THEN DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO OGLE FURNITURE OUTLET!** There is a sign on the door asking customers to be patient and kind because they are supposedly "short-staffed." **DON'T BUY THAT EXCUSE!** That same sign has been hanging there for at least TWO YEARS! At this point, it seems less like a staffing issue and more like an excuse for absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. We went in today ready to purchase a set of bunk beds, a matching twin bed, and mattresses for all of them. We weren't just browsing. **We were ready to SPEND MONEY!** We walked around for approximately **15 MINUTES** before we even saw an employee. When a man finally appeared and asked if we needed help, I explained what we were looking for and asked about bunk beds and possible options. His idea of customer service? **Point in a general direction and DISAPPEAR!** No assistance. No suggestions. No showing us options. NOTHING. And where did we finally see him again? **SITTING IN A CHAIR PLAYING ON HIS PHONE AS WE WERE LEAVING!** Meanwhile, I spotted a group of employees gathered behind a desk in an office-type area, laughing and cutting up. So apparently there were employees available -- just none who seemed remotely interested in helping customers! Let's recap: We weren't greeted when we entered. We had to wander around looking for help. The one employee who approached us pointed us in a direction and vanished. Nobody followed up, nobody asked if we had questions, and nobody even acknowledged us as we walked out. **ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE!** Now, here's the best part! We drove down the road to **Smoky's Furniture on Veterans Boulevard**, and the difference was NIGHT AND DAY! We were greeted IMMEDIATELY upon entering. The employees were friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in helping us. What an incredible experience compared to the complete lack of service at Ogle! **OGLE FURNITURE OUTLET, YOU LOST A CUSTOMER WHO WAS READY TO PURCHASE MULTIPLE BEDS AND MATTRESSES TODAY!** And judging by our experience, you didn't care one bit. If you need furniture and actually expect someone to HELP you, **SKIP OGLE FURNITURE OUTLET AND GO TO SMOKY'S FURNITURE INSTEAD!** I don't expect employees to roll out the red carpet. From what I've heard this is a service dog only store, but these are not service dogs I'm seeing. It's hard enough for my mom and I being afraid of dogs, but we have always felt safe to go into a store or restaurant and relax. Not anymore! No one enforces rules anymore and it's affecting the lives of people who have a true fear of animals. A big pit bull headed towards my mom while she was shopping and she was terrified. The family didn't even try to keep him away from her. It's just not fair.

The star of the visit was our guide, who took us on a cider journey through the various flavors and offerings. Excellent. There was a large variety of flavors available to sample, making it easy to compare styles and find a favorite. After sampling our way through the lineup, we wound up purchasing a glass of the original apple cider and enjoyed it outside. And honestly, that's where the experience really came together. Sitting outside with a fresh cider in hand, playing cornhole and Jenga, enjoying the atmosphere, and slowing down for a little while made for a genuinely relaxing afternoon. No rushing. No crowds pushing you along. Just good cider and good company. We also picked up a growler to bring back to the hotel because one thing became very clear during the tasting process: leaving empty-handed would have been a mistake.
