From the initial phone call to the procedure itself, everything went well. My daughter is an anxious patient, but after reading reviews about Dr. McGann's experience with nervous patients, I felt better about choosing this office. During the consultation Dr. McGann patiently answered all of our questions and the wisdom teeth extractions went better than expected. The aftercare instructions were explained, and her prescriptions were sent to our pharmacy of choice and ready for pickup before we even left the office. Brandy walked my daughter to the car and made sure she was safely in her seat, which I thought was very thoughtful and compassionate. The office itself is contemporary, calm, and welcoming, with beautiful wood accents and two comfortable seating areas. There's a waiting area inside and outside. I really liked the vertical wood partitions. It gave the office a clean, Scandinavian design vibe. The building is on a corner lot with a small parking area in the back, and the entrance is wheelchair accessible. There's also metered street parking directly across the street. The personal touches in the post care bag like chapstick, extra gauze and the syringe for flushing the medicine, meant so much. As a college student, she loves the new sweatshirt! She wore it inside at home today saying how comfortable it is! Wisdom teeth removal is a rite of passage for many teens and I'm so happy that my daughter had a pleasant experience. She's feeling better since the teeth have been removed. So grateful for this office. Dr. McGann's bedside manner and attentiveness are truly top-tier. We live 2.5 to 3 hours away (depending on traffic) so when I realized I had a missed call from the oral surgery office, I panicked a little thinking we had forgotten something! Imagine my relief and surprise when I listened to the voicemail and it was Dr. McGann personally calling the same evening to check on my daughter's healing and progress. A+++ This office treats its patients with respect and care. It operates like a well-oiled machine. Every staff member is efficient, competent, and a skilled communicator. This kind of care is rare. Dr Machado performed a double jaw surgery on me in 2012 - thirteen years ago. I really haven't been able to put into words that he completely changed my entire life. I cannot express enough gratitude and thanks for being able to live the last 13 years happy with my face, after hating looking in the mirror for my entire life prior. Dr Machado is the single most pivotal person in my life after my family. No longer having my appearance be a daily negative factor in my life is best gift I could have ever received. Dr. Machado and his office fought hard for my parents to get the surgery approved through insurance, made a critical last minute decision to go for double jaw surgery instead of having to do two as originally planned, which was so amazing. He was available during my after care and I always felt like I was in good hands and that he was available should I ever need him... which I did a couple years later. My favorite experience was a year or so later when I came back in to get a screw removed - Dr Machado looked at my face and said something to the effect of "I could lowered the top teeth slightly more" - which is something I had considered in passing. I am more than thrilled with my face, its an absolute success by every measure and by any other doctor would be considered 'perfect' - but I am even more appreciative that Dr. Machado cares down the millimeters and scrutinizes your face just as much or more as you do. He is a true artist and a perfectionist. When you undergo this type of surgery you need to have someone you can trust with your appearance, especially in the trying times when you have to wait months to a year for the final result. I have lived a life of severe dental anxiety causing me to not see a dentist for decades. The reality set in that I couldn't hide behind my dental anxiety any longer. I reached out to Dr. McClanahan and set up an appointment. Even setting foot in the office was causing heart palpitations. I had no idea what to expect! I have read online that some dentists shame patients for neglecting care, or how some just don't care if you're anxious. My mind was full of all kinds of interesting thoughts and fears. I told him and his staff that I am anxious, and they treated me with extra care and explained everything along the way. After some x-rays and a consultation, I needed an extraction and some fillings! Yikes. It was kind of a shock, although I knew I'd need some extensive work. I was disappointed with my experience at this office. My husband's insurance had recently expired without our knowledge. While I understand that insurance eligibility can change and needs to be verified before an appointment, the way the situation was handled was unprofessional. As we tried to understand why it had not been caught earlier, she became visibly annoyed, rolled her eyes, and returned my husband's ID by sliding/slamming it back across the counter. We remained respectful and immediately offered to pay for the consultation out of pocket. Despite repeatedly confirming that we wanted to proceed and pay for the appointment, we were continually asked if we wanted to reschedule instead. We were also repeatedly reminded about the card processing fee even after acknowledging it and agreeing to pay. The dentist may provide good care, but the customer service we received at the front desk left a very negative impression. A little professionalism, patience, and courtesy would have gone a long way.

Dr. Kim has resolved dental issues that no other dentist I've seen was capable of addressing. Her skills are top-notch, and she and her staff are always caring, friendly, and effective. We both had Invisalign treatment here, and Dr. Kim made important adjustments along the way that ensured excellent results for each of us. In my case, she patiently worked through a stubborn lower tooth and suggested a permanent retainer for several of my lower teeth -- it's comfortable and very effective. After decades of struggling with jaw clenching that caused severe pain, headaches, and excessive wear on my teeth, Dr. Kim asked if I'd like to try Botox treatment for it.
