Michaels in Odessa, TX, was okay. Certainly better than no Michaels!…read more My daughters wanted to come here for more art supplies. How can I deny this request? I ended up getting + 30" roll of wrapping paper = $2 + balloon garland kit = $18.99 (yeah pricey, but my almost teen wanted to host a house party with those rose gold colors) + 7" birthday plates = 2 @ $1.27 + pipette set of 10 = $3.39 + mini Van Gogh "Irises" relief board (it's like a paint by numbers) = $5 But the store was a bit unorganized in areas and quite dirty on June 27, 2026. The woman at the checkout was not particularly friendly. Parking was ample in the busy plaza lot due to HEB right next door. Here is my ode to a hopeful improvement in the future... To the tune of "Shall We Dance" with Fred & Ginger (1937), but arts & crafts style: Drop that long face, come on, have your fling Why keep nursing the blues? If you want this whole world on a string Put on your art shoes Stop wasting time Put on your art shoes Watch your spirits climb Shall we paint or keep on moping? Shall we draw and walk on air? Shall we give in to despair Or shall we craft with never a care? Life is short, we're growing older Don't you be an also-ran You'd better paint, little lady, draw, little man Craft whenever you can https://youtu.be/mUDKqqXkCjM?si=fc7avrtKp-2FMlkp

I ordered Christmas supplies online from this store and could not have asked for better products,…read moreprices, fast delivery, etc.! Upon this purchase I received a $5 coupon and immediately made another purchase. Even though I ordered online, the designated store that sent me the goods is this one so I wanted to thank all the staff members who help make the online ordering process swift and seamless. Delivery on both was faster then comparable items on Amazon Prime. And literally the savings they have going on cannot be turned away! I've always taken a heart to craft stores even though I'm not always the craftiest person I like to make things even if they don't always come out as imagined but I truly appreciate this store keeping the crafting experience above satisfactory even through virtual experience. I appreciate this greatly during these uncertain times.

I was able to spend time at Mardel while I waited for my windshield to be repaired…read more I was there to find a Baptism gift for my niece and came out of the store with so much more and at incredibly low prices. Shirts, jewelry, and home decor had all made their way into my shopping cart. Mardel's is a great place for finding great gifts and items for all. I came across items for different popular religions as I was looking around. Diversity is so important and it's nice that individuals from different religions can come here to find items that support their faith and religious needs. It was relaxing just wandering around Mardel's, perusing everything as uplifting Christian music and advertisements played in the background through the intercom. A very kind older women rang us up, I believe she was the customer service manager. She moved slowly, carefully and patiently, ensuring she rang us up just right and that she packaged all our fragile items well. I left Mardel's feeling lighter and peaceful. I don't know how to explain it but it made me make a mental note to ensure I visit a Christian bookstore more regularly. It's good for the soul. I look forward to returning whenever I'm in the area again.
