Epitome of delicious!
Derek P.

It's mid-October and I'm craving ice cream. Most places are closed for the season or closing early. It's 7pm and I see an open sign like an oasis in the desert! Stumbled across this place on a whim and wow! What a pleasant surprise. Very nice little store on the corner, love the design of the interior. Felt very welcomed walking in and everything looked so good. I forget the name of the guy working there, but he was hilarious, had us laughing as we chatted away. We had some of the most amazing desserts I've ever had. Truly a miracle we found this place. Can't wait until it opens up again next year!

This is the new ice cream place on the corner in what used to be Dewey's. The owner proudly declared they serve hard pack Jordan's ice cream out of Belmont, NH. Ambiance is pretty much same as it was under the previous owner - nice old country store with a black and white photo of when it really was the corner general store. Plentiful list of flavors to choose from and the ice cream was delicious. Prices were very reasonable. Service was friendly and eager to please (I think they just opened). Only two reasons I didn't give 5 stars / two things would lead me to raise this to 5 stars in the future: 1. Cash only. 2. No posted hours. The owner said Thursday through Sunday for now until he gets more employees trained up. I could get past the cash only thing if I just know that in advance. The real frustrating thing about the previous business here was the complete unreliability of their hours. We would make a point to get in the car to drive over there to get ice cream, and they would be closed. If this owner can make a schedule and stick to it so customers know when they can or can't go get ice cream, then he'll have much better business results than the previous shop did. I hope this place succeeds! I love hard pack ice cream!

I got chocolate chip mint in a sugar cone and it was wonderful. We also got a strawberry in a homemade waffle cone. The waffle cone was excellent as were both ice creams. Nice view sitting out front.

It is good and a fun place to go with family decent ice cream and fun toppings. Good place to bring your dog as the name suggests.

Kellerhaus is always a mandatory stop when we are in the area. We love to browse the gift shop…read moreand buy some fudge. And of course we always have to have some of their delicious ice cream. They have a couple dozen flavors of ice cream and a make your own sundae bar. The scoops of ice cream are generously sized and there's a decent variety of toppings on the sundae bar. I especially like the peanut butter sauce. I think the ice cream and the sundae bar are reasonably priced. I wish they had a typical display case for the ice creams, I'd like the opportunity to see what the different flavors look like before I order.

My family has been coming here for 15+ years. It has always been a favorite, for its fun vintage…read moreatmosphere, delicious scoops and self-serve sundae bar. In recent years it has changed ownership and while we still visit, some changes have been made for the worse - mainly the new line and ordering setup. Now you are shuffled along a winding path where you can only see the flavor menu right as you're going to order; it makes deciding much more difficult and rushed. They then take your order and scoop everything downstairs, instead of in front of you in the ice cream case, which used to be more enjoyable. They leave the line standing there for a while until they bring orders upstairs and hand them to you. I understand if maybe this was necessary, I am just saying it feels a lot less quaint and personal, and more like you're being herded like cattle through a line where the ice cream is put together somewhere else. The old setup was much nicer and everyone I have talked to agrees. Their ice cream is still tasty, we love the sundae bar, and the homemade candy and chocolates are delectable. Kellerhaus has so much charm, and I would love to see the old ice cream setup brought back!

Unfortunately... Really wanted to love this place. Have no idea how it gets the business it does,…read moreother than its placement for all the camp goers, I guess. Have no idea how this place survives through the winter. Nothing about this establishment is homemade. At all. Look at the ingredients, they're really bad. Nothing natural about a shred of it. But I'm not too stuck up to try, so I gave it a go, anyway. And, it was disgusting. The second star I gave is for the ginger, that was about on par with another establishment I have tried. I try to give credit wherever it is due! Decent building, clean, surprising space from the outside you can't tell, cute touristy sales items; this is their best feature. For some reason the ice cream freezers in full view of the sun, their electric bill must be astronomical. I ordered a frappe. Yikes. Soda and milk were blended together, and I'm guessing ice cream was in there too, but you couldn't tell. I don't drink soda, and I LOVE ice cream. So when I tell you that I would rather have just drank the soda, that's a big deal. I took two sips and threw the rest away. Horrific. The flavour was extremely nasty, and I wasn't about to do that to my body, just because I'd paid for it. I'm so sad. We need more small businesses!! If they were at least honest about their marketing, that would be a huge step. And someone who knows something about ice cream and flavours really needs to help them curate their menu and how to actually make ice cream and ice cream products. That would be TRANSFORMATIVE!! For the betterment of your business and community, please consider.
