I called and prepaid for pictures with Santa for a family of 4. My son got unexpectedly sick so I tried calling before hand to reschedule 4 hours before our appt and no one answered the phone!! We decided to drive over and during the drive my son threw up all over himself. After 3 attempts at calling someone answered the phone. I explained the situation and asked to reschedule and that is when I was told there are no refunds or rescheduling the pictures. We'd have to pay all over again for the time slot. Not once did the person who signed me up even explain that policy. Life happens and to not accommodate families with small children is insane. They basically robbed us by making us pay first and not giving us a chance to reschedule. Don't waste your time or money. You will get rude and unhelpful costumer service. And that's if anyone answers the phone to begin with. read more

Very disappointed, that they expect you to pay for your child's school pictures w/o being able to see them first. Or if you buy online after viewing them, then you have to pay more for utilizing that service. I feel big rip off, and inconvenient. No 1 has money to waste buying pictures they haven't viewed, or being charged more to make sure their child looks good in the photos. I hope we don't get them for spring photos. read more

We had our Christmas photos done here. They are quick and efficient but you don't feel rushed. Santa was amazing. He looked great, not creepy like some. We enjoyed our experience. Also, when I felt the photos were too dark with the enhancements I called to request the unedited digitals, they sent them right away. read more

How can you take photos of children and not ask them to smile, ask them to take their hair out of their face, make them look at the camera, or even retake a picture if it looks bad. They show a Family with Santa in their advertisement. It's September. I called to schedule a "Family" Photo, as I've done in years past here. I was told Sorry but Senior Photos Only Until January 1st!!!! So not one single "Family" can get Any Holiday Photos or Family Photos to send or Include with Gifts. It's September. You really can't fit my family in a session for the next 3 months, that's a shame, we will no longer use Olson Photography nor order School Photos in they are affiliated, they don't care about "Family". Complete garbage company. For whatever reason they always do the photos at my child's school and they are overpriced, and the photos consistently come out horrible. Was forced to do the Senior Pictures through them and EVERYONE is so rude and they tried to cancel my appointment when we were 2 minutes late, when that was the fastest we could get there after my daughter got out of school and they are way out in the middle of nowhere. DO NOT GO HERE. Unless you want to loose all of your money on some crappy pictures. They don't even cut out the pictures right and they don't call you when they are ready. they also put their BIG watermark in the corner of every photo. Do not go here, complete garbage. read more

We visited during Christmas and WOW Santa blew us away! The staff here goes out of their way for you, so friendly and helpful. Prices super affordable. The backdrops were super cute for the holidays and I can't say enough about their Santa. Such a magical experience all around! This company has terrible customer service, I hope my son's school stop using their services soon. I had a big issue with my son's yearbook this year, his first year in middle school by the way, after contacting the school they got me in touch with a guy named Brandon Olson whom I assume is their contact person there. I am still waiting for the yearbook he promised me and the school over a month ago. He won't pick up his phone, he likes to send texts, only to give me the round around of what is taking them so long. I was told by the school they have had many issues with missing yearbooks, student photos put in the wrong grade, misspelled student names, not returning calls or emails promptly. I don't know why they still use them for their services. Their customer service is ridiculous! read more

The photography staff and support staff are excellent. I needed to get some graduation pictures finished in a timely manner by utilizing a green screen for a background. The photography staff were friendly and assisted me with my cap/gown/hood/etc. and allowed me to have pictures in multiple positions. Afterwards, the support staff showed me the photos, and I was able to pick and choose which were my favorite. I had a minor issue with timing and sending my announcements out, but Brandon was able to help me with this minor issue the same day. I highly recommend them for all of your photographic needs, especially due to the quality and care for their customers. I am highly impressed. read more

We ordered photos through our daughter's school as part of their annual photo program. We received our daughters school photos and they were shot well and overall were very nice. However there is a watermark/company logo on the bottom. We called to ask about it because there was nothing on the flier indicating Olson Photography would be advertising on our photos. When we called and spoke with someone they were rather rude and responded "we put our logo on everything. We have been doing photography work for many schools in the high desert and 'down the hill' and no one has ever complained. Every photo that comes out of our lab, whether they are school photos, family portraits, sports photos etc. has our logo on it and no one has ever complained." I told them we paid about $45 dollars for a photo and don't appreciate an advertisement for their company on our photo. The representative was completely unhelpful and stated "we have a connection with a person at the school your child goes to and we always put our logo everything. We are a professional photography studio and that is what the pros do." I responded by saying if I had gone to Sears for photos that would not be the case, I do not get photos with the Sears logo on the bottom and they just continually told me they have been doing this for years and no one has ever complained and therefore our concern was essentially invalidated. They didn't offer any resolution nor any compassion for the situation. They told me if I didn't like it to keep calling back and speak with the owner. They were very flippant and basically left me feeling as if they already had our money and they have the entire school locked down due to a connection they have made there so they have little to no concern for our concern. I would never do business again with this company and recommend you don't either. My experience with them is an indication they are unyielding and do not care if they advertise on the photos you paid for. read more

I did my son's senior pictures and the experience was great. Christine was the photographer and she made him feel so comfortable. I ordered a lot of poses. I then took my sons back for a sitting. It was again with Christine and it was so much fun. We ordered a lot of poses again. Really good and personable. Great experience both times. read more
