We discussed and agreed to the project schedule and expectations. What transpired was a serious lack of transparency and management. We were taken advantage of including paying for work that was never done and were told it was, hurried work that required rework multiple times, schedule slippage by multiple weeks causing us to incur additional costs and rescheduling subsequent contractors. John discussed making things right, however we were well past the point of allowing for this to continue and paid for a different contractor to finish the remaining rework. I was referred to this company, by my insurance company in a time of need when my condo flooded and…read moreI needed new flooring. Not only did they try to charge me extra to level the floors, which is part of any LVP install process, but a random woman showed up to actually do the work. While I'm happy to support women in any field, she was obviously subcontracted and had no idea what she was doing. The floors separated to show the underlayment in a matter of days, there were gaps in the quarter round, and I'm tripping over boards which pop due to huge gaps, sloppily left between the boards and walls/cabinets. They have refused to impose any accountability of their "employee's" work, nor have they tried to make the situation right, adding insult to the injury that is my situation. Horribly disappointing that this is supposed to be an honorable/family owned company who supposedly takes pride in their work. The founder who set these standards must have retired. I couldn't add pics of every sloppy mistake as I'm limited on how many I can post. Do yourself a favor, go with a different company, even corporate, they'll at least pretend to care.

Dave carefully inspected the entire floor and explained that refinishing was possible -- and he delivered outstanding results with good value. Dave is thorough and an excellent communicator. He explained the types of wear on my floors and outlined his refinishing strategy step by step. With little room for error on this type of flooring, I appreciated his clear approach -- there's no "undo" button with refinishing! Dave also has tools I've never seen before -- it felt like he had a gadget for every challenge that came up. Plus, he's been doing this for years, so he knows how different stains and woods react. I even learned a bit along the way. And the best part? Dave does the work himself. Sometimes he brings an assistant to help with simple stuff, but you're really hiring him -- not a random crew. After seeing what he did with the floors, I also had him fix some big cracks in my garage and driveway too. Same story: great work, no fuss. He provided a consultation for my indoor floors, but then I had him also look at my garage floor and he said he was able to do the work I was looking for, which is what I will be reviewing here today. I had a few cracks in my garage floor and was looking to Epoxy it to protect it for the winter. Dave explained to me his process and how it differs from the competition which helps keep his cost low. The best part about Dave was that he stuck to the quote he gave me, with no surprises or additional ask for money, and he started when he said he would, got the job done quick, and finished when he said he would - anyone who has worked with contractors before knows this is a rarity! Dave was respectful and treated the place with care, and I would recommend his work to others. We think the garage looks great! Dave is passionate about his work and did tend to over-explain some things to me, so some people might enjoy that more than others but it was great to hear how much he knew about the subject!

We hired Wall to Wall Tiling to update our bathroom, including our floor which was in good shape…read morebut needed refreshing. Cory (Wall to Wall owner) recommended The Tile Shop for the tile and even the salesperson to work with, someone he knew well who would take good care of us. Within months of installation, we had a long crack that crossed the entire floor from the vanity to the wall. Cory said he would replace the cracked tiles at his expense. He personally put in the new tiles, but several of the bordering tiles were damaged in the process and the new tiles were so sloppily installed (corners didn't line up, new tiles not level with the old ones, missing grout), that Cory agreed to redo the repair again. He delayed and postponed for months, meanwhile the new tiles have cracked IN THE EXACT PLACE as the previous tiles. Now Cory refuses to do the work unless paid an additional $1000, saying we are responsible because we bought "cheap" tile, even though we followed his recommendation. The Tile Shop manager inspected the floor and confirmed the tile is not the problem and is one of the top grades of marble available. Since we no longer trust Wall to Wall to do the work properly after two failed attempts and their attempt to force us to pay more, we asked for a partial refund so we can find someone who can, which Cory also refused.

We hired Corey to do some tile work around our jetted tub and add trim to our kitchen backsplash…read more In the kitchen he left grout on the walls, the trim isn't straight and its thicker than the backsplash which makes the trim stick out. On the tile for the jetted tub, he didn't remove the faucets to tile under, he just put a huge square of grout around the handles which is now cracking. He replaced the access door to the plumbing upside down and tiled it in place, making it useless. He was to prop the tub up and tile under the edge of the tub, instead he put a like of chaulking between the tub and the tile, which has cracked. He should have used silicone instead of chaulking. I would not recommend using this company for anything!!

Mike came back to fix the floor at no additional charge. We wish it could have been done properly…read morethe first time, but we are pleased with the results.
